This is a very well run lawn service with a very professional approach to caring for lawns and shrubs. Our lawn has a lush green appearance and gets neighbors attention. They ask how we keep our lawn looking so good! Lawn Doctor has helped us avoid army worms that ate our neighbors lawn, treated any fungus before it created large brown spots, aereated and overseeded our lawn in the fall, and treated all of our shrubs and trees as well for any aphids, fungus, or any disease. They also fed our trees and shrubs and let us know of any individual problems they see. I am very impressed with the results the Lawn Doctor has given us!! You should give them a try....you wont be disappointed!

I have been a customer of Lawn Doctor for the last two years. My lawn looks worse now than it did two years ago. I signed up with Lawn Doctor in hopes of improving the health of my lawn, particularly in the back yard, since I have dogs and didnt want them to be muddy after going out. I was told by the salesman to not expect perfect but after two years we would see significant improvement if we started treatment with them and power seeded in the fall. Months ago I asked Lawn Doctor to send out an expert to re-evaluate my lawn because of how displeased I was with the results. I was informed that the quality of service I had received didnt surprise them and that they have had a lot of problems internally. I was then told that I needed to have more patience with them and to spend quite a bit of money to either sod or seed my yard. Two stars because the people were friendly but the results of the service speak for themselves.

We started with Lawn Doctor in 2022 and I cannot believe the difference in the lawn in such a short time. We had to spend a lot of time moving sprinklers around (which my husband didnt care too much about) but he did it - and it truly paid off. I waited a month before writing the review to really give the product a chance. I can say that after two applications of the weed control, my landscape beds are weed free. The last application was performed by Larry and I can tell he did a very thorough job. Well continue with the service!

We have used Lawn Doctor for 5 years. Our lawn looks the best in the neighborhood. We had crabgrass before we used their service, not any more it was gone in less than 3 months. We are on an annual plan and never need to call they just come when it is time and do their job, leave information what they did on the front door. I would definitely recommend Lawn Doctor to anyone who wants lush green lawn.

The one positive thing I ll say is when they actually performed the work, I could tell improvement. However, I paid for the full deal (insecticide, fertilize, etc.). However, they would often show up and place a service tag in our yard, but our camera showed them come and go without doing anything. You could also tell when they actually did it or not by looking at the lawn, but the camera didn t lie. One day when the insecticide guy came (he was the only one that came and serviced the yard regularly as he was supposed to), I told him that we would not be renewing our services. But, they continued to bill us while not doing the work and then sent me to collections and stated that we had to tell them in writing if we were not continuing services. Not to mention that the guy STRAIGHT UP TOLD ME that it s an annual thing and that if I didn t want to renew it, I didn t have to say anything. I told them I had previous experiences with companies that would try to continue to charge you without renewing and he said, no sir, we don t do things that way here. I also raised my suspicions to him about the services not being performed. He said, it shows in our system that they came and I said, well they didn t. And he said, I ll look into it and never responded again. Just bold face lies. So again, when the work was done, it was very effective. But, I don t appreciate being lied to about what services were being performed and then sent to collections to pay for something that I cancelled, I was told upfront that I didn t have to cancel, and that they weren t doing anyways. Pretty sure you can t charge for something that you didn t do, so that s a whole different story for a different webpage. I would avoid using these guys. Seem to have a good product, but it doesn t get done.

I have had lawn doctor for about 10 years. I can count on them giving me a heads up when they will arrive, and they are always on time. I have dogs and every time they have called me to let me know so I can keep them inside. They are good price for the service I have and always leave tips and needs for the lawn. They are responsive and have come out to check a couple problem areas no problem. Always good customer interaction and service.

L.D. lawn care applications results- fair to good. Weed patches still appear. Im never really sure that your machine applications reach all areas to be treated. Operators sometime apply fertilizers when lawn is wet and wheels skid leaving bare dirt areas and muddy skid marks.

The people at Lawn Doctor West Knoxville are always polite and respectful. They even follow up after a treatment to make sure that we are satisfied. If we do notice a renegade weed, a phone call results in quick action to retreat the problem. The lawn looks better than it ever has and also looks far better than the neighbors lawns that are hosed down by that so called Green company.

I have used Lawn Doctor for over 15 years, and I constantly get compliments from my neighbors and guests about the lawns appearance. Their fertilizer and weed control products are effective, and they reliably apply them at the correct time of year. I follow their advice for watering, I mow the fescue at 4, and I mulch the clippings back into the lawn to put some organic matter back into the hard red clay I started with. I believe Lawn Doctor offers good value for the services provided, and I have been very satisfied as a customer.

My lawn has shown great improvement since using lawn doctor. Excellent customer service. When I was using Tru Green I did not have the customer service and my lawn did not look as good. Lawn Doctor also cost me less than tru green so I am a great supporter of this company

They do a very good job with the fertilizing part but dont do the best with weed control. Between treatments Ill spray weeds as necessary with Weed Begone.

I was struggling with Milorganite on my own, but I wasn t as consistent as Jeremy and the boys. For about the same price I can have someone else do it, and my lawn look great. Just listen to their recommendations: cut the grass when it grows a third and water when the dry spells hit. I m walking barefoot in my grass now and love it. You might have to spot treat some weeds on you own. Overall, great customer service and promptly replies to inquiries and complaints.

We have used Lawn Doctor for 4 years and are very happy with them and their services. We had a concern approximately 3 years ago and the owner himself came out and explained the issue with our relatively new sod lawn (we were not watering it long enough each time to allow the water to go deep enough) and the change of watering for longer periods rectified the situation. Additionally, 2 years ago, when the army worms became widespread in our area Lawn Doctor was out to the house within a day of calling them and they took care of the lawn and quite frankly saved our 2 year old sodded lawn (while some neighbors lost their entire lawns). I would definitely recommend them.

Ive had two other companies provide service in the past, Lawn Doctor is by far the best. Very seldom do I need to call, they use a combo of liquid/granular which works so much better. When I have called always helpful, courteous and willing to get the job done.

Lawn Doctor was great to work with. Everything about their sales process was easy to understand and I never felt pressured by their staff. Their visits caused very minimal disruptions and were always on time. The results in our yard speak for themselves. Ive had many lawn care providers over the 20 years in this home, including DIY for a few seasons. I must say the lawn has never looked better. I get the sense some lawn treatment companies skimp on the products applied as a way to control costs, but results are also not as good. I have had Lawn Doctor for about a year and a half and am pleased with their service. They always call a day ahead to let me know so I can unlock our gate, they have responded well when I needed to contact them, and my lawn looks better than ever. It takes time to get a lawn in good shape when it wasnt to start with, but I am pleased with the progress. I recommend the aeration and overseeding in the fall, but you have to water a good bit for it to be effective. I would (and have) recommend(ed) their service to friends and family.

Lawn Doctor has truly changed my lawn. I could not be anymore pleased. Several people told me I had to plant sod to get the manicured lawn look, but that was not true. Once I started this service and waited patiently through the first season....I saw a miraculous difference. My lawn is thick, green and minimal weeds. I do not have irrigation and cannot water because I have a very large area. This being said, the conditions are not perfect for my lawn, but Lawn Doctor has truly made the difference in a really good looking lawn. I also use their mesquito service and it has been effective. I have a swimming pool, pond and a lot of trees. Not easy to treat mesquitos, but I have seen a tremendous difference all summer.

I was a returning customer and called Lawn Doctor of West Knoxville to get a lawn evaluation appointment. The receptionist was unprofessional and rude. I declined to proceed further with the booking.

Been treating my lawn for nearly a year. The difference in appearance and health now compared to when treatments began is clear. Very pleased with the results. Let me also say that Jeremy Cotter is first rate. Rather than coming out and doing all the talking like other salespeople, he listens. Yes, he listens. I told him what I wanted and what I expected. Based on that conversation, he told me what he could and couldnt do with my lawn, explained, step-by-step, how treatments worked, and told me what I should expect. In short, he did what he said he would do and the yard looks like he said it would. Whats better than that?

Our lawn is the envy of our neighbors. Before Lawn Doctor, our yard was weeds more than grass. After reviewing several lawn improvement companies, the positive reviews of Lawn Doctor prompted our call for help. Jeremy came to our rescue. They killed all our grass and weeds, killed the grub worms and waited a while to plant grass seed. We followed to the letter the instructions from Lawn Doctor and mowed and scalped the dead vegetation in preparation for their planting grass seed. Our neighbors were questioning our sanity... mowing dead grass. Several weeks later our lawn is a vibrant green and as one of our neighbors said it makes me smile , such a beautiful green . A friend introduced me to Lawn Doctor years ago. I called and a representative from there, met with me, I told him my concern and what exactly I was looking for! We have had other lawn care companies and were looking for another and called Jeremy Cotter, Lawn Doctor. We told what we wanted and after reviewing our lawn it was decided the best occurance would be to do nothing until fall. I told my wife I had a great day, because I met an honest man. He explained it all and when I questioned his lot size he showed me and it turns out others were shorting the size to get the business. I had called several services in the area for estimates to set up a lawn care program for my lawn. The responses were quite varied to say the least. One used high pressure used car salesman tactics, a couple were interesting, a few were no response, and one was Lawn Doctor of West Knoxville. Jeremy, from Lawn Doctor, did an good job assessing my lawn and taking the time to discuss a plan of action with options moving forward. As a prior reviewer stated, from a customer perspective, he does an awesome job! . I couldn t agree more. I also really appreciated, during the time before a decision was made as to who to go with, that he didn t repeatedly call me, as some others did. I look forward to see what a good lawn will look like after the Lawn Doctor team performs its services.

We have been customers with Lawn Doctor of West Knoxville for almost a year now and previously we used Lawn Doctor in Wisconsin. We are extremely happy with how our lawn looks. Yes, the initial cost is slightly higher, but of the 3 major such services, Lawn Doctor was the only one whose staff did not use a high pressure technique in an effort to get me signed on for service contract, which typically lasts for a year or more - one even showed up to start treatments after I had told them that I would not use their services due to the sales tactics they employed. IAt Lawn Doctor, Jeremy carefully and fully explained what each step and its purpose was, and explained the need for each particular treatment and how it improved the lawn slowly over time. Most impressive was his honesty in NOT selling me services that would not benefit the lawn unless other problems were first corrected, and this process is one requiring reason, forethought, and professional application. One must have patience awaiting the outcome, but even after getting an initial late season start, the services performed really showed a high level of improvement in my lawn, which endured throughout the following spring, and gave me a full, green, healthy lawn that withstood the heat of summer and dry of August and September - even now, it is a bit thinner, but green and healthy. I have subsequently followed Jeremys suggestions and will have the third aeration and overseeding this fall, along with plans for weed-pre-emergence treatment and fertilization of the lawn in the spring. I mentioned the cost: This is an honest and reliable service that is not intended to oversell the customer, but to give them the results them desire and that, over time, lowers the cost by reducing expenditures for pointless and unnecessary treatments - patience and trust are necessary, but will allow Jeremy and Lawn Doctor to bring your lawn to life.

Weve tried 2 other lawn services and neither compared to Lawn Doctor. Jeremy is so easy to work with and extremely knowledgeable regarding lawn care. We have been customers for two years and are very pleased. Our lawn has never looked better.
