Good service, just harder access because they are on a very busy street.
Nice staff, good product terrible delivery service. My bad for not asking in the before hand but charged me around 130 for delivery and 30 to split my load for 11/12 kms North of their location. None of that makes sense and is down right wrong! Buying dirt hurts to begin with & that made it much worse! I won't be using them again.

Yet another great way to get stoned…rocks from Marshalls! Had some river stones and mulch delivered by a couple super friendly guys. Had to pick up my geofabric the next day and the guy at the counter remembered me! Prices were WAY better than a big box store and they can basically arrange next day delivery. Highly recommend!
I have never bought from this place but my father's funeral was across the street at James Reid. When the ushers came out to stop traffic EVERY employee came to the street removed their hats and showed respect to my father who they never met. This business has some outstanding human beings with nothing but class. This will always be in my memory and will always refer friends and family to them. Thank you to the employees at Marshalls.
Friendly staff! Quick to load me up with whatever I needed. Made sure I got my contractor discount. Will definitely be returning again and again Pics are the mulch we got from them!
Worst customer service and delivery practices, expect them to dump your delivery on your driveway without communication.
Today April 28 I saw the most incredible show of respect from your employees! As my brother-in-laws funeral passed by the yard, all of your employees removed their hats and stood still. Thanks You from our family

I own a landscape company here in Kingston. Been getting all my landscape supplies from Pykes since I opened. Top quality products, guys are super friendly and helpful and always deliver on time even when I call last minute. Ill be returning again this year looking forward to another great summer working with you guys.
Awesome place!!!! Very friendly and great quality. I made the mistake of ordering somewhere else and was shorted. Pykes are a little more money, but you get what you pay for. When you order 6 yards, you get that and more. Will buy all my future landscape supplies here.

It depends on what your looking for, purchased 2 yards of soil specific for our garden, was told.it is perfect for strawberries, very disappointed, no where near what they said, have to feed the plants and dries out far to fast, itll be December for anythings ready to pick, no nutrients at all.
Their lawn Premium Topsoil is full of crabgrass. I had almost literally no weed in my lawn. I decided to add topsoil since I had never done it in the past. The sales team was efficient and courteous. They delivered the soil on time; hence the two stars. Unfortunately, their premium grade topsoil has a lot of weed, specifically crabgrass. How do I know for sure? Because I made a mistake and I didint order enough to cover my entire yard, so the areas where I added the top soil is now covered with crabgrass and the areas where I didnt add any topsoil has no crabgrass. Cant get more conclusive than that. I ordered based on the reviews on google, but now Im not sure they are reliable.
We got topsoil and mulch from them earlier this year and we were quite happy. Already making plans for next season.

I have been going here for a few years now for any crushed stone or dirt I need for home projects. They also have a nice selection of mulch to choose from too. The customer service here is fantastic and the prices are great as well. Talk to them about what you need and they can give you some advice.
They were polite and helpful on the phone. They took my order/payment via phone, delivered quickly and met their own deadline. Perfect experience. The compost we purchased is QUALITY.

Great service - they actually had a live person (one of the owners) answering the phone. That impressed me because the other guys had an answering machine and never got back to me. Delivery happened within 24 hours of my call. I would definitely use Pyke Farms again.
