I have been a customer of Growin Green for a few years now and I am not sure what took me so long to do a review. I am extremely pleased with the job they do and every one of their staff that I have dealt with has been helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I have been with them for 5 or 6 years and haven t had one bad experience. I highly recommend them.

I hired GrowinGreen last fall. My yard was full of weeds and had gotten in pretty bad shape. I expected it to take at least a couple years to get my yard in good conditiion. After a reseeding last fall and series of treatments: Im pleasantly surprised at the results so far. My yard right now looks alot better. It has a full green look that it hasnt had in years.

THIS IS THE MOST UNPROFFESIONAL BUSINESSS I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH! THESE PEOPLE ARE RUDE, UNPROFFESIONAL, AND LAIRS THEY NEVER PERFORMED A SERVICE FOR ME. I WITNESSED THEIR EMPLOYEE COME TO MY DOOR LAY A BILL AND WALK OFF WITH OUT EVER TOUCHING MY LAWN. WHEN I CALLED THE OFFICE TO EXPLAIN TO THEM WHAT WAS GOING ON THEY BRUSHED IT OFF AND SAID THEY WILL LOOK INTO IT AND NEVER DID. HERE COMES THE CRAZY PART I HIRED ANOTHER COMPANY AND THEY DID A WONDERFUL JOB. GROWING GREEN ACTUALLY TOOK A PICTURE AFTER MONTHS OF MY YARD AND TRIED TO TAKE CREDIT FOR IT. THIS IS THE MOST BIZARE AND UNPROFFESIONAL COMPANY IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO HIRE THEM I WILL GO AHEAD AND SAY RUN!

I have been very pleased with Growing Green (Greensboro NC area). Having used a different national lawn service company before, I can say unequivocally that Growing Green is leaps and bounds above them. My lawn is beautiful year round. The service of the lawn techs and also the customer service of the office staff has been exceptional. I highly recommend Growing Green to others in the Piedmont NC region.

Im definitely satisfied with my Growin Green experience. My technician, Brandon, was very attentive and easy to get in touch with. The prices are comparable to other lawn care companies in the area and the service is definitely top notch. There was a small issue regarding my service but it was resolved. They have a satisfaction guarantee and Seth, went above and beyond to make sure I was 100% satisfied 5 starts for Growin Green!!

Ive done business with GrowinGreen for the last 3 seasons and have been very impressed with their responsiveness, professionalism, and the quality of their work. Their technicians are friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable which is something that I put a high value on because questions come up from time to time and you need an expert on your team to get them answered. My lawn shows the results and is among the nicest in the neighborhood. If I were to give a piece of advice to a homeowner considering hiring a lawn professional, it would be to remember that there are always THREE partners in caring for a lawn. The owner, The Professional, and Mother Nature. All have their part to play. GrowinGreen can put the pieces in place, and the owner can do his part, but if Mother Nature decides not to participate then results will be limited. That said, if Mother Nature will decide to provide a little timely rain and modest temperatures, then GrowinGreen can get you the rest of the way there. Thanks Jonathan and Team. I appreciate ya!

My lawn has completely changed in the last two years. Service team is great, office staff is helpful and friendly. I have recommended GrowinGreen and will continue to do so.

I started with Growingreen after we had a house fire and our lawn was a mess. After a year our lawn is beautiful and all the bare spots are gone. I also like having the mosquito spray as my neighbors have little children and I feel I am helping them from getting bitten. They coordinate our spray time together

We are in our third year with GrowinGreen taking superb care of our lawn. Jon and his staff provide top-notch customer service along side of the outstanding lawn maintenance they provide. They always take the time to answer any question I may have and are always prompt and incredibly attentive to details like ensuring all gates are closed after service and reminding us about how long to keep our dogs off the grass after each visit. The BEST part is, my yearly cost for the GrowinGreen premium programs is less than I was spending each year trying to do it myself, my lawn looks WAY BETTER and I dont have to do all that work!! You cannot go wrong by going with GrowinGreen!!

Rodney is a HUGE problem for this company. I m baffled that he still has a job when he is abrasive and has zero customer service. This company should reconsider who they hire.

I need to change my review for Growing Green. They used to be responsive and do treatments automatically. But now I have to remember to call to ask them to come. This year has been the worst so far. They missed a treatment and they were late with another one causing my lawn this year to have more weeds than it did in the past. And they increased priced adding more salt to the wound. Last treatment they finally came admitting they were late and the temp worker missed half my lawn and finished the treatment in less than 10 minutes. Ive called Growing Green to three times for them to come back to finish the other half but they still have not done so yet.

My yard has improved 100% over the last 2 years. Curtis does an awesome job.

Overall, my experience has been very good. I appreciate the advance notice of when you will be on my property and I am very pleased with the landscape pre-emergent that has kept weeds out of my flower beds over the past year. My lawn is looking better but I saw a LOT of cool weather weeds over the past 4 months so Im hoping that with warmer weather, these will all go away.

Its almost impossible to talk to a live person. Ive been trying to get a certificate of insurance from them for the past month and no one has called me back. Their attentiveness to our customers seems to be OK.

After a year of treatment, including aeration and overseeing in the fall, my yard looks much better. The weeds are not completely gone yet but the lawn is noticeably healthier and much greener than before the GrowinGreen program started. The GrowinGreen staff are great to work with.

Service started out fine, but I had to call about missed treatments after the first few treatments. I tried to resolve issue with Chuck and he was confrontational, condescending, and rude. Cancelled service! There are a lot of lawn service providers and will treat you as a customer and respectfully.

Quality lawn treatment. My yard looks better now than it ever has, and that is with only a partial season of treatment. Appears to be a quality application process and quality chemicals and seed.

Made the switch to GrowinGreen in the fall of 2018. I have tried several well known competitors with no success. My lawn looks great this spring and is greener than ever! This company is great!

Worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Unprofessional. I would not recommend this company anyone. Save yourself and your friends grief do not use this company. They bill for services you do not request. If you cancel service they continue billing. Worst display of professionalism I have experienced in my life. Also, yard workers smoke while performing services in your yard.

Great customer service.

I have had the service for 2 years and my lawn looks worst now than it did when they started. Last year they blamed it on too much rain. This year they are blaming it on not enough rain. Even though I water it regularly. The money back guarantee doesnt exist either. I called and told them to cancel my service and told them them that I wasnt happy. The lady that took the call said she would have a manager call me back. They never did.

I started working with GrowinGreen after my efforts to grow healthy grass failed. I was tired of my yard looking brown and diseased so I called them for a consultation. From the very beginning, they have been great !! Their customer service is excellent and I have an assigned technician (JOSH) who is my point person---I only have to contact him for my questions. He is very knowledgeable and in less than six months I have seen a complete change in my yard. Josh is responsive and a good representative for his employer. I am very pleased with this company and I also find their rates reasonable. They offer a wide variety of services and you can select what is right for you.

I am not a customer of GrowinGreen, however, I did inquire about signing up for service with them. I heard an AD on the radio advertising about how they will beat most competitors and price match with their competitors. I am currently using another lawn service that is a national company and figured I would try to give a local company a shot at earning my business. They told me they would not price match with what my current company offers. Beware! False advertising!

We are so pleased with the way our lawn looks. We could see a huge difference after just the first treatment. We have only had two treatments so far and my husband says he loves his lawn! We would highly reoommend Grownin Green!

Growin Green has turned our wasteland into a well-maintained and beautiful grassy jungle. I didnt think it was possible four our yard to be a yard again and it has even been less than a year. (We had another company tell us it would take two years at least to get our yard in decent shape.) We especially love how courteous and informative Curtis is each time he comes out. Two of our neighbors use Growin Green and you can definitely tell by how lush and green their laws are.

Curtis is our representative and he is so kind and is very knowledgeable. Our neighbors tell us we have the best looking yard on our street. GrowinGreen is a top notch local company that does excellent work. We tried to grow fescue in our lawn for 10 years to no avail. I finally decided to call in the professionals. The company owner himself came by to view our lawn. Based on soil & the sun light received by our lawn, he recommended we try Bermuda grass. He showed pix of his work in the community. We agreed with his assessment & he formulated a personal step by step plan. He killed the weeds & what little grass we had left. Later he seeded with what he called a blend of bermuda seed & suggested we keep wet for a couple of weeks. The natural rain we had in May was perfect. The grass filled in all spots. No more dirt spots. We were amazed. He later added fertilizer to promote growth. My son asked me to tell GG we didn t need an additional application of fertilizer since it was growing so thick & fast. You see, my 16 year old son cuts our lawn to earn $ & it was giving him a work out. We are now 2 months in & our lawn looks great. My son continues to complain about mowing, but our neighbors with fescue are struggling with the dry hot humid temps. Some may require major work to replace portions of their lawn in the fall. A few years ago our lawn was a disaster. It was about 1/3 dirt, 1/3 weeds, 1/3 poor grass. I saw a few nice looking lawns in my area and happened to see a Growin Green truck at one of them. I called and they promptly came out and performed a survey. The difference just after that 1st year was amazing! Im in my 6th year with them and Im very pleased with their service. The seeding they did last fall was second to none! Many people comment on my lawn and I always give most (I take a little) of the credit to Growin Green.

In the height of this busy season for the lawn care industry, Tommy Cowett (GrowinGreens Sales Manager) just paid us a personal visit in response to the request for information we filled out on the GrowinGreen website. In an age where good customer service seems like a thing of the past, todays experience was such a pleasant surprise. We walked the property and shot the breeze. He knows his stuff and explains everything in a down to earth way. He completed our estimate right there on the spot and already provided us with value from his advice, empathy, humor, kindness, and patience. I dont think Tommy has ever met a stranger! He feels like a neighbor youve known for years. This company actually cares! How refreshing. Ive never sat down like this and written a review. But I am hoping someone like me (discouraged with their lawn, and disheartened the lack of customer care they receive from their current lawn care provider) might read this and give GrowinGreen a chance to make day like they did mine. We cant wait to start our lawn care collaboration with them!

I have not regretted allowing GrowinGreen to provide my yard needs, They will do the treatments needed to thicken your grass and keep it green not only during the Spring but during the hot Summer days, humid nights and into the Fall seeding and feeding. No more trying to pick out the best grass seed and fertilizers for my yard. GrowinGreen knows what is best. Put your mind at ease and let them do the rest.

Worst service ever. Especially when you never asked for it and they trespassed on your yard, leaving irreversible damage. (They provided service to the neighbors yard.) Then they blame you because they go by the mow line instead of the property line? How does that make any sense? Then they leave you with a mess they are unwilling to fix.

GrowinGreen completely takes care of our lawn at a very reasonable price. We dont have to guess about when to treat our lawn or what to treat it with. That is all taken care of! Friends are always complementing us on how beautiful our grass looks. We always give the credit to GrowinGreen!

I have been using them for a year. I have been happy. You can tell where my property ends because my grass looks so good. People in the neighborhood have signed up with them because my grass stayed green through the winter. Worth the cost.

Was a customer for 2 years. First year saw a noticeable difference in my lawn. The second year my lawn developed a sever case of fungus that was never resolved. Also had numerous weeds and extensive crab grass infestation. Decided to cancel my service and see if I could improve my lawn on my own. When I called to cancel my service there was no inquiry as to why I wanted to cancel my service or any type of follow up to see if there was something they could to do. Guess they have so much business they dont care.

They could not get my weeds gone. I did better on my own with products from Lowes . Most of the time when I call there is no answer and when you leave a message there is no returned call. I am canceling this service today.

2015 marks the 3rd year we have had GrowinGreen as our lawn maintenance provider. Working in the yard, doing the fun stuff, is so much better with Growin Green handling the tedious stuff - fertilizing, seeding, spraying, yada yada yada. We can enjoy the planting the color and produce... without doing the maintenance. I kind of look at it like painting without having to do the prep or the trim. Thanks GrowinGreen for making us look so good and taking care of the boring tough stuff. And I love that Curtis gives the courtesy calls before coming.

GrowinGreen has been servicing my yard for one-year. The service has been kind, considerate and exceptionally valuable - especially given the difficult clay base that they have to work with here. When a new issue arose with a tree - I showed the technician and while he could not answer my question on the spot...he found an expert who could. Not only was the follow-up informative - they explained what I could do to keep the salvation of this tree reasonable. Great people, Great service!
