We have had them caring for our lawn for many years now, I think we are one of their first customers, and my lawn has improved tremendously over the time, the grass has a very thick layer that makes it not to requiere that much watering which saves us money from the irrigation bill. They have very good communication since they always let me know when they are coming, and if I ever need a consultation or have a concern with my yard, they are very responsive to my call. I totally recommend their services! :)
Dr John's has a wonderful staff with a lot of knowledge and experience working with your lawn. They are happy to answer questions and also pay close attention to your individual needs. Dr. John’s helped me get my lawn back after it suffering from root rot. I kept the service, now going on 9 years. I mow and edge my own yard, but they take care of fertilizer and week killer as well as fungicide and other products as needed. They have been a good service for me to keep my yard looking good!

I had badly damaged lawn from a fungus I was trying to treat with local big box store products. Nothing worked. Even replaced lawn a couple of times. I was referred to Dr John, he came to my home and we discussed the treatment plan. I thought I would give it a year to see improvement and was I surprised. I now see a huge difference and I am very happy with the service and will continue. I recommend Dr John to friends and family whenever possible.
I have found Dr. John to be especially knowledgeable about what needs to happen to make your lawn better, and thus is able to design a program to address the specific issues of your lawn. In our case it was drought and fungus combined.
Nick is an amazing young man. He is very knowledgeable. The two helpers are great as well.

This is my 2nd year with Dr. Johns Lawns. This year I was plagued with a virus, but Nick came out to treat the situation when it was not a normally scheduled visit.

Billed over $9,000 up front, killed our grass and never got rid of the nut sedge weeds. After 2 yrs and approximately $18,000 poorer I have weak, burned grass and tons of weeds. Basically I had to relandscape my yard. Now I have my service with a company called Chem green they re doing a way better job and less expensive I DO NOT RECOMMEND DR. JOHN S LAWN PRESCRIPTION
Dr John lawmen service has been great our lawn went from no grass thorns and weeds to a great lawn with thick green grass I can walk barefoot in . Love their service and my beautiful lawn

I dont recommend Dr. Johns Lawn Prescription. His employees destroyed my hedges and ruined my plants with their herbicide weed killer. Then Dr. John, himself, came to my residence to inspect the damages and he lied, by trying to convince me that the hedges had root rot. The herbicide weed killer was supposed to kill the weeds but instead the weeds didnt die but my hedges were affected by it. I stopped using their service and lucky for us, the hedges bounced back, it was not root rot like Dr. John had said. For $800 a year, it is not worth it for them to damage my lawn. If this rating had 0 stars, I wouldve put ZERO but I had to put 1 star. Be careful with this business, they are not properly trained to handle lawn chemicals.
