I have to admit that there were issues in the beginning with getting my irrigation system repaired and having my lawn laid. Steve is the man! I m extremely disappointed with SS Irrigation & Landscaping. I replaced the entire above ground pump system and the control box less than a year ago. I was told by their employee who went by the name of Cowboy that the entire system including the control box was under warranty. I used the system after the freeze and it was working as it should. I had turned the system off because of all the rain we were getting and didn t see the need to have it running. When I tried to turn the system on again there was a leak in the gasket. I called to have someone come out and take a look at it and they didn t get back to me. I called them a week later and they said they would have someone out the following week. That didn t happen. They finally showed up today only to tell me that I had to replace the entire pump system and that the warranty wouldn t cover it because I didn t use their services to protect the system from the freeze. I once again explained that the system was working fine after the freeze. There was nothing wrong with it. This happened weeks after when I turned the system back on after all the rain we had had. So I asked their technician how much it would cost to replace and he quoted me about the same amount from what I had paid less than a year ago to replace that same system and the control box. First of all they should stand by their word when it comes to the warranty they supposedly are selling you on and secondly, why are they wanting to charge close to the same amount for only replacing the pump? As far as I m concerned this company lacks transparency when you make a purchase and they definitely do not honor what they say they do at the time of purchase. Watch out because they are out to make a quick penny and leave you hanging when you need the warranty to kick in. Extremely disappointed and wouldn t even give them a one star on their rating. ***And to add to your response, NO, WE WERE NEVER OFFERED THIS SERVICE OF WINTERIZING OUR SYSTEM. And maybe this is why you fired your employee that originally serviced our system. And now you want me to pay a $95 fee for sending someone to tell me that it wasn t covered. And also, he was quite defensive when he arrived. I guess he was already coached as to what to say before he even looked at the issue. INTERESTING!!! I STAND MY GROUND ON PEOPLE KNOWING WHAT YOUR COMPANY WILL DO TO THEM. Quite a set up to fail if you ask me.

I contacted the company a week or so ago to fix an irrigation problem Ive had with my front yard for about a year or so (lack of coverage). I tried to fix the issues myself first by changing out numerous spray nozzles around the entire front yard, but nothing worked to put water on the spots that were not getting any. Today Felipe/Felix (I apologize for getting the name incorrect) showed up to my home and had the problem identified and resolved in 1.5hrs. I couldnt help but laugh at myself, obviously taking into account all the time I spent last year trying to fix the problem myself. The ability to explain the why matters more than some businesses give it credit for. Im glad the employee who visited my home this morning was willing and able to do so with me. Based solely on the reviews I read before reaching out, in addition to the outstanding explanations of why and customer service I received today, I now have this company locked into my phone and will most certainly be reaching out again for some other to-dos around the home.

This guys are truly professional and know their stuff. SS Irrigation & Landscaping installed at our house a sprinkler system and replaced my lawn. Everything was done professionally with great hard caring workers. The guys did a amazing job in just a few days. I turned on my sprinkler system for the first time for the season couple of weeks ago, immediately I noticed a pipe was leaking. I reached out to friends and they recommended SS Irrigation. In 48 hours they had a technician out to repair the busted pipe, but it didn t stop there. The technician inspected the entire system and pointed out another pipe that busted, he quickly repair that leak. I had several broken or leaking sprinkler heads and parts of my lawn wasn t get adequate water coverage. He provided me with an estimate to fix all the other issue s. So I made a follow up appointment to address the other issues. The technician arrived on time, repaired all the broken sprinkler heads and the other issues. There was no hidden additional cost, fair price for the superior customer service. I would highly recommend this local company.

I love the fact that they were able to come out quickly after being called. Steve was awesome and went above and beyond to fix a busted pipe as well as to complete the back flow test. Awesome work.

There isnt enough praise I could give this company. I had a leak that I thought was a irrigation line leak, and within minutes they arrived after I called. After further investigation from their tech, it turned out that it was a leak in my service line instead. Their techs ( Cowboy K and Steve) was determined to fix the problem even past normal work hours. I wanted to tip him, but he told me to give a review instead. Awesome job, SS! Youre truly a blessing to this community and if I could give you a thousand stars, I would. I highly recommend this company for all plumbing and irrigation needs. I Had a pool installed and needed to have the irrigation system tied back in. I was quoted for, a worse scenario, full back yard replacement. I was promised they would salvage everything they could from the old system. I paid half the quote up front. After they completed the job they actually refunded me a portion of the deposit because of the amount they were able to utilize from the previous system. I respect and appreciate their honesty and hard work. It would have been easy take advantage of the situation. New system works great as well!

Had a flower garden drip irrigation pressure issue after another contractor completed work where they moved some of the system late last year. Called SS Irrigation & Landscaping this morning. Owner (Steven) had 2 of his people (Felipe & Tony) come out today to find the problem (kinked underground flex water lines) and fix it in about 1.5 hours. Great service, very professional, and at an unexpectedly low cost. Id recommend them for your next irrigation or landscaping job!

Had my sprinklers adjusted and a few heads replaced. I would recommend SS irrigation to anyone. From scheduling to work completion they were great. The person doing the work was knowledgeable and thorough, made sure all heads got adjusted and/or replaced, even moved a couple heads to get better coverage, after he finished he showed me the final results of all zones working before leaving. He was clean and efficient and knew what needed fixing and what was just in need of cleaning or adjusting. Looking forward to seeing a greener lawn and a dry patio.

The Cowboy came out to fix my Rain Bird system and I couldn t be more pleased with the services. He was very professional and educated me on how my system works. My system needed a little tune up. He replaced two broken sprinkler heads, fixed the zone timing, and made sure the zones were getting maximum coverage. He relocated my rain censor as well for maximum usage. This Company is the BEST you will find in killeen. I came home yesterday to a major water leak. I called Steve the owner of the company and he was able to get me fix right up yesterday afternoon. They do fantastic work from backflow testing to maintenance to new installs. They have planted 2 trees for us and are really beautiful trees. I spent 8 hours over a two day period being told they are coming not to worry for this company to never show up. If you have time to waste by all means request their services.

I paid S&S irrigation almost $500 and weeks later my sprinklers stop working. I come back after being in the field for weeks to find out only 3 of my sprinklers work and now my grass is brown. Ive tried calling them and the lawn dude with no answers or responses.

I ve lived in the area since 2005 and have used several different sprinkler and backflow companies throughout the years but SS Irrigation was by far the best company I have used yet. Friendly, professional staff that will go out of their way to solve your issues promptly. They sent out a technician to fix my backflow after the winter storm. He was extremely knowledgeable and had identified the problem (which was a multi-problem issue), replaced parts, and fixed the backflow on the spot. Not only did he fix all the problems, but he did it relatively quickly and with a high degree of quality. Great company, awesome professionals working there! I will be using SS Irrigation for all my future sprinkler service and backflow testing needs!

I saw them doing work at my neighbors yard, asked them to come check out my sprinkler issue after they were done and Felipe, went to my house and fixed my sprinkler system on the spot and under a hour. Replaced 4 heads, found and fixed my leak, and replaced my pvb. Great service and great workers. The price for the labor and parts was great. I thought it would be more than 200 dollars but nope, only $157!

Paid Thousands of dollars for repair services. They could not correct the problem . Upon multiple telephone calls, messages and texts they company would not respond. I had to find someone else after being a no problem paying custom for years to S&S Irrigation.. The problem was they installed the master control incorrectly and it burned out. we had to hire someone else to fix their error.

We needed somebody to repair our entire in ground sprinkler system after Texas Cool Pools destroyed our yard. These folks were recommended by another conteactor and were out less than a week later. Two days of repairs and we are like new again! Thank you SS Irrigation for the quick reaponse and hard work to fix another companys screw up.

In 2017, after careful research and talking to multiple businesses about a sprinkler system for our new home, my husband and I decided to use SS Irrigation and Landscaping and we haven t needed to look anywhere else since. Anytime we ve needed a job done, they ve promptly responded and completed quality work. Not only did they install our sprinkler system, they came out anytime we had concern on coverage, needed something added/moved after changing our landscaping, and even added a French drain to fix a drainage issue in our backyard that had our builder and other contractors stumped.
