Worse of the worse, the guy came did nothing and leave a note with a whole service done that never was done I was in my house looking what he did I try to cancer the account and has been a nightmare

They cameTo my House, knock on the door and enter WITHOUT letting us know. They just called me and tell me we where near our house and we decided to stop by . That s completely a lack of privacy respect.

DO NOT HIRE TruGreen for your lawn services. They are a fraudulent company. TruGreen in Palm Beach County: We paid up front for a year and Since day one, I had to fight an argue about them doing their job. How difficult is it to pull up, drag a hose off of a reel and spray what they are supposed to on your lawn? Well, they would only spray half of the yard, not do the back yard, drag the hoses over freshly planted shrubs and flat out not show up. Luckily, I have surveillance at my home and was able to catch them every single time. All of it on video. I was able to watch in real time and produce video. They say, there is no need for anyone to be home while the service is being performed. Well now I know why they say that. They would not have a company left if people were home to see what they do and don t do. They hire people that just don t care about their customers. Management is no better. All they ever say is, we want to make it right. How about put some checks and bounds in place to ensure the customer is getting what they are paying for? It s a wonder they are still in business. I will be reporting to the better business bureau as well. If after reading my review/complaint you still decide to hire them, make sure you are home or have video surveillance running while they are there. You will see what I m talking about. RUN and DO NOT BETAKEN BY THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY CALLED TRUGREEN.

They did nothing to my lawn, or my brothers, or my mothers lawn,,,been months and the weeds are still there, all kinds of it,,, no refunds

Have watched the employees on camera and are here for about two minutes once a month. Back yard looks worse. We pay good money for nothing. Do not recommend.

Not at all what I expected

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I will just name a few of the issues I had after signed and prepaid an agreement. 1. Services and treatments promised and not given 2. Technician lying about treating my property, sending me a report and finally acknowledging he did not treat your backyard once I mentioned my camera system 3. Supervisors who do not control or train technician and do not communicate properly with customers 4. Technician treating my neighbor s lawn instead of mine and NO ONE informed me of the mistake. 5. Zero customer service as customers cannot reach directly via phone or email their local office. 6. Lack of coordination within the several departments. I gave twice the code to my gate to access my backyard and the technicians were never given the code. My advice is that you find a small local company that you can trust and establish a rapport.

Family member started service. First visit was not completed. Technician arrived, placed a sign in the yard and left. Another visit was scheduled and no one showed to fulfill the service.

They are fast & efficient

When you call the automated system to learn about the services provided today at your property It says the scheduled service happened but nobody showed up and when I called the company I got put on hold forever

I wish I read the reviews before hiring this company. They destroyed my lawn and plants, destroyed everything in three months! Check out their A rating on BBB with 2,000 complaints! This company is a FRAUD!! No call backs as promised!!!

I had their service since 2017. I did see some improvements but at that price I should of just resodded the whole yard. I decided to cancel the service and less than a month later the whole lawn was nuked. Let me see how I can describe this.. all the St. Augustine grass was killed off as if the whole yard was soaked in weed killer. Never has it looked this bad. Several weeks after cancelation there is no grass left. I am really close to bringing before, after, and dates to small claims. Just want to share my experience.

Beware of sales people integrity from this company after you sign up they will add services you never agreed plus they will charge you the whole amout upfront for it without even telling you until you see the charge on your card then good luck getting anybody on the phone to get an explanation.

I was a fan, but It seems this company is having difficulty with providing callbacks when issues arise. So many hours wasted on the phone trying to have them do what they are supposed to do.. Avoid the aggravation and steer clear of them.

Sales people will say anything to close a deal. I was charged more than I was told, and ive had to call twice to cancel their service which they seem to avoid my request. I was told I would get a refund, which was a lie and still waiting for it. From day one I had a bad feeling, should have stayed away. Initially, once you close you will a second call with another sales person trying up sell you. Then, you will see extra charges which they dont want to refund even if they say they will. Our initial request of reaching out to this company was never done, and the person who showed up even mentioned they dont do what I asked. Either way, stay away unless you want to join this horrible rodeo with these guys. To owner: please dont reply to my review, I already know its all bogus like everything else.

STAY AWAY.... The worst experience you can image. I installed beautiful sod, shrubs and bushes in the front and back of my home. After complaining four time during the first fine months about excessive weeds and bugs they provided a free extra service Didnt work.. the sod in my front year was burnt out and over run by weeds... Nothing burns out during the rainy season, accept my front lawn! There was NO weed control anywhere too.... We have cameras in my yard and we have proof they didnt even properly service my back yard on THREE occasions. Weeds, Bugs and destroyed lawn? Really, they suck. I am left with a disaster and must replace the sod again.... HORRIBLE !

I had TruGreen come out to my house two times. To spray grass for fertilizer and weed control. I had a small amount of weeds when they came the first time. A few weeks after spraying the first time my weeds were 10 times worse. I called them up they came out to reapply and said they were using some kind of weed deterrent in the spray they were spraying. A few weeks after spraying the second time my weeds have totally gone out of control. I do not believe there was any weed control in the fertilizer spray they were spraying the weeds took advantage of the fertilizer and flourished like I ve never seen before.

New customer, scheduled my first treatment. Call came in day before to confirm, left voicemail but Time was incorrect. Called in morning of appointment spoke to representative to confirm they would be coming at 6 PM so I could do the walk-through of my lawn with the technician. The representative confirmed the time and then I would see someone later that day. Left work early to be home for the service no one showed up. Waited a half hour then called the 800 number was told the office was closed and my service was voluntarily rescheduled per my request per the recording. Not a good first impression, will be looking for a new service provider.

My lawn is worst now than when I got Trugreen. I only hired them to maintain my lawn, not destroy it. I had a great experience with them in Tampa. Appears nobody knows what they are doing. If I posted pictures, they would be embarrassed

If there were a zero star that would be more accurate. I ordered an aeration service on April 16th and paid for it. It is now May 7th and I still have not received a call from TruGreen about scheduling the service. Every time I spoke to someone they said they would call within 24-48 hours to schedule the appointment. Never received one call. After 3 weeks I am now asking for a refund which I will be lucky to get back. Never use this service.

Thanks to J.B. and the TruGreen staff in Lake Worth for keeping our lawn, ficus white fly, trees and shrubs, and mosquito defense all managed for us. Their app is awesome and so is their service!

I dont even use this company and they sprayed and fertilized my yard. If the rocket scientist employed by this firm cant even read an address what do you think hes doing to your lawn. Negative Professionalism

Vincent my sales rep / area manager hasn t returned a single phone call for over three weeks. Trugreen has came out to my house within two weeks because the product they are using to get rid of ants and mosquitos hasn t worked. Never again!! I ll be calling again in the morning and filing a complaint with the better business bureau:

Have used TruGreen at my home in Orlando area for years. Great service. Very satisfied. Started new service in Delray Beach about three months ago. Have only seen increasing weeds. No real info from the company. When they sent me a survey I filled it out honestly. Not satisfied. Did they try to talk to my. Did they say how can we make you as satisfied as you are with the Orlando service I receive. Nope. Can t talk to anyone. Want someone to provide a free consultation to set a plan up to deal with the problem. Guess that takes an act of Congress. Thankfully it doesn t with some of their competitors. I am meeting with a couple of the competitors next week. And if I cancel one property because of no customer service I will be changing both.

Fertilizing lawn & landscaping. Trugreen shows up when they say. Price is competitive. Service is seamless. Lawn & landscaping look great. Advice of service tech is helpful

This company is the worst. 3 separate no shows with no phone call and they couldn t care less. STAY AWAY!!! WASTE OF MONEY!!!

We recently started using TruGreen services and would not recommend them to anyone. So far the first 3 services were as follows: 1. No show. Called to see when they were coming and they told me it looked like the guy went to the wrong house? Ok...we Rescheduled it and then they showed up the next day unannounced. No lawn analysis was done. There is no clear communication between anyone. 2. Went as scheduled with no issues and included a lawn analysis. It would have been helpful to speak to someone to know what parts of the lawn they were recommending sod application. 3. We needed aeration/lyme done. The guy came and never performed the service but I saw he left a summary online that he did...he performed it on the WRONG HOUSE. He did our neighbors tiny walkway of a grassy area they don t even have a much of a backyard but he managed to make a mess. Whatever little grass they had is now a dug up muddy mess. They are not happy. I am still waiting after 2 calls later for a manager to call me back regarding the issue...not only are we and our neighbors unhappy but our aeration still has not been performed.

Tried again was over charged And lied to again.

I am a customer for a log time, numerous problems. Today came to complete regular tree and shrub service. Service mans machine was down so he could not do any spraying. Yet it gets put in as he did his service, I get full bill. I called office and yes they would bill me but I will get a FREE follow-up in 2 Weeks, I get free follow-ups with my service. They finally agreed to half charge for today. It should have been just entered as a follow-up. The same thing happened last week when they were here todo my yard. I told them not to do it until they could complete full service. Managers will never call you back.

I have used TureGreen for about two years. The first year my lawn was the envy of my neighborhood however this year my front lawn was overrun with crab grass(after calling to complain about it the crab grass has since been eradicated.) Also the customer service on the phone has ABSOLUTELY been the worse. I actually at times felt like I was speaking with a high school teenager working at Mcdonalds with an attitude. I am going to give them about a month or two and if the service and customer service hasnt improve I will be moving on.

My only wish is that a few of the Trugreen technicians in the field cared more about my lawn as much as i do, i believe they have an amazing product & they answer to most of my lawn care concerns (customer service) but if the pesticides and fertilizer arent applied properly which i have observed myself personally on two occasions the technicians skirt and half do their job. i contacted customer service twice in regards to this matter... the very lawn they were paid to protect i watched weeds & fungus flourish under the supervision of two of their particular techs. its the employees in the field that have to care! There was one exceptional exception in one employee!

No consistency of care. Its always a different person on the phone, a different technician caring for the yard. Often the service never happens. I get the emails, the texts... but no one shows up. So I call, I fill out the surveys. No change.

Very nice company. They were very helpful and their environmental friendly products are working wonders in our yard! It looks fantastic. I will continue to use them. They have tons of affordable packages to choose from

Joel Richardson came to my home yesterday and I have to tell you he was great he went with me around the house pointed things out to me made suggestions to me was friendly and respectful I was very happy with the level of service he provided.

One of the employees in this company was dishonestly offered his service in my house and charged the following day half of the years payment without the clients permission really dishonesty in the sale of the service

Was filling out a form on their site and had to stop. Got a call and answered it and they hung up on me. Called back and got a recording. Absolute spammers. I could care less if they can fix a lawn they are robocallers and spammers

Was quoted a price for first service. Technician came and did more than asked for and was charged for. Did a refund for chinch bug treatment but technician never came back for free treatment since it rained on the first service. Not pleased

DONT USE TRUGREEN! I agreed to a plan that was $29.95 for the first treatment and about $52 every 5 weeks after. In the first month I was charged a total of $183 for bogus lawn treatments I never ordered, never asked for and never agreed to. I had to have my credit card company threaten a charge back to get a partial refund. THEY ARE LITERALLY THIEVES COMMITTING FRAUD. The worst part is I have more clover in my yard now than when they started. USE ANYONE ELSE!

Horrible!!! STAY AWAY!! This is my experience...I put a request in online for my info and a rep named Robert called me within mins. I explained to him what i was looking for which was flea treatments for the outside of my house. I told him i have gravel where my RV is parked and a patio/pool area and he told me that was not a problem. He said Trugreen will take care of you. Well the specialist came to my house monday morning and only sprayed my grass. When i asked him about the patio and gravel area he stated we only spray grass i then called trugreen this morning and explained to them the whole situation and i was told a supervisor will call you in 24-48hrs i think this is absurd! and i am not paying the balance until my yard area is sprayed 100% not 50% so my advice to new customers is to stay away from this company please!

I am changing my review to a five-star. After speaking with supervisors TruGreen really came through and fix my yard up as good as new. They really do have a great customer service once they reach out and talk to you they have to figure out what the problem was but they will definitely fix any mistakes that occurred. This is a great company that will stand by their word.

Very clean place people are nice seems like an great workplace

The offer of $29.95 first application is not accurate, they claim they perform multiple applications at once (first service) and bill $60.95 + $60.95 + $29.95. Also their guarantee of returning as many time as needed is not accurate, repeatedly cancel the repeat (free) services. I was signed up for weed control, saw absolutely no change, there are more weeds now. They keep telling me its will be another week for it to take effect, we are 3 weeks with no results. Mosquito Defense was worthless too, even the first night, we were getting destroyed. Had hope this service would have helped manage my yard, it was a complete was of money.

I had no problem with the service, but I cancelled because of the incessant sales calls. I had people calling time and time again insisting that I have a mosquito problem. I complained and was put on a do not call list. Then the calls kept coming from sales with one of them sounding intoxicated. At this point I cancelled, was placed on a do not call list. And 6 mos later...still getting calls.

TruGreen does a great job with the services they provide for our lawn, trees and shrubs. We get a lot of complements on our lawn and when asked what we use we say TruGreen. We are very happy with their services.

They started out doing well recovering my lawn that was in horrible condition. After about 5 months my lawn started to go down hill again. I made numerous calls asking to meet with a manager to discuss what they are going do. Finally after 4 months of complaints and spending a lot money, a manager text me and left it up to me to meet. At this point I gave up and cancelled my service. I now maintain my own lawn for a quater of the price. Thanks for nothing Trugreen!!!

I think their service was OK. It seems a little bit disorganized, but OK. The problem with True Green is their lack of respect for people. After 2 or 3 months with them I called to cancel since I learned that the home owners association fee included the same service that True Green was offering for free. The person completely understood so the cancellation was easy. That was over six months ago. The problem is that they continue calling at least twice a month to offer the service again. I have asked them to put me in a no call list but the calls keep coming. It feels like harassment. Every time somebody calls I tell them that I am getting the service for free and not to call me again. Of course, because they do not respect people the calls continue.

This service is an absolute joke. Call a local number and they send you to a sales call center. On the first call they were pushy and wanted me to sign a treatment contract over the phone. I asked if all yards get the same treatment and they told me how everything is customized based on my yard and needs. I asked about guarantee and warranty and they said that someone would go over that with me when I signed up. When I asked for someone to come out and see my needs and discuss the package before I give them a financial commitment she said that she cant guarantee a visit. Thinking that it was maybe a pushy sales associate I called a couple days later. Again, if you dont agree to give them your credit card over the phone then they say they cant help you. When I asked to schedule to have someone come out he told me we tailor our treatments to your region. I dont see any reason to have someone come talk to you. Sounding a bit fishy I asked a neighbor that used them and he said that I should absolutely not hire them, they hardly show up, they dont do anything and they see no results. They just want to collect credit cards for auto debit.

Canceled service but wanted to give them a second chance to earn our trust back but like before did not stand behind services etc. Prepaid mosquito service never controlled the pests even after repeated sprays promised a credit never have received. Called our local office about our concerns was told to call the 800 number. Money wasted will do ourselves from now on Don t believe their promises

My sales person was DAndre he told me he could sign me up for the first application at 29.99 and it would be 40 a visit after that. He snuck in additional services i did not agree to, and so i was double charged at once for extra services. He texted me non stop until i signed the contract but when i texted him about this issue he magically dissapeared!!

Fredrick was very informative with the needs of my lawn. We first walked the premises and he explained what and how he would be treating my lawn. I appreciate the time he took to explain the treatment plan. He was very professional. I look forward to the next visits as my lawn gets greener!

Company damaged my property and refused to pay to repair it. My yard is dead from the treatments and my fence is broken from their technician.

I have what at times seems to be a very difficult yard to maintain. Problem weeds and issues which thrive in my neighbors yards routinely try to populate in my yard. Especially the rear and side yard areas. TruGreen has been very good about trying to help me control this effort.

TruGreen has done a great job so far with my lawn. Looking forward to continued great customer service at a fair price.

Lawn care was going well until they burned several places. Called and left messages for manager 3 times and never got a return phone call. Switched to another provider.

DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE A RIP OFF... We hired True green thinking we would get our lawn in shape, not only did they not do the work they over charged us for work never done. I spent hours on the phone with my bank getting the charges reversed, the work was never done properly if done at all. The funny part of this is the OVER CHARGES or CHARGES we disputed at the bank now True Green has put us in collection. This company could be the very worst company out there and if you work with them be prepared.

I had Trugreen service my yard in Jupiter for over two years and it looks horrible. There are 5-7 different types of weeds growing that have killed the sod that was installed just prior to Trugreen beginning service. Since October 2017 I have contacted Trugreen over 15 times asking for the local representative to call me about my yard but no one has called, emailed, or texted me. Horrible service on my yard and even worse that the local representative knows he has done a horrible job and been robbing me but will not call me to attempt to make things right. I have cancelled my service and will move to corporate to attempt to get fees back or my yard re-sodded. Avoid Trugreen if you want your yard to look good.

They never show up for services and I had new sod which is now mostly weeds. Managers dont care about customers. They would send me a bill even though I paid for a year in advance. Just useless all together.

I am writing on behalf of my 92 year old mother. Here are the facts. April 19, 2016, mother signed a contract with Alan (employee#999) and prepaid for service. Alan advised she would have healthy grass within a few months and it would take 4 weeks to see any change. He advised the seeds previously put down had washed away and he would do something different to get grass in bald spots. By July 11th, no service was done. I was able to flag down a Tru Green service man (Gary) in her neighborhood. He told me my mother was not in their system so he would take care of this issue right away. He also said the property needed plugs but they wouldnt take unless top soil was spread. After which, they would schedule the plugs within a week. Same day, I spread 10 bags of top soil. One week later --- no plugs and in over 3 months, only 1 treatment done. Tuesday, July 19th, I began my mission to get this resolved. I first called the Lake Worth number, and was turned over to Sandra who PROMISED me a manager, Rick, Michael or Richard, would call me in the afternoon. I waited until 4:45 PM - no call. I then called the 800 number and reached a corporate person, Brenda in Tennessee. She advised me she would put in another request and PROMISED a manager or supervisor would call me within 48 hrs. (their policy). I left my home number and cell no. But, did not get a call back. After 49 hours, I again called the 800 number - and had to explain the situation for the 4th time to Daniel. He said he would put me in touch with someone who could help me. So - back we go to Sandra, who is shocked that one of her 3 managers did not call me in 2 hours or 48 hrs. She put me on hold, while she got a manager who was there at the time. After 40 minutes on hold, she hung up on me. So - Now, I just want my mothers money refunded. But I CANNOT even reach these people. If someone from this company does NOT contact me today so I can cancel this service, my next call will be to the states attorney generals office and the Better Business Bureau. Its disgusting how companies rip off the elderly!!! This company has the WORST customer service I have ever seen. If I could give them a minus of 5 stars, I would do so.

The same specialist has done my lawn for a little over a year. He rings my doorbell and always introduces himself in a very friendly and professional manner. If I am home hell explain what hes going to do and is very cheerful.

Absolutely terrible. My husband called and explained we had 5 acres of bahia grass we wanted treated. The first technician came out to treat our hedges which we didnt even want done. The next technician came out with a hand sprayer because they didnt tell him we had 5 acres and he said he would be back the next day. (Great I just brought all the horses in for nothing!) The next day came and I was waiting for him to come and finally gave up and put the horses out. I called the technician cell number. No answer, no call back. My husband got a hold of the main office and they gave a crap excuse that it wasnt set up for a recall in the computer. Third times a charm right? Wrong! Another technician came out today and said the chemicals he has are NOT safe for Bahia at all. (This is VERY scary since I was just assured from the last technician that their chemicals are safe for Bahia and horses.) What is wrong with this giant company? No one apparently knows anything and the customer service is non existent. I have no idea how they can be so big with this kind of treatment. Needless to say, we are done and will handle our grass ourselves like we have been.

After reaching out to them regarding half of my 2 months old sod being killed, I was told someone would get back to me within 3 days, 5 days went by without a return call so I called again and I was told everyone was in a meeting for a couple days and that they would get back to me first of the week. After waiting 3 more I finally called and canceled service. As a business owner myself customer service is my number one priority but unfortunately its not theres.
