Daniel and team did a superb job of identifying and resolving rain drainage issues around our house. This involved identifying blockages and strategically re-routing water from the gutters. They did a very neat job and with reasonable pricing.

If I could give Southern Style Landscapers 10 stars I would Daniel and his crew were awesome. I hired him to put in a retaining wall in my front yard. Not only was his price fair, the work was impeccable and the detail and extras they put into the project just made my day. I rescue and foster dogs as well and have quite a few myself. I will post before and after shots. I had my front fence moved about 10' which exposed a hill of mud and clay that the dogs would have torn apart BUT no longer. Dan and his crew put in a beautiful retaining wall and the extra clean up and Paw print absolutely was phenomenal.. I have found landscapers whom I will keep... I love supporting a local business and one whom tries so hard to please customers and goes way beyond the extra mile..

We hired Southern Style Landscapes to create a walkway from our lower deck to our driveway gate. We weren't sure exactly what we wanted (other than steps, not a ramp) and Daniel happily collaborated on a great design. Once the design was agreed to, he and his team tackled it quickly, efficiently, and professionally. They were attentive to our schedule and property, checked with us frequently on the progress (and our satisfaction with such as they proceeded), and the end result was fantastic. We had Southern Style Landscaping do our backyard and they did great work! The starting point of where our yard was was a big mud pit. Daniel (owner) came through and we discussed the possibilities. I told him my max budget and he was able to get everything we discussed and came in under budget! His crew was super friendly and very thorough. I HIGHLY recommend these guys for any and all landscaping needs.

I sought out five bids on installing a new lawn and an irrigation system at my home in west Knoxville. There was great variance in the bids I received and also in the professionalism of those whose bids I sought. Two of the five bids were considerably under the others. Of the two I chose Southern Style Landscapes because of their competitive pricing, their professionalism, which was very much on display from the start, and their five star rating from those who had used them in the past. I’m happy to say that their five star rating was honestly earned. I couldn’t be more pleased with their work and follow through. Working with Daniel Letsinger, the owner of Southern Style Landscapes, was a pleasure. Daniel knows his business. He listens well, communicates clearly, and does what he says he’s going to do when he says he’s going to do it. I very much appreciated his counsel throughout the process, a process that went as planned and was largely problem free. Daniel and his crew came in and scraped away the problematical old lawn, leveled out the lot and dealt with some pesky erosion problems I was having, installed a fantastic irrigation system that works like a charm, and put down beautiful sod on the front, back and sides. In one week, we went from having the ugliest lot in the neighborhood to a showplace. I was so impressed with Daniel’s handiwork I asked him to add us to his lawn service. It gives me peace of mind knowing Southern Style Landscapes will henceforth be taking care of all my lawn needs. I can’t say enough about Daniel and his company. I recommend them highly.

When you work with Southern Style you will get the owner on your property working alongside his crew and family. They did an outstanding job for a fair price. We had the basic landscaping that was installed by our builder 15 years ago. There were issues with runoff, surface tree roots that prevented the grass from filling in etc. Daniel and crew came up with cost effective/attractive solutions for these issues. I also had them repair my irrigation system that had not been used in years. The back yard zone was previously dug up when we installed a patio. They installed a new zone in the back yard, tied it into the other zones, installed a new controller, tested the system, repaired various leaks and clogs, etc. Everything works now as designed. While dealing with the irrigation system we discovered that TDS Telecom had damaged my main waterline when they ran fiber into my neighborhood. The box they installed to terminate the drop crushed my water main on my side of the meter. Daniel and crew dug in the mud for several hours to cut out and replace the damaged pipe. He did this for way less than a plumber would have charged to come out and do the same job. Overall I am very pleased with this company. Daniel and his crew did a first rate job and were a joy to have around out home. The entire family pitched in to get the job done.
