I met Charlotte and Joey the owners of East End Trees and Nursery at their Nursery in Kings Park yesterday. Both were very knowledgeable and helpful and pleasant to deal with. It s nice to see our local youth as Entrepreneurs! Thanks for your patience and kindness.

New owners Nicky and Joey were extremely helpful and professional. Every thing they picked out was amazing. Not the standard stuff other landscapers use. Highly recommend them.

Nicky and Joey are great, they helped me with getting arbor vitaes to line my yard. They offered some options and walked me through the best arrangement for my needs. Looking forward to working with them again this spring.

Excellent choice of plants ! Great sale going on! The staff was very knowledgeable and professional! I bought three beautiful Hydrangea plants and the owner (a landscape designer) gave excellent advice on how to care for them as all Hydrangeas are a little different when it comes to growing them ! Joey, Nick and the rest of the team at East End run one of the most authentic landscape design and planting businesses on the North Shore. In my 7th year as a homeowner they made my first significant landscape overhaul approachable, refreshing and motivating. I was at our local fitness facility. Normally I don t talk too much to the rest of the members as it is 5AM and we all understand what everyone is there to accomplish. I was trying to keep a schedule and routine. That being said, every once in a while some quick lockerroom banter would result in trying to solve some friendly neighborhood landscaping nightmares. Joey was always very helpful in providing insights and recommendations. He never once pushed or offered his services. After finding out that Joey owned a landscape design and planting company, I sought him out to explain I had a property in desperate need of some planning and implementation. He met me at my house just to hear out what my plan was for our property. It was casual and conversational, not transactional. Our conversation led to an initial design. It never felt rushed, I never felt pressure, if anything it felt like I had known him for years. I conveyed that I loved all of his ideas but we needed some time to cross off some other priorities before we could commit. He was plenty gracious for the opportunity to put together some creative ideas and present them to me. After about six months, we had Joey come back to the property, this time to do a full scale model of the front and backyard and what our vision was for it 5, 10, 15 and even 20 years down the line. His designs were very meticulous, flexible and more importantly, focused on what we could comfortably afford at the time. He explained that his design was intended to be layered throughout the years and each phase would enhance the previous, never allowing anything to look unfinished. We ended up going with a project to rip our half acre backyard apart entirely. He designed a 1,800 square foot retaining wall, a 100 foot walkway, and a 10 foot landing at the bottom of our deck. We trusted his planting design without question. He had a vision and we hired him because of his confidence in his skills. Keeping budget and our happiness at the top of mind, Joey always made sure our money was being spent wisely. We ended up having room to redesign all of the foundational plantings in our front yard as well. Nick was the lead foreman on our project and was in charge of all the deliverables. He was extremely communicative and made sure our experience was top notch from start to finish. His work ethic and accountability fosters trust and takes the stress off of the homeowner. For all ages. Because of my experience, we will only be working with East End as we strive to compete with the rest of the landscapes in our neighborhood. I had a very good experience dealing with Nick. I needed to order a tree as a surprise gift and arrange delivery while away. He sent me many pictures to help me choose the right tree without needing to go to their location. Also needed to get the delivery as close as possible to 10am on a Sunday. At 9:59am Nick knocked on the door! Thank you again for making this perfect.

So happy with this company! I highly recommend them! Both Nick and Joe were amazing! Nick even came to do the work personally! To me when the owner cares enough about his business to do the work Himself, I find that very impressive . I wish I needed more trees! Lol not now, but when I do, East End is who I ll call!!!

This spring, we decided to finally do something about the terribly overgrown shrubbery that took up the majority of our front garden. We knew that it would be a job too large for us to handle ourselves, so we went to East End Trees for advice and help. From our very first visit to their garden center, we couldn t have asked for a more pleasant experience. Joey, Nick, and Charlotte were friendly and professional, and patiently took the time to assist us in choosing the new plantings for our garden. An estimate was sent, and within a week, we had an appointment for a total removal of the old shrubbery, along with a planting and mulching service. Brian and his crew arrived and got to work immediately. By the end of the afternoon, we had a beautiful new garden. I highly recommend East End Tress for any of your landscaping projects. We will surely use them again when needed.

East End Trees just came to plant a tree and shrubs that I ordered. I was blown away with their design and workmanship. I had been to 3 garden centers in the past and received little guidance from employees and the quality of their stock was poor. When you go to East End Trees in Kings Park, you see the best stock. I have worked with Joey & Nick over the past few years watching them design and build three new flower beds in what was a sadly overgrown mess of overgrown trees, bushes and other flowers. Happy to see these two jump into their next venture. I am sure they will excel at this as well!

We live right around the corner from this place and have driven past it a million times. It is wayyyy bigger than meets the eye! Dolores was absolutely lovely to work with and so informative about the tree we were interested in! We will definitely visit again soon!

We had a uniquely impressive experience with Joey, in particular. Following a helpful, responsive, empathic telephone conversation, a large order was placed and information regarding delivery was provided. . To my horror and mortification, a couple of hours later I realized that I made an enormous error. It was entirely my fault. Joey could not have been more gracious and understanding, minimizing my guilt and embarrassment and confirming that there are probably several reasons why this nursery is rated so highly. My unusual experience and the manner it which it was managed was only one of them.

I was off today 3/21/23 so l figured l would go look at shrubs went on goggle seen your website noticed you had great reviews so l thought l would try someplace different since lm from Babylon l usually stay around south shore, so l checked inoticed you Were OPEN. Get to your place and the gates are closed no ones around.

My partner and I went to purchase several large palm trees for our restaurants outdoor dining and event space. The blond lady had ZERO time for us she was rude and dismissive! We own several popular restaurants on Long Island and will certainly never recommend or buy anything from this place! I don t care how busy she was, customer service is important and she lacks it!

This was my first time visiting East End. We were looking to remove several large euonymus shrubs that the deer have decimated despite all kinds of effort on our part. Delores was very helpful in suggesting some replacements that would be more deer resistant. I then communicated with Louis via email to see about having the euonymus removed and the new shrubs planted. He got back to me right away and worked on the pricing which was very fair. He happened to have a cancellation so was able to send a crew over that same day. Three men and a foreman. They did a great job excavating, planting, and mulching. Two hours later the landscaping looked perfect!! Exactly the look I was hoping for. I highly recommend and will be using East End again for sure.

Bought several plants and flowers over the years here. Last spring I purchased hydrangeas and carpet roses all of which have died in less than a year when I called to speak to the company they offered no type of reimbursement and simply just tried to blame it on how we were watering. We had plants our landscaper plant shrubs and roses in the same area as we were watering all of those are doing great and continue to thrive. They do not stand behind their product. Every other place would provide a year of replacement. Do not shop here.

Had 17 emerald green arborvitaes and a plum tree installed April 2021. Lou the owner was easy to work with and he setup an install date rite a way. Mike the foreman came with his crew to install and did a great job. It was nice to have people at my home who respected my property and truly enjoyed what they were doing. Would highly recommend and will use them again for any of my future needs.

If I could give them a -5 If I would. I called to ask if they had cherry trees. The woman who answered the phone told me she was too busy to answer questions and that she didnt deal with people two states away. NIIIICE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

I would give them no stars if I could. We ordered 30 trees on Tuesday, to be delivered on Saturday. They never came or called. They finally came on Monday at noon. At 6pm we get a call saying that the trees are another $20 EACH - $600! When you add money on after the fact, it is called EXTORTION. Yes, someone in the office made a mistake, but they had a whole week to fix it & notify us. It will be a cold day in hell before I go there again.

I went here on Saturday afternoon at 545 pm and wanted to purchase 5 trees. When I walked in I was told we close at 6. I explained I know what I want it will only take 5 mins. First woman said we have no yard guys there . I would have to wait til Monday to get them. I cannot get them myself. I asked her cant I put them on the wagon and roll them out. She commented you should have came in earlier I have an event to go to. I said it will take me less then 5 mins. I dont understand how someone doesnt want 550.00 in business 15 minutes before they close. I hope these ladies arent the owners. Bad business. I am not sure what the ladies told you but it was 5:47 and the trees were emerald green arborvitae They were the 6 To 7 ft. 104.00 each. And weigh nothing. Besides that if I am in your store before closing you just throw me out at 6 or do you let me complete my transaction.

Ive been going to East End Trees for the last 5 years since we moved back to Commack, always a great selection of plants, shrubs & bushes (compared to the big box stores) along with help on our landscaping. Family owned and operated since I believe 2004 its worth the trip for me.

Out of all the nurseries in my area this place is absolutely the best. I stopped in on a Saturday and the girl there spent an hour helping me pick out plaints and gave me great advise. My front yard now looks beautiful. Thank you East End Trees Glenn.

We wanted to get some ideas for our yard on planting some nice trees and bushes to make my curbside appeal looking nicer. We stopped by End End Trees with some pics of our front and backyard and shared them with salesperson Delores who was super nice, she brought the owner Lou over to also make some suggestions. We scheduled a date to install them and within a few days their crew came out and did a excellent job planting them and explaining in more detail on how to maintain them. We have been shopping at East End nursery for years. They have been our go to Nursery for a long time. We have needed a lot of help the past few years redoing our flower beds on our property and Delores has always helped us. She is always patient with all of our questions from both my husband and I ( we like two different styles). This year, we ripped out flower beds filled with overgrown scrubs and Delores recommended using East Ends Designer Sharon. We were so excited with the opportunity to work with a designer who we could send pictures and dimensions too. She came up with a design filled with suggestions for our flower beds. She also included pictures of the flowers and scrubs on the design ( loved that ) We made an appointment to look at the flowers and scrubs. Delores and Sharon helped us pick out our flowers and scrubs to start our replanting. We are so excited to see it all come together. See you in the Spring for our flowers !!

Lou will design a landscaping plan for you, make recommendations, deliver and plant! Also sell topsoil, mulch everything and they deliver. Bought top soil for planting lawn. Told it was good for this purpose. Top soil delivery was high % of sand and grass never established. Had to bring in more topper soil and buy more seed that added almost 50% of what I spent. Disappointed. Oversold thier position. Response to East End Trees: It certainly was the soil. I sent you photos and you offered some recourse. I tried to work with it as much as possible but it just didnt work, I had to get additional top soil and mix it in to get any grass to grow. When I emailed you back to take you up on your offer for some help for my additional expenses and you didnt respond. Just in the future make sure you differentiate between top soil and planter soil when selling customers looking for advisement. You have emails.

We had a really great experience shopping for fall plants at East End Trees. From the second we walked into the nursery, everyone was friendly and helpful without being intrusive. They offered suggestions on plant options, provided tips on planting, and even helped us load our large cart into the car. On May 20th was the first time and most likely the last time I will shop here. My experience began as a pleasant one as I was greeted by an sales person with red hair. She walked me to the ground cover I was interested in and I ended up purchasing 3 plants. After my purchase was complete another employee with Long Blonde hair came over to inspect the sales paperwork and to see if I was charged correctly. After she looked it over and critiqued everything that wasnt filled out ...like my address, phone number, and email address which I felt was unnecessary. Which I refused. The Blonde continued to correct the employee in front of me. I felt extremely uncomfortable. I was surprised that the blonde didnt wait until I left to correct things. It truly showed poor training skills on her behalf and lack of managerial skills. Its very unprofessional to correct employees in front of customers. It only gets worse from here the Red head which I think her name was Kristy was kind enough to carry my purchase out to my car. Kristy thanked me for shopping there and the blonde abruptly interrupts and asks us to speak lower the Boss is trying to concentrate on landscaping designs and we are talking to loud!!!!!!! Seriously??? Its NOT a library its a nursery... I was so turned off by her behavior..

Made a $740 purchase on 5/17/2019. Great selection at good prices, and Christine was very helpful. The man in the office was a bit rude and short with me when I asked about the tagging process. I paid $85 for delivery. I called on 5/23/2019 for delivery status. The lady that answered could not give me an answer. She did acknowledge that she did see my invoice. On 5/24/2019 I sent a follow-up e-mail to the address indicated on sales receipt, and did not get a reply. On 5/31/2019 I returned to get my money back. East End could not deliver trees a half a mile in two weeks ( I live behind Commack High School). It was obvious I was not happy. The lady that processed my refund said you are taking this too personal. Great customer service. The place I used following this incident delivered in a day.

It s not everyday you find great selection and a knowledgeable staff but that s what I found at East End Nursery. A gem!!!

We used East End Trees last year for landscaping in the front and in the back of the house. We trusted them because my husband and I do not know much about landscaping and they seemed professional. However, since last summer, every time we look at the job they had done, it makes us absolutely sick. We spent so much money thinking we were getting the low maintenance landscaping we asked for but instead, we have plants that are WAY to big for the flowerbeds and look so terribly overgrown- even shortly after they were planted. I had called Louis (the owner) to discuss this, and he asked me to send a picture, because of course he doesnt come to look at it in person, and he said he would be happy with that in front of his house which was a bold face lie. He sent his crew back over here to move some of the plants to a botched garden in the back but it still did not help, the rose bushes cover the whole garden and made it look like a jungle instead of professional landscaping. My husband and I wish we would have known better but like I said, we thought they knew what they were doing. My suggestion is, if you do not know much about landscaping, go with someone who will actually care about what their client is asking for and wont screw you over.

We purchased many items from this place. Spent a lot of money on trees shrubs and other plants. The sales people were so friendly while they help you purchase your items. A rose bush we bought from them died and the Japanese maple tree that wasn t cheap was not doing so well. We have two other Japanese maple trees on our property that are fine and we re bought somewhere else. When we went back and told them this they sold us plant food for the tree. We followed the directions and his advice on changing the way we watered it. When we went back again ,All of a sudden the owner was busy and we were told to email him. Another time we went back And we were told he wasn t there. We went back again and when the owner was There and he told us when it left here it was fine . Implying that we killed it. We have many trees, bushes, plants that are doing great. He did offer us a discount on another one, but the way we were treated and the fact that the one he already sold us one that died, I don t want to take a chance. I have dealt with other nurseries in the past and present and when something died that wasn t cheap the place gave us another in place. Whether you spend a substantial amount of money or not you expect to be treated in a professional manner. I guess this place gets so much business it doesn t matter to them how they treat you.

This place is spectacular in every aspect of the business. My Fiancé and I visited multiple tree nurseries last week, after removing a 70 yr old maple that had died. We went for one tree and ended up buying 5, all from East End Trees! The owner was beyond helpful, patient and helped educate us on some of the things we were interested in. He pointed us in the direction of some hospital care trees after he found out I was an avid gardener and a Veterinary technician... I love taking care of the underdog! We purchased 4 of them...all for prices that I consider adoption fees more than sale prices! We also took a beautiful Kousa Dogwood for regular price. It was a major bargain, and I am happy to help some sad-soul trees! When the team came to plant everything they took lots of time to help me find the right spots on my property. They planted everything with care, pruned some branches, and even mulched and put down grass seed!! I could not believe the attention to detail. I have had other companies come plant, and they literally dig a hole, drop the plant in and leave. East End Trees went above and beyond, and even used a blower to clean off my lawn and some gravel paths we have. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful service, and even more thanks for helping me grow my gardens in an affordable and humane way!! Every tree deserves a chance to thrive! You guys rock!

If I could give a zero I would. I was trying to purchase 2 trees just under $1000. 1. Quoted me a number then when I went to get the cash forget to include tax and delivery 2. After I paid they could not to my delivery every week for 4 weeks telling me next week. They are too busy all the time. 3. Then I asked for a refund, they told me to come in to get a refund, went in and they had no cash, and instead of having an employee go to the bank, are making me come back Monday. I guess these guys are okay for big Corp, but definitely not for the little guy. Go to Cheap Sammys! Found same tres more mature for half the cost, and delivered in the week.

I mainly worked with Louis who was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable and extremely quick to respond to any questions I had along the way and even after the job was finished. East End Trees exceeded my expectations as far as quality of job, timeliness, and price. I would you definitely recommend using them.

Had extensive, phased landscaping done during 2019, and we were consistently pleased with both the process and results. Louis was creative and accommodating with designing around our site challenges (poor soil, drainage issues, high deer population). Chase and his crew were efficient and professional. Prices were reasonable, plant specimens high quality, and Louis always promptly responded to my questions and concerns, ensuring I remain a happy customer. Dont do business with this company. If they cant work honestly as a supplier, I doubt their other services differ. Terrible service and terrible product! I was about to write a review but decided to induldge my curiosity to hear what others have written. No shocker to another persons dismay. Here is my experience: I ordered a full cord of firewood for the first time from this company as my previous supplier is honest enough to tell me he is out of fully seasoned wood. So, I called East End trees. What a disaster. First the amount measured short on the truck but their trucks do not make it easy to measure out unless you climb in (Dejana truck bodies are better for this). The young guy says the typical response, I actually added more than a cord, followed by, This is great wood, its seasoned for 3 years while we are starting to get into the wood supply business.. Well folks...I stacked it and it only came to a half a cord! Well... As you can see, they make stuff up...Look at a prior response they have in the reviews. They claim 5 years! That is just downright impossible! Either they think the masses are dumb or they already have a bad reputation and do not get much business. I think they are playing us dumb. Long Island never has enough seasoned wood to provide Long Island period. Google it! So, again...A dishonest company. Now for the wood quality: More termite holes than I have ever seen in a pile ratio! This wood is not to be kept near your house. Do not take it inside for the overnight reserve either! You will awaken the hibernating termite colonies. And the ones that are not infested, certainly are not seasoned. Not according to my moisture meter. They do not care if you tell them you have a wood stove. They will deliver 25 to 30 long splits. I have a huge stove and can barely fit 2 to 3 splits at a time (diagonally). Which means I can not get as much heat as I want to unless I use my miter saw on these things (no thanks). In summary: Dishonest people. Poor wood quality. Did not deliver a full cord but gladly took my money and the tip! Shame of you guys. I dont know how you sleep at night but karma is a wonderful thing. Remember that.

East End Trees is a first class operation. A young gentleman named Michael was a pleasure to work with. His honesty and sincerity was obvious from the moment we first met. He never tried to oversell me on any unnecessary products, and treated my home and property like it was his own. After shopping a few diferent nurseries for a landscape design job in my backyard, Michael was able to get the work done for significantly less money than others had quoted. They were always on time and did not leave any mess after the job was completed.

Louis of East End Trees and his team are great to work with. They will work with you from creating a vision at the very beginning of your project until the end when it all comes alive. The most important thing is that Louis, Michael and Shawn listen and collaborate with you throughout the project and make any necessary changes to make sure the vision comes alive. You will never hear that something is an issue, even if they dont have specific plants, they will get it for you no matter what it takes... and for them only the best will do! If you are doing a project that is small or large, you will never find better partners than the team at East End Nursery. Their experience, advise and professionalism are something every homeowner would find invaluable just like we did.

Firewood is garbage. Wish I would have spent my hard earned money elsewhere. Half the wood is green still. Doesnt burn well at all and the other half is beyond seasoned it burns up faster than saw dust. Complete garbage. Will never shop here again.

East End Trees Nurseries is my go to nursery. Louis and his team are knowledgable, helpful and they have great stock and great prices. Weve used them for virtually everything in our yard, which needed a LOT of work, and will continue to do so.

I go to East End Trees for all of my gardening and landscape needs. Their staff is constantly friendly and helpful. Reasonable prices - not overpriced like other nurseries in the area. My yard was completely destroyed in Hurricane Sandy and thanks to East End we ve been able to completely redo our landscaping without breaking the bank. A few new trees and now our yard is nicely shaded and we gained some privacy from our neighbors. Workers always showed up on time and jobs have always been completed quickly and efficiently. Very happy with our experience with this business, would recommend to a friend.

They go the distance in helping you make educated decisions on which plants would best be suited for your particular environment (soil, sun, slope etc.). Terrible customer service. I sent my spanish speaking landscaper to pick up 3 Skip Laurel bushes and he returns with 2 beautiful bushes and 1 half dead. I call the very next day to complain and was told tough luck all sales final. Stay away, terrible customer service.
