I was disappointed in the management of Lawn Doctor. The fertilization plan I signed up for was 3 service visits at 6 week intervals. The last visit was 2 weeks after the second with leaves all over the ground. Spreading fertilizer on leaves makes no sense. I got an email notice of this third service and called immediately to reschedule a time after leaves are removed, left a number of messages and never got a call back to reschedule. I will not be using Lawn Doctor again.
Lawn doctor saved my lawn. Have been using their service for years now. When I first bought my home over 24 years ago, grubs had taken over and the grass looked like hay. I tried over the counter products, but didn't have right combination or amount to treat the problem. Andy set up service and the timing and type of service revived my lawn. I have beautiful,, thick grass. The techs do a good job, friendly and professional. Some of the products have strong odor that can be covered up. I water the area to disperse the products. I have a happy, healthy lawn
We've used Lawn Doctor for many years, and our lawn is always green and beautiful. This year we began using them for tick and mosquito treatment as well, and we've been very pleased. I strongly recommend Lawn Doctor of Kingston.

They are consistent in not only providing the scheduled servicings as contracted BUT much more than that, Craig and Andy are always most responsive if any issues ever arise. That go the extra mile to “ keep the customer happy”. In the times in which we live, that is a rare occurrence. I highly recommend these individuals and the services they perform!!!!!!

As the result of construction my lawn was destroyed around the entire home. I had for years used Natural Fertilizers and because of my guessing was rewarded with moderate results. I asked my Landscape Architect who he would recommend. Lawn Doctor, was his response. So I followed his advise, I called they are terrific. My lawn has never looked as good, its green and lush and thick everywhere around my home. I receive compliments all the time. I will continue their services and enjoy every minute of their success. Was a customer for two years. Lawn service didn t work- constant crabgrass and weeds. Pest service also didn t work- no decrease at all in mosquitos and ticks. Overpriced service as well. Do not recommend.

The Lawn Doctor website needs help. Its not well designed or intuitive. It also doesnt outline when services are to be performed and they dont advise of upcoming services via text.

This is my second year with Law Doctor of Kingston and I am very pleased with the result. It was basically a yard full of weeds before they treated my lawn. The company that has cut and trimmed my yard for many years said it has never looked this good.

This is my second consecutive year using The Lawn Doctor. My lawn was a disaster, to put it bluntly. Other than the influence of nature, such as prolonged heat and drought which may temporarily cause parts of the lawn to become dormant, I am very happy with the service and the amazing results that Lawn Doctor provides. My lawn is now practically weed free and healthy. I am also impressed with the timing of the applications. If something needs to be watered in, Lawn Doctor almost always applies it before an expected rain. Another thing I appreciate is that they inform you of other services, besides the basic contract, such as HydraGuard, Lime, etc. that may benefit your lawn. It is up to you to choose the service and there is no pressure. I am a satisfied customer and plan to continue my service with Lawn Doctor. 5/19/22 I signed on for another season with the Lawn Doctor and expect the same positive results as in prior years. I guess the highest compliment to a business is to continue to use their services!

This is our second season using Lawn Doctor of Kingston to fertilize and apply weed control to the lawn. Our lawn occupies several acres, so this is a significant investment. As of May 1st, the lawn looks great. Its much greener and plush when compared to the other lawns in our neighborhood. There are many factors to have a beautiful lawn and the scheduled applications by Lawn Doctor plays an critical role. I would not hesitate to consult with them if you are interested in having a beautiful lawn.

I was so happy with Lawn Doctor when I lived in NJ. Their power seeding is great because they have power seeding which pushes seed into the ground. I used them for residential and commercial sites. I moved to Ulster County NY last year and had them power seed. Andy, the manager has poor customer service skills. He indicated that he would come out prior to seeding and never did this. I had removed shrubs from our property line and the area had fresh dirt for seeding yet they seeded about 1 1/2 feet inside the property line. When I complained, Andy blamed it on me that I didnt tell them that our property line was on an angle (there were survey markers). He said that they were done seeding in our area so couldnt return to finish the job. I cancelled my service and spoke to the owner who said that I should talk to him this fall about seeding the area that was missed. When I called to schedule this, in addition to seeding an area of the lawn that was damaged during installation of a front walk, I left two messages for the owner that were not returned. I then called Andy to schedule the service. He indicated that my account said that I kicked them off of my property and told them never to come back (he obviously made this up because he didnt want to deal with the issue). When I indicated that that wasnt accurate he said that he had too much work and was behind due to the weather and would not seed my property. TruGreen (Albany) has been fertilizing my lawn this year and has been great.

We have been using Lawn Doctor fro over 5 years. I was doing lawn care myself but discovered that doing it myself was almost the same cost as having the lawn doctor do it, never my the time it took. They are doing an excellent job of taking care of my grass as it has never looked better.

I ve used LawnDoctor for about twenty years. I m completely satisfied with their service! About four years ago, I did have a problem with moles. When I called Andy to notify him, he said that a number of his customers in my town were experiencing the same problem. They came out and applied a special treatment and then increased the grub control on future applications. The following year I had no problems, and haven t had a problem since! I would definitely recommend the LawnDoctor!!
Ive been using Lawn Doctor for several years and my lawn looks full, vibrant, and feels like carpet under my feet. I am very happy with their services. Despite the pandemic causing issues with service times, they still did a fantastic job.
We are very happy with the product and service. Our pnly complaint is the technican that was here today walks too fast when applying the product. It gets on our driveway and doesnt seem to be getting up against the back of the house. The technican that was here previously walked at a better pace and took his time.

Being ignored in asking to have Greg come to my home so I could speak to him And have him give me advice on the lawn. That was 4 times last year. I also made a note of it this year when I signed up for service. Needless too say,I was disappinted. In the past, it was never like that.

We found many bare spots in our front lawn this spring after being treated all of last year. The back yard is much better. But, were finding white grubs on the fringes as we plant flowers and a few vegetables. Disappointing!
The employee came into our long village garden on his four wheel vehicle, which spreads the fertilizer and insecticide, and drove around the garden at a very fast speed on a wet lawn causing the wheels to spin and burn the lawn. He drove the vehicle as though it was a go-kart. We now have a brown trail the length of the garden. Video and photos available. A great start to the 4th July weekend!

What an awesome company! Brandon brought life to grandmothers lawn theres nothing my grandma loves more than sitting out in a nice lawn during the summer time! Not only is he respectful but hes handsome and has a great smile! I would recommend Lawn Doctor ten times around!
I was impressed by the promptness of the owner coming and measuring my yard and giving a fair price for the work. I never thought it would make my yard look so good within a single season! They give good watering tips and I followed them (so you should too!). This is worth it after battling weeds and bare spots for years.

Problem is I had to call or chase them down to finish and do the whole yard every time ..I left messages telling them they didnt do the whole lawn..then when I called and got someone he got nasty with me saying how was he supposed to know they didnt finish.. All the messages is how...other than that yard looked good but not using again

We have been customers for three years now and cant get over how great our lawn looks. A big bald patch that we could never get to fill in is now completely gown in. The service is great, the payment options easy to work with and the service technicians very pleasant and respectful.
I have found Lawn Doctor to be a reliable lawn service provider. I never worry that my lawn needs will not be met. There was a time when our lawn had to be excavated to repair an electrical line. This left an ugly strip right in the center of our lawn. Lawn Doctor repaired the strip and soon there was no evidence that any damage had been done. There was a day when an application was provided when it was raining and I felt that the application was voided because of the rain. But that was one time so no big deal. I never hesitate to renew my contract with them.
Lawn Doctor of Kingston always takes good care of my lawn. It is looking great. They are easy to work with and always available to answer my questions. I would highly recommend them.
