I have been using Lawn Doctor for a couple seasons now and could not be more satisfied. The owner has been in the business his entire life and really knows his way around the lawn. All services are reasonably priced and done so timely. I used to do my own lawn fertilizing, seeding, and weed control, but was difficult with my travel schedule for work, to get fertilizer and various applications down at the right time. Lawn Doctor has their services down to a science, getting every application down at the perfect time, taking stress off me when I am not around to do it myself, and ensuring their promise of a green, thick, weed free lawn. They have helped me and my lawn greatly and I m sure they will do the same for you and yours as well!

I was pleasantly surprised when I got home from work and my first service of the season was done! Not even 24 hours after emailing them with what services I wanted. The process was quick and painless.

Had my first application of weed and feed along with perimeter pest control this week. It was quick and easy. The gentleman arrived a little early and was nice enough to let me quick let my dogs out before he started the backyard.

I believe we have a pretty good size of the lawn area. From the time he arrived, and then he took out his equipment from the car to the time he put back the equipment to his car and left . ONLY TEN MINUTES. Really quick service.

Can t recommend Lawn Doctor enough. We just signed up this week! I called for a quote on Monday, April 24 and our first treatment was applied on Wednesday, April 26. I spoke to Lewis on the phone who helped me get registered. Very helpful and professional. I can t wait to see our lawn spruce up and will keep this service annually!

I have been using Lawn Doctor for several seasons now and have never had a bad experience! They always notify me that they ll be stopping by to perform whichever service and then again once that service has been completed. They even send a note in case they aren t able to make it out due to weather or other circumstances and give me a window of when they ll reschedule! I love that I don t have to guess when services will be completed and that they re always one step ahead! Also, the interactions I ve had with the technicians completing the service have always been pleasant. They do an outstanding job and I would highly recommend them!

We have been getting sprayed by Lawn Doctor for flea/tick/pest control for over a year now. We had been seeing multiple ticks on our dogs within a weak and just couldnt stand for that. Since getting sprayed with Lawn Doctor there has not been a single tick incident. They have taken away a lot of worry for us and it is well worth it. It is affordable and they always give you a heads up before they come, leave a paper with information and we dont even have to be home when they stop by. Always happy with their customer service.

I would like to see the applicators slow down a bit on the lawns. There may be obstacles that need to be watched out for. I know time is money but accuracy is an asset.

I ve done it myself forever but last year had a hand injury that got me way behind with weeds. I liked all the reviews I found on Lawn Doctor and liked the family owned aspect. Called them and was treated very well by a very attentive person. Initially I was thinking a 1 year service for me and I d go back to diy. At this point with the excellent service and the amazing improvement to my weed issues I will be thinking fertilizing and weed control is something that comes off my list and stays on Lawn Doctor s list!! Everybody I ve had contact with clearly understands the concept of quality customer service.

They tell you a price that they are going to charge and then they overcharge your card saying it s for multiple sprays but it was never disclosed when you signed up. Not only did they do that to me but also other family members. I wouldn t recommend getting lawn services from them.

Really has improved my grass. The fertilizer service is actually very affordable. It didnt end up being much more than if i did it myself. Fertilizer they use seems to work much better than store brand stuff.

It is lush and a just looks greener. I have never had to call them back for spot treatments, so it really does work. Techs like Jeff Z. are truly passionate about their work. He truly cares and that makes a huge difference. He treats our yard like he would his. I will continue to use their services and hope Jeff stays as the tech that services our yard.

I was having trouble with my lawn and a lawncare service I have used in other states was not delivering on expectations in Michigan. I switched to Lawn Doctor of Grand Rapids and they helped to rid my lawn of fungus (Sliver Dollar fungus or Dollar Spot fungus) that was spreading across my yard, killed all the weeds, and got my lawn back to a rich, green color. They have been responsive when I call about a concern and address it within days. I would recommend them.

I had the power seeding and still the yard has many places with no grass. ( I have the water on a timer so I watered 3 times a day.). I do have alot of crabgrass growing right now but its been hot and just recieved my second treatment. The staff is very nice.

Signing up is easy & I like their notification system so we are aware of when theyll be doing our lawn. Wish they wouldve gotten first application in earlier this year though. All our neighbors who use other services had theirs done 2 weeks before us. Also wish they took soil samples to know what would be most effective. I dont believe all lawns are created equal. We are in clay and have a lot of moss.

First time using lawn Dr had lot of dandelion in grass after first application I still seen them but in a week after treatment they were gone and havent seen any after that ,yard looks very nice . lawn Dr is doing all I want done in my yard.

Lawn Doctor came out twice to spray for weeds/crabgrass, and we still have areas of weeds/crabgrass scattered throughout our property. We plan on signing up with a different company in the spring for all of our lawn care needs instead. We definitely wont be using Lawn Doctor again.

I have been trying care for my yard myself for years spending tons of money with little to no results. I called lawn doctor out of frustration and they helped me figure out everything I was doing wrong. We started with a soil test and then a plan. We just deep seeded this spring and applied sulfur (I was putting down lime which messed up the PH of the soil) and fertilizer. In the past I put down bags and bags of grass seed and still had thin grass and bare spots. The deep seeding process was amazing I can t believe the result. They just started and already my yard looks 100% better. The prices are reasonable and the results are amazing. With the Doctors help I m not wasting my money guessing what my yard needs. Canceled their service after 2 applications. The initial application they were here for about 10 minutes tops. The 2nd application about the same amount of time. Guy performing the job was obviously in a rush to get in and out. Called to cancel after 2nd application and told them that I see a ton of striping in my yard, meaning their patented spreader technology does not evenly coat the lawn as it should to make sure the lawn is evenly fed. Never heard back nor did they care to salvage the business. The only positive was that they were responsive to coming out when asked to, the subsequent work though was lack luster. I would say they are more about quantity of jobs versus quality.

They came to my home and fertilized my lawn. We have backyard pets and I asked them to stay far away from them. They did not. I DO NOT recommend them! They do not care about your pets or your lawn!

I had originally reviewed Lawn Doctors, and gave them a poor review due to having difficulties with them being able to make it to my home to spray my lawn for mosquitos in a timely manner. Since then they reached out to me, apologized, offered me a free spray, and were on top of keeping my Lawn sprayed for the last part of the season. I am impressed with the way this situation was handled, and will be giving them another try next season.
