Massey handled my lawn and shrub spraying between Dec 2020 and Oct 2024. I resodded large areas of my lawn several times over this period. I began to have a chinch bug problem in August and I was told that it was a watering issue. My sprinklers worked fine and we were coming out of a period with rain every day. Chinch bugs are one of the most important issues to prevent in St Augustine grass! I called in for additional retreatments which did not work. After the damaged area grew to what you see in the photo I gave up and cancelled the service. The manager called me and his primary concern seemed to be whether I would still pay for the September bill. I would avoid this provider, at least for their lawn related services. Edit/Added 11/16/24: The corporate office never reached out to discuss this with me, as their response said they would.

Isidro comes by the house regularly to get rid of the outdoor pests. He is friendly, reliable, and, most importantly, effective. He does a great job every time and is very helpful if something extra needs addressing. i am extremely happy with his work and I recommend him highly.
Kim Pepsin's is the first voice you hear when calling the Lake Mary office of Massey's Lawn Services. Not only is it a pleasant sounding voice but it exudes competency and caring. I recently met her in person. She is "command central" at the office- sitting in the first desk near the door. She has a very professional demeanor and it is clear that she is an asset to the organization .
Massey has been great since I swapped over from a competitor. In particular, Kenny went above and beyond spending time to take care of some work that was way beyond his scope in addition to providing me some valuable insight and feedback. Very happy overall with Massey.
Jordan Rasinski is the BEST Massey service person I have ever had work on my issue. Jordan was the ultimate professional. He also knows his job and does it very well. Jordan should be commended for the work he does. He is efficient and fixes the problem correctly the first time. I will only ask for Jordan for my Massey issues. I have been using Massey lawn service for the past three months. Connie did a great job in explaining the situation and charting out best plan for my lawn. I was extremely happy as my weeds were gone. Massey treated them better. But for past three weeks I had multiple interactions with them to find inconsistent responses for 1. Grass seeding 2. Adjusting PH level of the soil and schedules. Now the lawn color is changing because of lack of nutrients, iron deficiency and I am not sure anyone can come down and explain what s happening. I am trying my best not to cancel their service. I was thinking to take up their pest control as well but now have to think otherwise.
Today, Matt applied nutrients and insect plus weed control to my lawn. He was very professional, and knowledgeably addressed my concerns. He is an asset to the Massey organization.
The inspector came to our home to evaluate problems with irrigation and pest control - extrememly knowledgeable and very proactive. Very happy with there service.
Used them for my lawn maintenance and it was horrible! My lawn still looked liked weeds, the weeds never changed, they promise you things don t deliver, plus my grass color changed to yellow. It was in few places when they treated but now front and back yard are completely yellow in color. I feel lied to and then spit on, they dont care at all about the customer. I am calling them right away to cancel the service.

I have had Massey GreenUp for over 20 years. Its the only service I would allow at my house because Im a DIY guy. And I always said that their service left much to be desired but their product was phenomenal and effective. But a new low has been reached with my last service when they left a service report stating that granular product had been applied but I could not find the granules by visual inspection and my Ring doorbell showed the vehicle arrive, ring the bell and leave. I called Massey and was assured of reapplication but nothing happened. I didnt think much more until I saw a post on Nextdoor with a multiple similar stories. It sounds like Massey is looting their customers the way hoodlums loot department stores. I guess I will go with YouTube for instruction as I have with all my other home maintenance chores. UPDATE: I had 3 Massey employees at my door following this review and they were very supportive to correct prior poor service. I am hopeful that better service is in my future and will update this review accordingly.

You hired a big landscaping company like Massey with big promises so your lawn will be healthy and good looking, right? WRONG! If youre thinking about hiring Massey, please think again. My lawn is not healthier and it does look worse after a year of Massey landscaping service. A year is way more than enough time to make the lawn weed-free, insect-free, and strong but I now have a lawn with lots of weeds, brown spots, and unhealthy grass. I talked to them several times. Finally I fired them (should have done sooner). They just cant or wont make the lawn healthy. Learn from other peoples experiences. Do not hire Massey.

I caught them multiple times billing me and not treating my lawn. At 1st I thought it was a mistake because I couldnt believe They Would do that. I tried to cancel it was so difficult they kept on billing me. What a nightmare, my lawn looked worse than when they began.
Seems like a stand-up group of people working here!
