Please watch the people who this company hires to cut your lawn while they are at your residence. They will steal from your property. I had my gasoline that I keep for my personal mower stolen out of my yard while I was home not watching them. They don’t care. They will take advantage of you. As you can see by the response this company is very unprofessional and does not care how they treat their customers. This review is not fake as you can see the company owner acknowledges that they recognize me as a customer. Please take your business elsewhere and give your money to an honest company.
Jim was very rude, talking over me, and loudly, just for asking questions, over the phone. The lady I care for is very ill and undergoing surgery soon, so she hasn't had her grass cut in a long time. I do everything for her and we haven't had any luck finding a lawn service, as they are all booked or don't do her area. The first Time I talked with Jim he seemed nice, then I called back to ask if it was possible for him to come after 2. Because my lady doesn't function till after that. He says we don't need to be here but she wants to be here. He got aggravated when I told him she had an appointment Wed and asked if he could come Thursday. Then tells me it's 75 bucks if she wants it mowed every 2 weeks and she said she wants to see how he does first bc ppl in the past has ruined her yard and he said SHES NOT GOING TO DO IT, I KNOW HER KIND. IT WILL BE 100 FOR ONE TIME SERVICE. I'm just the caregiver/middleman and he was rude to me so I cant imagine how he would have been to her if she would have called in.
Jim and Crew from JV Lawncare did a tremendous job at our home. I am looking forward to the rest of the projects that we have with them. As well as the maintenance. They do the work to the best of their ability, and the work is done very well! Keep it up guys!
I am very happy with JV Lawncare. I have a very large area to take care of that requires a lot of mowing and weed eating. John and his crew make quick work of it, it looks great and is very reasonable on price. I couldn't be happier that we chose JV Lawncare to take care of all of our yards needs.
Two weeks after quoting a great price to get the business, James text me and 10 of my neighbors that he needed to raise his prices by 67% because "the yards are bigger than I thought". He had come out to see the yards before quoting them and then proceeds to tell me that they are thick yards which requires blowing (also part of the service that was quoted). After some back and forth, he then proceeds to say he would be willing to do my yard for only a 33% increase because I had brought him so much business, but would need to increase the other neighbors. This bait and switch pricing is unethical and unprofessional. Be prepared to either help James run his business by confirming that he knows what he's getting into by doing his job or to be disappointed should you choose to use JV Lawn Care.
I contacted this company through its website, and James called me the same day. His company mowed my lawn the next day and did a fantastic job, going the extra mile to clean up a lawn that had become overgrown for a reasonable price. Would definitely use again. Pictures show before (rough shape) and after (good shape), albeit in different areas of the lawn.
Jim and his crew do awesome work and are able to take on the gambit of any yard work you need done and done right! We just started using JV Lawn Care this year and are very pleased with their mowing, weed control, leaf blowing (keeping the driveway spotless) and other services they offer. Jim is very timely with his responses and let's us know when he's headed over which is nice (since we have a dog). They're a great option for an all in one lawn care group! I was referred to JV Lawn Care for mowing the grass at my new place. Calling to schedule a time was very quick and easy; the availability was literally next day. Once the crew arrived they got everything done quickly and efficiently. Looking forward to future lawn care. Most of the communication was over text which is preferred for me, but also available over the phone. After a year with Jim I couldn t be happier! Very punctual and great communication on when they will mow and when other lawn maintenance needs done!

Got a quote last week and thought I was in good hands while I was on vacation. Got an excuse for a dead animal in my yard and some trash. I called St. John Lawn Care. They were there the next morning, and the trash and dead animal in my yard cleaned itself up. I asked, and they said none of that was there. Mind you, I was out of town from Sunday morning and didnt get back until Friday night. This was Tuesday, and they said my yard had trash and had a dead animal in it. So if you like excuses, this is the place for you. St. John Lawn Care has my business from now on.
We needed help with late fall lawn maintenance after having a newborn. JV Lawn Care was great- Fast and easy communication, quick turn around time, great job with our lawn care, and reasonably priced. We plan to use this service again in the spring.
