We cannot express how happy we are with the porch and backyard patio Soares Landscaping recently completed at our house. Their work is excellent. Carlos and his team was so dedicated to making sure that the project was exactly what we wanted. It’s more than we imagined. Michael came to our home numerous times to ensure we were happy with the materials chosen . Soares Landscapibg left quite an impression on us and our neighbours . This team recognized that the work might interrupt our neighbours so they left a door knob sign excusing the work that would be taking place. This is beyond customer service!!! We interviewed many landscapers and as soon as we met, Michael and Carlos the decision was immediately a yes. We highly recommend Soares Landscaping no matter how big or small your project, you will not be disappointed.
These guys are amazing at what they do. Always reliable which is a quality not found in many contractors today. Price was right and quality was incredible. Thanks soares contracting for delivering on my driveway extension in a timely manner.
We hired Soares to complete our landscaping after we had a pool, patio and deck installed. They did new levelling, new soil and sod for our entire front and back, built a retaining wall, and solved a significant drainage problem we had in a low spot through re-levelling and building and rock garden there - no more water-pooling and it looks great. As well, some accent garden beds and cleanup of existing beds. 3 things really stood out for us: 1) their attention to detail from the initial consultation through to the end of the project was second-to-none; 2) the crew of Carlos and Mitch were professional and just very nice to work with - btw thanks Carlos for the vegetables from your farm!; and 3) the quality of the finished product was at a very high level. I don’t hesitate to recommend Soares!
We contacted Michael at Soares Landscaping because we wanted our backyard to feel more functional and spacious. After speaking with him, he came to take measurements, ensure our plan was possible, and informed us of any issues that may arise and how we may need to remedy them. The new patio and yard look fantastic. Michael and Carlos are very trustworthy people, and their communication about the project both before and during was great. We will be using them again for future projects.
Finally, we found a company that gives realistic ideas and quotes and then actually delivers. The work was precise and flawless. They showed up on time, worked very efficiently, were so polite and knowledgeable and genuinely care about workmanship and quality. We had some stray ivy removed, mulch laid down on a previously landscaped area with plantings, which they carefully navigated and then a river rock edging put in to line the property where it meets the sidewalk. It's all very professional and great looking. We have had several compliments from our neighbours walking past also. Will definitely continue to work with Soares.
We were extremely happy with the work Soares Landscaping completed for us. From the very beginning, Michael was very professional and punctual. He listened to what we wanted to achieve with our backyard, and the end result was impressive. We were also impressed with the hard work that was put in every single day by Carlos and his team. We have enjoyed our backyard every single day and get so much more use out of our space. Friends who have visited even have said it "looks like a resort" and is "straight out of a magazine". My wife and I had Soares Landscaping add a brick walkway/driveway extension and new stone steps to our house in May 2019 and we are very pleased with their work. They were professional and punctual and the workmanship was excellent. They dug down a deep foundation which has held up well in the 12 months since it was done. We have parked a vehicle on it nearly every day since then and there are no signs of sinking bricks or uneven wear. Shoveling and deicing over the winter was easy. Michael was easy to get a hold of and always responded to us when we called him. Soares gets a strong recommendation from us. Brick product is Techo Block from Creative Landscaping in St Jacobs.
Soares was referred to me by a customer service rep at Greenhorizons Sod Farms in Cambridge. After visiting the Soares website I E-mailed them digital photos of my front and backyard areas that required landscaping. Michael contacted me and we discussed some landscaping options, and he offered great suggestions which were appropriated to my property, my lifestyle, and my skill level. After agreeing on a plan he followed up with a professional schematic diagram detailing the types of plants and trees with their specific locations on the property. The work was done in a professional and timely fashion and exceeded my expectations. Their work completely took my property to the next level and now I enjoy it more than ever and feel a greater sense of pride. Carlos was very knowledgeable and 1st rate. He was very friendly, approachable and performed great work. He went above and beyond my expectations. The education I received from Soares Landscaping to maintain and manage my new lovely landscaped property was very important to me. Going forward I feel confident I can maintain my new gardens and if I have a problem or question Soares is always there to take my call. Four years ago Carlos completely redesigned my yard. This year grubs infested and ruined the grass. I called Carlos and he removed the weeds, dug out the underlying earth, replaced it and sodded the yard. As before, he did a great job. Carlos, thank you so much. Michael did a fine job keeping in touch prior to our one day project and was open for questions throughout the process. Carlos and his colleague were prompt and freshened up our old front gardens in only six hours. He was very patient and accommodating to my requests during the day. Helpful suggestions were given on maintenance and which type of plants and trees could be added at a future date. We were very pleased with the experience and would recommend Soares Landscaping to anyone whos ready for a landscaping make-over.

My husband and I hired Soares to completely redo our landscape; lawn, gardens, deck, pool, hardscape, etc etc. The biggest compliment I think we could give them is this: prior to hiring them we didnt really see a whole lot of value in hiring designers (but decided it was worth it for a larger project). After working with them, we will DEFINITELY be hiring designers for other renovations. They had so many great ideas and their designs are top notch. Their quality of work is second to none (not many contractors treat your home as if its their own), and theyre great people. Highly recommended!

This is a long overdue comment about the great work these guys do. We were looking to get new sod for our front yard for an event in late May. I called all over town to find someone with no luck. Carlos called me back; reviewed the job and completed it in one day knowing our timeline (leveling the front yard; new top soil; fertilizer; new sod and finishing). Looks fantastic cant thank them enough for their great work; excellent workmanship and fair price. Next time Im just calling here because I know what I will get - they know what they are doing!!

The company did an absolutely great job with the snow removal at my rental property. They were there early in the morning clearing the snow which allowed my tenants to be able to get to work on time. Great company and absolute pleasure dealing with them.
Great experience, snow was always promptly removed, salt added appropriately and usually done before 9 am. A few times the municipality came and did the roads afterwards and blocked our driveway, we called Soares and they came back and took care of it. Much appreciated guys!

Ive been using Soares Landscaping for two years for snow plowing and winter maintenance. They always do quality work and on time. I was very pleased when they plowed my property on April 15th, the last day of our contract, after that messy weekend when winter put up the last fight. I recommend them.
