We had used Massey services at a past house and due to irrigation issues at current house called them again. Massey was prompt and completed work as promised. Solved our short term problem so plan to use again long term.

Cancelled our lawn care last year and they still came out to service our yard 2 weeks after the cancellation. I received a bill and called to tell them I cancelled this and said I want to cancel pest service now. Well, the manager called me and talked me into keeping the pest prevention if he could get the charge cancelled. So I agreed. Now a year later I m receiving a collections letter for the payment they claimed was taken care of. Serious communication issues from day one.

New Sprinkler system for MIL. Doug went above and beyond to replace this system and give instructions. Very courteous and knowledgable.

This was the worst lawn service I ever had. I dont recommend anyone to use this company. I spent about $800 to have all crabgrass removed, to have my lawn reseeded and all bare spots treated to grow new grass. This year, we have been fortunate to have so far rain almost everyday in our area. However, all I see is more crabgrass growing and more weed, worse than before. There is no new grass growing, and bald spots are still all over. I keep complaining to the company, but so far no one seems to care to correct this bad situation.

I used Massey and gave them 1 year. The lawn looked worse and after an application of Scotts Southern Lawn Turf Builder, it looked better just after one treatment. The GM then tries to convince me to go with them again and then started services with me WITHOUT my consent. They sprayed for weeds and then tried to charge me $82. DO NOT use Massey. I was thinking about starting up again, but NOT after this incident. My ring cameras also show they only used a spreader for my back yard. I have saved the videos as evidence. They were there at 2:27PM on 9/27 and left by 2:30PM with about 3 minutes of activity with a spreader. They also state they used 20lbs of granular in my backyard, after using my own spreader, I know it should take about half that to cover the backyard. The invoice also states that they did a liquid treatment of weeds in the front, but the video did not capture that. I will update this post if they continue to pursue payment of this invoice. [Update] They said they removed the invoice and I have $0 balance, however, havent heard from anyone since they replied. Their pest was fine, but their lawn care is a hot mess. Used them for years in Orlando and it was great, but the Lakeland group is not recommended at all!

Service Man did an excitant job of replacing all my valves and bad sprinkler heads. System works perfectly. He also showed me how to use the new Control Unit.

Over promise and under deliver. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I know I will get the standard message about contacting the Regional Manager...been there done that. They destroyed my lawn. Service techs would show up and be on site 4 minutes (according to camera proof) and say they treated the entire yard. Promised irrigation setup and never showed up (twice). Promised a 100% money back guarantee, but we paid year in full and they refused to reimburse the first 2 visits. STAY AWAY FROM MASSEY. Find a small local company. Lawn Grazzers, Terminate. Massey are crooks like Trugreen!!!

They recently worked on my 93 year old neighbors sprinklers. It took them forever to come out and when they finally did, they said they have fixed the problem. However, a couple of days later the sprinklers werent functioning and watering and they told her it was a different problem and the would have to charge her to come out again. It was working before they got there. I think that they are just trying to rip off the elderly folks, who dont want to complain or say anything bad for fear the company will retaliate! I would never use them or recommend them and either would she!

Had masseys in lakeland do sprinkler repairs etc. Although the man was nice he cut out invisible fence line and replaced a sprinkler head leaving it to high in our yard. On another occasion 3 weeks later, we supposedly made an appointment to look at our dying grass (which our development had a yearly contract with them) and I waited all day and they never showed! When I called and complained to girl, nobody even bothered to call back. NEVER will use them again. Too many other companies out there. Look elsewhere!!
