The have done a great job at my house for years!

MRW is effective at producing good enough results to show initial progress during the standard 4-5 treatments per year. However, it is only after the most basic of broadleaf treatment portfolio that the sales and service team tell the client that an additional suite of broadleaf weeds, crab grass, Bermuda grass, etc. - which are common in SoMD lawns - costs hundreds of dollars more per year to treat. The rare/periodic participation by the treatment technical supervisor culminates in a report naming the weeds present, does not name which weeds are fully covered by the treatment, and most often responds to requests for assessing and/or correcting the performance of prior treatments by tasking the client with photographing and identifying the deficiencies in weed treatment through an email report. So, youre going to pay MRW for the opportunity for yourself to do the quality checks and reporting back to their service dept. Further, when the helpful customer service staff (she was patient and attentive) states that if/when weeds persist beyond 2-3 weeks after the treatment application date, to call them for a free re-treatment to honor the contract you paid them to execute, MRW denies this offer and tells you they will either schedule the next treatment early in the window, or decline to refund any percentage of the ineffective treatment. Upon each annual assessment when the treatment manager actually shows up to your house, the inevitable result is $600-$2400 of extra services that are deemed necessary to address weeds in your lawn. These services are: aerate, overseed (and broadcast spread grass seed into your landscaping/flowerbeds indiscriminately), paying premiums to treat >50% of naturally occurring MD weeds, double treatment to hit the weeds this broadleaf treatment covers extra hard. I know other clients of MRW that have been satisfied, and who received partial/full refunds of single treatments that were unsuccessful. This approach to honoring the contract was not extended to me, unless it was tied to 50% off your NEXT treatment. So, they would only do so if I continued paying them for future ineffective treatments. Finally, after 3-4 years of treatments, fertilizing, etc, I was told that the lawn they had been treating was off chemistry. The recommendation? $1200 of chemistry treatment to bring it into a good neutral pH and organic matter. I would not recommend MRW, because there is always another $1000 treatment that would solve the issue, while never satisfying the initial ~$700 annual contract signed to resolve broadleaf weeds.

We had a good experience with this company. They kept us informed of all plans and schedules for our lawn. The lawn care professionals arrived on time for every scheduled appointment so far. I appreciated that Pablo and his team were very efficient and professional. I would recommend them again.

I was really impressed with this company. They came out quickly to inspect my lawn and scheduled my first treatment right away. That s impressive, sure but I reached out to them this week to ask about pest control for my yard. While they do not perform the service I needed, they took the time to discuss my issue and offered recommendations to help me address it. They were so knowledgeable and helpful, and took the time to help even though they didn t perform the service I needed. That tells me this company truly cares about their customers. I highly recommend MRW!

Any time I ve called with an issue, they responded in a reasonable time frame. I always receive a call before they come out, in order to confirm that the day and time works for us. Just the worse....they called me at 7am to sell me a product...I agreed, I got a call 2 weeks later saying I selected the wrong product (that they recommended). Reps were just jerks! As if I owed them something...

I selected MRW Lawns based on the results from a neighbors annual use of their services. His yard is in fantastic condition. My large yard required fertilization and seeding. Patrick and his training tech showed up on time, and explained everything they were going to do. Aeration, fertilization, seeding and cut/slicing. A lot of work. At the end of the day, they got some assistance from another crew and the yard was completed well within day light hours. Yard looks like its ready for some much needed attention. Excited to see the results.

I asked for an estimate. The guy came out and said that I would recieve an email, never got it. I emailed the person that set up the appointment but never heard back from them either.

I paid for services and things seemed to be going well, until MRW LAWNS STOLE MONEY from my credit card for ADDITIONAL, OPTIONAL SERVICES that they did not render - services that I declined when they offered it to me. Im not sure if they completed all regular services. MRW is refusing to give me my money back. When I began with them, I was going to give them a prepaid card so that I could have control of the payments. They told me that they could not use the card and that THEY HAVE TO HAVE A CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD. NOW, I SEE WHY. If major stores, companies, doctors, Amazon, etc. accept this prepaid card from my bank, MRW should too. They want the credit or debit card because they can swipe it as often as they want and know that they will get the money. THATS ROBBERY!!! I DID NOT AUTHORIZE THOSE ADDITIONAL CHARGES!! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. I will take legal action if they dont give me my money back.

Lawn care. I have been trying to talk to someone concerning my lawn service starting early last week and no one has gotten back to me. However, they can contact me about a sale . I want to terminate my contract with them but I can t get in touch with anybody. Since they don t care about keeping me as a customer. Trugreen is cheaper

Our yard has never looked better. We have been in our home for ten years and are finally getting our lawn in shape. We have used mrw form the last year and what a HUGE difference they have made. Between the treatments and seeding it is night and day. Our first meeting was about how they could transform our yard not how other companies were lacking. My interaction over the phone with them, there have been a few, have always been pleasant and proffessional. The tech who services our yard is always polite and does a great job. Highly recommend this company

I was given the option to pay for 2 treatments. After the first treatment I saw no greening of the lawn. Supervisor came out and informed me it was due to fluctuating temperatures and being a new lawn. I bought my own bag of fertilizer and put it on the back yard. 2 weeks later it was green again..... I received a call today to make payments for next year. I informed them I was not continuing services. They claim the payment I made for the 2 services I wanted and requested locked me In to a whole year agreement. They are not willing to accept the payment for the two services and require me to pay for and additional 5 services with a company I do not want to have dealings with. Beware of the cheap sales tactics and tricks used to lock you into a contract. I had a agreement with natural green systems previously and never felt like I was dealing with a cheap salesman.

Be prepared to pay extras. Basic service doesnt include all weeds that may pop up in your yard and the additional services will cost you more than the basic service costs. Not the service I was expecting.

Coming up to the end of my first contract with this company. Never, Ever again. Customer Services and their Service in general for us has been the worst. Before I started with this company I had grass. Then the excuses started, too hot for grass to grow, or they would present a whole list of services they can provide for extra cost that will help the grass grow. For those who gave this company 4 or 5 stars, you were lucky, good for you. As for me, Never, Ever again.

it s funny how we heard about this company, my husband over heard a conversation about this lawn service while buying a car @ the dealer, he ask the lady for the phone number and just in a few days someone was @ my house ready to service the yard, I must say my husband and I are so happy with what we see as of 4 months my neighbors are noticing the difference and so are we!! we are so looking forward to a even better lawn. I wish I could share the pics, but trust they are AWESOME!!!

My lawn looks great, already after only 6 months of MRW treatment. Im really happy coming home to our yard. I love their online portal too, so I can add and pay for additional services based on their recommendations and not have to call or email anyone.

Too busy to take care of their clients, unless you purchase their entire package. For example, I paid $1,000 for a annual package of weed control. They came out several times in the beginning of season and sprayed. But then they stopped showing up so frequently, my weeds and crabgrass came back, and then they didnt show up until September to assess the impact. I expressed regret at spending the money. Specifically because they were not very responsive or timely in between treatments. They literally told me they were prioritizing clients who had purchased the weed AND seeding packages, and that they didnt have enough manpower to come out to all of their customers to assess progress etc, liking it to being Santa Claus visiting all the houses on Christmas. So yeah...if youre looking for a managed package Id look elsewhere. But if you just want someone to come out and indiscriminately dump treatment on your yard every 2 months, then they are fine. I will say they were very nice. I just think they have too many clients and not enough trusted employees to reap what they sow. I even said that to the manager and he replied that they would rather have a couple really good employees with deep technical skillets than hire a bunch of summer help types. I get it, but there has to be something in between. But nice enough people and price was better than Blades of Green.

Wife came home after lawn service completed and let our pets outside. So called professionals left our gate open... Not impressed with customer service. If you have pets, better check your gates after they visit your home.

I cannot rate MRW on their product and services. However, I am rating them on their job approach and communications. MRW is thorough in their approach--meaning that they do not take any short-cuts in making your lawn healthy. They start with a soil test and then move forward from there. This approach earns them 4 stars. The issue I have with them is poor communication. Our rep is Adam and often he cannot be reached. Specifically, when its time to execute MRWs recommendations, he is nowhere to be found or doesnt follow-up from conversations. This year, I have to apply lime and fertilizer to my lawn because he failed to follow-up from our conversation. I dont think you have to chase a company to give them money no matter how good they are. Therefore, they lose two stars for communications.

Had them diagnose my yard. Signed a contract with them for a year. Then half way through they said we have crab grass now it s going to cost us more money if you want them to treat it. This company was not what we expected and would not recommend them to anyone.

MRW has been a pleasure to work with. I started with them in 2011 and immediately saw a difference in the quality of my lawn. I used to do it myself, but found that I never could get the result I was looking for. I really think the cost of seed, fertilizer, lime, weed control and my time was probably equal to what I pay MRW and they get much better results and I dont have to do it myself. They let me know prior to each application and always show up when they say they will. It is one less thing that I need to worry about on my list and I am very happy with the service I am receiving. I would recommend them highly if you want to free up your life for more interesting recreation.

So far so good. We had our first application the other day. Its going to take time to see results but Adam was great and was able to address my concerns and provide all the information that I needed as to what to expect and things to do to promote a healthy lawn.

I havent had a lot of interaction with MRW but everything has gone smoothly. They are prompt, courteous, and thorough. The guy that came out is very knowledgeable, easy to talk with, and very helpful with suggestions that are above and beyond what is required.

This was my first experience with MRW. During the walk thru my yard with the rep, I learned a lot about my lawn, the problems, and the solutions needed to get my lawn healthy again. To date, my lawn has never looked greener and healthier. In fact, I have the best lawn on the street. But, I still have a few patches where the grass has not grown back as fast as I would like. I am hopeful this problem will take care of itself. l will certainly continue the contract for next year, with a few modifications.

The staff is always friendly and professional. MRW Lawns renovated my lawn 11 years ago and they have serviced my lawn beautifully every year since. Not only do I think it looks great, so do my neighbors. They constantly stop their cars just to let me know. I also recommend getting a lawn sprinkler system. MRW Lawns is worth the money and time!

When we first started with MRW about 2 yrs ago, our lawn was a mixture of several different grasses and weeds. We worked with MRW to decide what was best for rebuilding our lawn, killing off the old, adding top soil, compost and seeding. What would have taken generally 2-3 yrs to establish, we were showing off our new lawn in just one yr. MRW is amazing, they know what needs to be done, they stay on top of what needs to be done at a reasonable and comparable price. After other well known lawn care chains tried to do what they claim is the best they failed miserably, MRW did and will always be my lawn go to guys. Thank you so much, we are very happy costumers.

Ive used MRW for my lawn for the past 3-4 years. When I moved into my house, my backyard was mostly dirt & rocks, and the rest of my yard was beginning to be infested by weeds. I had sod laid in the backyard and MWRs regular treatments have managed to get my yard under control and now Im the best looking yard on the block. Its hassle free. They leave great comments anytime they come out for an application. In addition, if I find any weeds in between treatments, i can just call them up and they come out to get the weeds back under control.

I have used MRW for the last 7 years, I am very happy. Their service is first rate, sensitive to the enviroment and most importantly works. My lawn benefits and is complimented all the time. Reasonable rates. I cant comment on re-seeding but care of exsting lawn is excellent. Tru Green cannot hold a candle. If you are serious about making your lawn a centerpiece use MRW. That doesnt absolve of you of watering and taking an active role in your lawn but goes a long way to get you there.

This will be our fourth season with MRW Lawns, and were extremely happy with the service. Our lawn looks great. Four years ago we had no lawn, just weeds and bare spots. When we called MRW they scheduled Wallace to pay a visit. He walked us around the property and pointed out the types of weeds we had to deal with and the types of grasses that we should work with. He developed a plan and indicated we would see a big difference in two seasons. Well, as bad as our lawn was, just one season made a huge difference. But he was right, the improvement after two seasons was dramatic. Moving into our fourth season we have one of the nicest lawns in the community. Weve been really pleased with MRW Lawns and we definitely recommend their service.

My lawn is beautiful! MRW has been caring for it for over six years now, and I could not ask for a more responsive or concerned service provider. The employees, the ones who provide the services as well as the office staff are congenial and pleasant always!. When I had a very quick fungus attack, the team was out within 24 hours, diagnosed it, and provided the correct treatment, saving my beautiful lawn from what could have been a complete tragedy. From that point on we added fungal treatment annually and since then have had no unpleasant surprises. They check the lawn over when they come for treatments to be sure there isnt anything else brewing and let me know immediately of any needs. There is nothing better than looking off my deck and down at my lush, thick, healthy, Kelley Green lawn, and all I do is cut it at the height they recommend! Am I satisfied - just wish every business I did business with had the customer service and employee responsiveness of MRW Lawns.

Excellent!!! Ive been a client for at least a doxen years now. I consistently have one of the lushest, weed-free lawns in the neighborhood. I have been stopped numerous times while mowing to answer the question how do you get such a beautiful lawn? MRW has always delivered a high quality product and service. My recommendations have resulted in several new MRW clients. One look at my lawn and the results speak for themselves.
