We had a sea wall rebuilt at our lake house. Much of the previous irrigation system was taken out because of this. Spinniken rebuilt the irrigation system and rewired it so that it works very well. Matt and his team are a pleasure to work with.

In August 2020 our artist-in-residency foundation, Tusen Takk, hired Spinniken Lawn and Irrigation to put in a system to irrigate a new exterior landscape we installed after construction of our buildings was completed. The landscape contained a significant number of new trees, shrubs and tall grasses, as well as a green courtyard of newly laid sod. Due to COVID-19, we were two months behind schedule - which meant we were planting the exterior landscape in the heat of August. Irrigation of the new plantings became a critical factor to the Foundations success - failure was not an option; we needed photographs of the finished site to provide visual evidence of its beauty to the artists, writers and composers who were applying for our 2021 residencies. On the referral of a neighbor who uses their services, I called Matt Spinniken. Matts response was immediate; he came over the next day and together we planned what was needed. Within a week the system was fully installed, giving life-preserving water to dozens of thirsty plants, trees and shrubs, not to mention the courtyards grass! Spinniken Irrigation did an outstanding job installing the irrigation around my home. The workers were a pleasure to work with and completed the work in the allotted time. They did just what they said they would do and did a great job cleaning up after they were finished. My irrigation system is probably quite a bit more complicated than a normal install. The water is pumped from the lake, goes under the county road and covers several acres of lawn. Matt Spinniken and the boys were up to the challenge and made everything work. Matt listened well and put together a plan that incorporated some existing drip irrigation. The Spinniken team was very professional and readily answered questions. The installation works great. Our topsoil is on sand and gravel and it was difficult to keep green in the summer. This is our first year but it seems to be thickening up nicely.
