Edit: Troy reached out a few hours after my review to say the estimate went out when it should have. Unfortunately I didn't have anything from him. He was courteous and prompt. Shortly after that, I received the estimate right to my inbox. Since he was very concerned with rectifying the situation, I've changed my rating. I wish it was possible to see whatever it was that was convincing him that the estimate went out in the spring, but it is what it is. Best of luck to you Troy, I know you're going to have lots of work and happy customers like the reviews you have here! Must have slipped between the cracks. Troy came by, checked out my backyard, took measurements, and discussed a few options for grass alternative. He seemed like a nice guy and I was excited. That was mid-April. I even told him if I liked his work, I had other jobs we could discuss like tiling, flooring, and drywall I had on my list to complete in the next 5 years or so. After more than a week of waiting for his backyard quote, I texted asking if he was waiting on me somehow. He said nope just busy, get it to you ASAP. I wish he'd have just told me it wouldn't be happening but oh well, I'll find someone else to do it next Spring.
We had T&J Lawn Care and Snow Removal out today to do a large garden cleanup (trimming bushes, cutting out quite a few evergreens, stump and yard waste removal). Troy was very responsive via email to get things set up, and both he and Kevin did a fantastic job in a very timely and professional manner! We are super pleased with the results and look forward to continuing to utilize their services for our landscaping and yard renovations in the future!
We are super happy with our new interlock driveway and walkway. The level of service provided by Troy and his team is very high. Communication was excellent, all the tradespeople were skilled and hard working, and the job was done on time and with a reasonable cost. They pay attention to detail and work with you to ensure you are satisfied with the job. We would definitely recommend working with this company!
Great place to get your landscaping supplies. It may not seem like the biggest spot, but it delivers. Troy and staff are great to deal with. Reasonable prices and terrific supplies. I bought some sand which did the trick and will be going back for other stuff. If you haven't stopped in, then you should. Clean and tidy yard and perfect to manage any size truck around.
I can't say enough great things about the service and quality we have received from T&K Lawn Care and Snow Removal services Inc. Troy, Phil, Kevin, and the T&J team have now completed some major backyard renovations for us over the past two spring/summer seasons. We have been immensely impressed by the company's responsiveness (email, phone; questions big or small) and transparency. Regarding the latter, they are up front and communicative about pricing, about options regarding materials and other key components of the build, and were very quick to fill us in on any anticipated changes in timeline etc. Anyone tied to T&J (including subcontractors etc) have been very professional. We have two active children under 5 who are especially curious about the equipment that has been in and out of the backyard - to their endless credit, all crew members were very patient with our family and kind in their exchanges with our kids. The caliber of the work has exceeded our expectations. We had a fence built that transformed the appearance of the backyard, and the new multi-purpose shed that was custom built meets or exceeds our needs in every way. Kevin single-handedly demolished and built a fabulous-looking deck in a week flat (see photos). Ultimately, we are going to find ways to keep working with T&J in the future. They will be our go-to contractor because our experience has been absolutely first-rate. Hire them - you will not regret doing so !
Wonderful service. Friendly, responsive, affordable and my goodness were they fast! Got 4 yards of topsoil to fix our yard, with delivery and tax it was just under $200. Called at 930 had soil by 1130. Very happy! Pictured is 4 yards of dirt (baby for size reference). Thanks guys!!
Troy and his team provided outstanding lawn care and maintenance while I was deployed overseas on a military deployment. (His team also built an fence on my property during the same time period) All services provided by T&J Lawn Care were completed professionally, and invoicing was provided in a timely manner. Troy and his team were professional from the time he gave the quote until the service was completed. He and his team arrived early and worked diligently until the job was complete. Their work was of the highest craftsmanship and they transformed our outdoor space to be kid-friendly. These guys are awesome. They were clearing my neighbour across the street while I was out struggling with my tiny shovel against a two-foot, packed snow bank at the end of my driveway. With out saying a word, they took a snow blower to my huge pile and cleared it in two minutes! Saved me an hour and my back! Thanks to the crew who worked on Rose Abbey Dr on Feb 16!
Since retiring, my husband and I spent our time creating and maintaining gardens around our home. Every year we seemed to agree we needed more. We were able to keep it up, despite our advancing age, but since my husbands death last year, it has become too much for me. I contacted Troy last month and, lucky for me, he responded and agreed to do a spring clean-up, edging and weeding. I was impressed with his rapid response and that he kept in touch and assured me that once the rain stopped and the weather warmed up, his team would be here. Leah arrived as promised and spent the day in the front yard, working steadily over the next 8 hours. She returned the following day - with a helper - and completed all the gardens in the backyard. My gardens look amazing, better than they have for quite some time. Now that the hard work is done, I should be able to keep up with the weeding over the summer. You can bet that I will be calling on Troy and his team next spring and for any other gardening needs that may crop up in the meantime.

Troy and his team were fantastic. He was knowledgeable, experienced and very professional. They Poured a basements concrete slab walkout patio to generate more usable outdoor living space and it looks great. All of the associated prep work and clean up was taken care of in a timely manner. Troy is a man of his word and kept things on budget, on time. I will use his services in the future.

When the responsibility of owning my home solo fell upon me I was particularly overwhelmed at the thought of maintaining my lawn. I have a corner lot and its huge. Im also so busy that I cant imagine being out in the hot sun, which I hate, ruining my currently lovely lawn. I can not....CAN NOT...emphasize with enough enthusiasm how incredible Troy and his team are! Seriously, dudes saved my life. Im surprised how such young men can be so professional. There are other projects that they did for me as well, my shrubbery will be done soon, and the entire overhaul of my back walkway. Its now beautiful!!! It got quite comical how much of a perfectionist that Troy is. I think he wouldve hunted down the neighbourhood squirrels to interrogate which one left the acorn on the new cement pad if I gave the authority. Troy and his team are true professionals. For the last two years they have maintained our cottage property on Howe Island with dependability and excellence. Impediments such as high water and ferry delays do have not interfered with their reliability. Troy is very communicative and responsive which I particularly appreciate living at a distance.
