Corey has a great crew of talented workers. However, he overpromised and underdelivered, had terrible communication, ghosted me for months, took four times longer than planned to complete the project, and doubled the cost from his original estimate. He blames everyone else and won't take responsibility for his mistakes. Is very sensitive to constructive criticism. He cut my cable line, didn't fix my sump pump drain like he promised but made it worse. Planted things we said we didn't want. Charged us for things we didn't want or ask for. Performed work that was going to cost more but didn't give us the estimate and get our approval before doing the work and then just stated the increased cost. Bottom line, his company can handle little projects very well because of his talented and hard-working crews but any project with complexity or that is large will suffer under Corey's poor administration of his company. I have heard the same type of feedback from numerous folks who have used him for their projects. I gave him 2 stars because he at least finished the project which there were plenty of times over the 12 months it took him to complete the project when he was ghosting me for months at a time that I was afraid I would have to take him to court to get him to finish the project.

Update: We hired Corey for a third time back in august this time for a smaller job. We paid him the 50% deposit and it’s January and the job has yet to even be started. Everytime we contact Corey he comes up with a new excuse and has eventually stopped responding all together. We are currently working to get our deposit back. Very disappointing especially since we have used him twice in the past. We used Corey Mullins to put in a 30’x6’ retaining wall and 24’ diameter patio and couldn’t be happier with the results. His quotes and invoices are super professional and itemized so you know exactly what you’re getting and paying for. Corey had a lot of really great design ideas and really brought them to life and his crew worked pretty much from sun up to sun down. They did an amazing job. Corey is really busy so patience is a good thing but he absolutely came through on everything. Will 100% use him again. 1 year update: It’s been about a year from our patio and retaining wall install. It hasn’t moved one inch and looks exactly how it did when it was finish. Our favorite spot in our backyard. 2nd Wall Update: We used Corey for another year to extend our existing wall he put in for us last year. We had another great experience. We originally were just going to do a straight retaining wall but had really great designs and made the wall way more then we were expecting while keeping within cost. We went from a straight wall to something that looks really beautiful and architectural. From start to finish the crew took about a week and we absolutely love it.

10/10 would recommend using Mullins Turf and Lawn care. Corey the owner listened to exactly what I wanted and delivered. Not only did they deliver what I wanted but did it on time and well within the budget we set. I couldn’t be happier!

I am the secretary of a condo association in the Highlands. I have been living here for around 5 years and have never seen our lawn and landscaping look so good. Hiring Mullins was the best choice for our HOA. Corey and the rest of the workers go above and beyond to ensure we have a clean, well kept property. They go out of their way to make sure everything looks great for us because they really care. I could not recommend them more for all lawn care services, drainage issues, etc. They are a great company!

Mullins did an excellent job of bringing our pool landscaping and hardscaping to life - and made helpful suggestions along the way so it ultimately turned out even better than we imagined!

We would like the thank Cory and his crew for the awesome job they did putting in our French Drain. Our landscaping looks wonderful and best if all, we no longer have to worry about water damage. I would highly recommend that company of professionals for any landscaping needs

Within weeks of leveling out our yard and installing sod and with daily watering as instructed, we ended up with dead patches and a massive overtaking of weeds which weren't there before. Over the course of a month we tried calling, texting and e-mailing but received no response. It wasn't till I left a message threatening to leave a bad review did I receive a call back. The co-owner (Corey) said he would be out to take a look but he never showed. I called and left another message a week ago and still haven't heard back. Their customer service and professionalism leaves much to be desired, and they ain't cheap!
