Albemarle Landscapes absolutely transformed our property and actually understood our vision perfectly. They were punctual, polite, efficient and thorough. Albemarle Landscapes and Tree Services did an excellent job of trimming my trees away from my roof as well as other trimming. The crew worked continuously and when finished did a remarkable job of clean up. The yard was cleaner when they completed the job, than when they started. Thanks guys!

We have been using Albemarle Landscaping since we purchased our home in Corolla a couple of years ago. They cleared the property of overgrowth, leveled it with truckloads of fill, put in an irrigation system and sod, posts to protect our new septic field, fenced the back and landscaped our entire property. Everything was done to perfection and they came up with great design ideas and a beautiful and sturdy fence design. They also now take care of our lawn maintenance. Chase and his crew are outstanding. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to improve or care for their property.
Chase, George and his team are excellent as well as Kristie in the office. Their patience with our vision and quality of work is not matched in todays businesses as well as OBX in general. From debris/tree removal to our new irrigation system, palm trees installed and a general over haul of the entire property we can’t wait to sit back, relax and enjoy the newly created atmosphere. Cory and his team did a great job completely overhauling my backyard! They turned a barren wasteland into a cozy oasis. The stonework for the custom firepit is exquisite, and Cory even thought of creative ways to save money. The crew was polite, professional, arrived and left on time. I couldnt be more disappointed in this company. We spent $12,000 on sod in 2020 and signed up for yard service. The initial install went well (hence the two star review), but follow up service and communication was non-existent. We watched our new sod deteriorate and turn into mud. My wife called too many times to count to try and brainstorm solutions and ask for help. That is the whole point of hiring a landscaping company right? Ultimately it was decided we needed to trim trees to let in light. We agreed and signed contracts. We were told last fall we would get top priority due to the issues and they were sorry. Here we are in May and after several direct phone calls we are now being told they will get to us in June for the promised tree work. No thank you
Corey and his crew did an amazing job installing a large paver patio around a new pool.The attention to detail was outstanding. The project was completed on time and on budget. Great customer communication throughout the project. They also are a very good reliable weekly lawn service and do fantastic tree work. I would give 10 stars if I could!
This is now an Edited response to my prior review. After receiving direct communication on my situation, things went much better. I cannot in good conscience take a 1 star all the way back to 5 and say everythings perfect, but everything I needed done is now done, I received accurate communication and info, the owners personal crew came and did the work very well and reviewed each item with me as they went through and completed it. I would definitely use this service provider again for the remaining yard work we are looking at in the future.
Great service, fair prices, crew did an excellent tree removal and trimming job, and cleaned up after they were done.
I was very impressed with their work! When I got home the the yard was clean, my driveway had been swept off and it was just left in the best possible manner that they could have done it. They went above and beyond and I really appreciated the attention to detail. Great job!

What a ripoff! They came out, looked at our property and said what we wanted done ..should be a full days job... and then quoted a price of $2400.00. I thought it was very high and told them so but in the end I reluctantly agreed to let them do it. They came out, did a good job and left in less than 3 hours - I asked for some concession as part of the reason I reluctantly agreed was that it was to be a full days work. They declined offer a payment plan. Over $800. per hour is highway robbery in my opinion so I strongly suggest doing your homework (as I did not, get a number of quotes) before you hire these people. In your response you said you did reduce your quote but you failed to say it was - from $2500 to $2400 - big deal. I did not want a payment plan I wanted a fair price! In the contract I signed there was, as you say no mention of how long the job would take - but ask your employee if he told my wife ... this is pretty much a full day job.. Then you come in and are done in LESS THAN 3 HOURS - or $800 per hour. Not good, not fair.
Albemarle did a great job of removing a very large, very tall oak tree that was only 10 feet off our deck. Due to fences (see pic), adjoining properties, and proximity of the tree to the house and deck, had to crane it over top of house. Had the right equipment to remove it from site and grind down the stump. Considering the complexity of the job more than fair price.
Removed about 13 huge pines from around our house. Albemarle Landscapes personnel are very knowledgeable, professional, and honest. Additionally they have the equipment to tackle any size job. I would strongly recommend Chase Patterson/ Albemarle Landscapes to anyone in need of these services. Definitely a 5 star company!

Chase, Will, Travis, Eddie and another fellow (I Dont recall his name) did a super job trimming the perimeter of our heavily forested lot (live oakes). Our friend at Compass Edge referred us to Chase & crew, and Dave is right on -- Recommend the crew highly!!

Albemarle Landscapes & Tree service has taken care of our yard for over 6 years. We have retained them for Spring & Fall cleanup as well as monthly trimming, weed control & clean up during the summer season. Additionally, any extra care that the landscaping may need during the year is just a call away! The crew does a great job & is extremely reliable. The tree service is also top notch. The crew is knowledgeable, with an eye to aesthetics. Meticulous cleanup. Chase Patterson & wife Lindsey run a well oiled machine that can be counted on to deliver!
Took care of all my storm related tree damages from Matthew and did a great job in a timely manner. Answered all my questions and stayed in contact with me through entire process, both by phone and email. Made very helpful suggestions. Thank you Chase and Lindsey for your service. Chase even brought my dogs home when he saw them on a walkabout in the Village and knew they shouldnt be loose.
