I just started using massey this year, so far the customer service has been great and all the sales people i have met have been friendly and professional, this includes Daren, nick and pierre. As far as my grass is concerned it's still to early to tell. Let's turn that 4 🌟 to a 5 🌟.
Paid for one time fee of $180 to have one sprinkler head capped, one raised and all correctly aimed to best cover my lawn. Showed up not on appointment day did nothing but dig up irrigation that was to be capped. Nothing done at all. Left my irrigation off at the controls. Fast forward one tree removed that David the manager of irrigation department recommended so that the roots weren’t blocking his reach and said tree was diseased. Come to find out 48 days later my Irrigation was never turned on. I found this out by the termite inspection free termite inspection that I assumed was the Irrigation Department as I had called them and asked them why was the $180 went through on December 19 when the job wasn’t even started let alone completed. No word no communication not a phone call not an email. Not even a knock on the door. My camera’s show this. Ruined my lawn and now my irrigation. Fast forward again, February 21. They finally show up after two weeks of not communicating to me and I’m told they’re waiting for a part. This is the story that I got so two weeks later I call and am told I will get a call back maybe that day. Then surprise David and Justin immediately show up with a magical invisible part. Why do I say it like that? It’s because I never saw it and there was no communication and they’re never is and when there is, it’s all excuses and actual lies. David and Justin get to work supposedly doing everything that was supposed to be completed last year in December. Well, again they didn’t do as they were hired to do but informed their company that they completed the job but nothing reported to me. No videos no nothing. In fact they left the irrigation completely off telling me after I called February 26 that the front still doesn’t work not his fault and the other sections do and we’re adjusted, one called and the two they raised above ground lowered and one raised that was the the original job. Irrigation damaged he’s the only one who touched it. He never knocked on the door. Yes, I was home. Yes, I spoke to Justin. Irrigation worked before they showed up. Only was using lawn dept. so I went with Massy irrigation. David went as far as to say it never worked and I’m so peeved. Not all of the heads are working. Don’t waste your money or let them on your property. So my new sod placed is dead now having spent money to remove a tree David said to do for reasons given above he now uses that as an excuse why the irrigation won’t work after he shut the front section off and told me it was to save money as it was gushing out onto the street and the front lawn doesn’t have enough pressure anyways wouldn’t make a difference to the lawn. False that sprinkler in the front that I wanted it capped had been like that, and my Lawn was doing fine. David shut it off didn’t tell me it had been off for 45 days. I have it on only one to two days early in the morning. After my conversation with David and my last conversation, he then said that my irrigation in the front never worked after he said it was damaged by the bushes being removed. He also said that it had the wrong wires and they weren’t waterproof. Then he says again another story that the wires were disconnected. All this after Massy employees David and Justin came onto my property and damaged my irrigation system Beware. The service was for December 19 nothing was done but damages. And the last conversation with David was February 26. I’m left with debt for MASSEY MESS and the cost to fix their MESS I’m left with. The damages to the front irrigation system David claims many reasons for it not working. Even to the point to say it never worked which that’s false. I have cameras that I now check and my water bill. So nothing positive was accomplished with the last conversation February 26,2024. The general manager is Gabriel. I have no idea what he actually does because he’s apparently never there and doesn’t reach out when there are problems. Clearly, this is a Massey mess and it’s what you take a chance on receiving for your hard earned wages.
Just received my first lawn treatment. I am excited to see improvement. It was easy to get immediate service and the service manager explained everything in detail. I will revisit this posting in a few months and let you know the progress of my lawn.
Had an irrigation system installed by Massey about a year ago. Initially they promised so much and unfortunately they did not deliver. From their sales guy to their install and maintenance techs, they all failed to do their job. The irrigation system has had issues since day one and we are still waiting on someone to fix it. We also signed up for their "maintenance program" and the tech that comes out, turns on sprinkler system by zones but doesn't even walk around the house to see if the system is working properly. Our security cameras have caught him doing just that, more than once. We basically gift the company $70 dollars each time they come out. We are tired of asking them to perform a job we have already paid for. Go with another company that actually cares about the quality of their service and that has the man power to actually execute complex jobs in an efficient and proper manner.
The people that I talk to at Massey were very good helping me resolve my issue. However, they scheduled a day and time to come and fix a sprinkler head. However, they did not show up nor call at the appointed time. When I called the office they did send somebody out And did repair the sprinkler head.
If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. We were having some lawn issues and decided to reach out to Massey to assist us with treatments. The sales person was very kind and seemed knowledgeable and we felt good about the money we were putting down. Little did we know, we were flushing that money down the toilet. We told them to please notify us prior to coming out so we can make sure our gates were unlocked. When the guy came out to the house, he never called. Instead he put a sign on our lawn and sent us an invoice for yard treatment. After many attempts to try and get ahold of someone to ask what was going on and why we got an invoice for him only doing half the lawn (gates were locked and we were at work when he came) it was almost impossible to get in touch with someone. Finally someone called my husband explaining that they will come back out to finish the job they charged us for and THEY NEVER SHOWED UP FOR THE SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT!! At this point we were so frustrated with the quality of care that we cancelled the service. They never refunded us the money on the job they tried to pull off as doing AND CHARGED US ANOTHER MONTH for not cancelling within a certain point of time. Called and complained and an operator of some sort stated they would have a manager contact us and they never did. We ended up going with a competitor and couldn’t be happier. Terrible customer service.
I acquired their service for the year of 2021 - 2022 and received substandard care for my lawn at best. The Technician would arrive to my home post a sign that my lawn was treated and weeds were still present in many areas days later or created brown patches where my grass was killed. My grass never ever was a pretty green, it was consistently brown in many areas. They recommended an evaluation of my Irrigation sys which i did & they attempted to charge for services not rendered. My concerns explained to the CSR or their management team were ignored & never truly addressed even to this day. Treated my yard the day before Hurricane Ian hit, not sure what sense that made. Very disappointing considering services were paid a yr in advance. I would not recommend Massey to anyone and my services were canceled. Please beware.
Extremely frustrating and poor services. I've been trying to reach their on-call personnel through the answering services. Three attempts and almost an hour and a half and all they can do is leave voicemails because of no answer. Sure, that person is probably working on another property right? They called the back up, the manager, and no answer either. It took over a month for them to come and ATTEMPT to repair 'low pressures,' with no success. They were supposed to return the following day but there was no return or calls either. Instead, I am left with a new leak, a flood in my yard, and no one available to even assess the problem. I did not have this problem prior to their attempt to 'fix my system.' I paid for service and instead have a new problem. I pay for 3 different services with Massey, sprinkler/ irrigation service is fairly new for me. But frankly, I have had challenges with all the services, more so in the past couple of months and have to wonder what's going on.
hire them if you want to pay for the visits that never happened.
ZERO STARS!!! DONT EVER USE THIS COMPANY. They will try to charge you for visits that never occurred and sell you services that they dont even support or provide. It goes all the way up into general management. Theyre FRAUDS.
The GM Dean refuses to keep to his word. I have been lied to left and right. No one knows whats going on, and unfortunately I keep paying for no service. Im told that Dean will call me to find a resolution. We will see, but I doubt he will. Planning on canceling after that call. Luv a lawn Im sure would treat me better than this
It was scheduled within 3 days and it was repaired quickly.

Again true entrepreneurs doing what they love doing what they do getting the job done right the first time these guys were great my friends and I strongly encourage all to seek them out for your everyday lawn needs excellent customer service skills I highly recommend to all.
I have been a long time customer of Massey GreenUp Lawn Services. They are very commendable and professional and very easy to work with especially the General Manager Gabriel Cuesta who goes over and beyond to get the job done right. I highly recommend their services.
The Kissimmee Massey location has just went downhill lately when it comes to service or getting anyone to answer the phone or follow up on services that were promised. Ive been with Massey for 10+ years for all 4 services Green Up, Pest, Termite & Irrigation. Losing me as a customer wont make a dent but its unfortunate the great service you use to have.
I had problems with a Massey Irrigation repair, Aurelia sent Terry Keyzer. He was knowledgeable and honest. The problem was a loose wire in the controller panel. Terry also explained that the problem that I was having with my tree was because I was using RoundUp 365 too near the tree I was worried about. Terry has restored my faith in Massey Services. I will continue to use them in the future. Thank you to Terry.
