Peter is beyond perfection. His work has been absolutely amazing and we love our front yard! He worked on a new retaining wall, leveling the yard, creating a new paver walkway, expanded our garden bed and graded our extra parking spot! I would heartily recommend him for just about anything.
Peter is a thorough professional. Prompt response. Arrived exactly when he said he would. Has all the proper tools and equipment to complete a job from start to finish. He did a paver patio project for me and was a perfectionist at every step in the process. Contractors like Peter are hard to find. I highly recommend him.
We used Peter from Landscape Pick Up to build a retaining wall in our backyard and do some grading to our lawn to flatten it out and have more usable space. Our expectations were exceeded after choosing Peter for the project. He is very detail oriented and takes pride in his work. I really like that he owns all of his equipment and is a jack of all trades when it comes down to it. He added professional touches like hiding the outlet of the drain pipe behind the wall with a nice looking grate cover. He was friendly to deal with and was tidy and respectful of cleaning up after himself everyday. I would highly recommend him and his services for any landscaping, hardscaping needs. Thank you Peter!

Peter and Landscape Pick Up just finished a job to help us transform our backyard by removing a dilapidated old shed and some terraces/huge raised beds that had been neglected and were totally overgrown. We wanted to create a more traditional, open yard that would give our toddler some much-needed outdoor space to play in, and we could not have done it without some serious help. After finding Landscape Pick Up's website, I submitted an inquiry via their contact form, and Peter got back to me almost immediately. After some back and forth to explain what we were hoping to achieve, we arranged a time for Peter to come out and look at the site. He came out exactly when he said he would and followed up with a very reasonable bid within a day. The timing worked out that Peter was able to start the project within a few days of his initial visit, and he was able to finish the whole thing in four days, so it was basically about a week and a half from submitting the inquiry on their website to completing the job, which is pretty amazing. As far as the work itself, Peter did exactly what he said he would in the amount of time he said he would for the price he said he would. For me, that's pretty much the gold standard for working with any kind of contractor, so I was very satisfied. Peter himself is a great communicator and made sure to check in at various points in the project to confirm that we were getting exactly what we wanted. I have nothing negative to say about our experience working with Peter and Landscape Pick Up and would recommend them for any kind of landscape clearing, excavating, or retaining wall work.
We HIGHLY recommend Peter from Landscape Pick Up. He is extremely knowledgable, has a sharp eye for detail and was very easy to work with. We received estimates from several companies, and Peter was the only one who took the time to walk all around our property, talk through how he would execute what we wanted, and even gave us ideas on ways to work around questionable areas in our yard. Not only was he the most approachable and knowledgable, his final estimate was below others. He really spends the extra time to make sure he understands what it is you're looking for, and went the extra step to include our neighbors in the final run-through before construction began to make sure everyone was happy and on the same page. As part of our retaining wall, we wanted to construct a fence once the project was completed. Peter walked us through options for creating structurally strong post holes within the backfill and after starting the fence those have been a life saver. Peter and crew always showed up on time, were always available if we had questions and made sure we were included in the process from start to finish. We are extremely happy with the end result and recommend anyone looking for this type of work to contact Peter! He really is the best, and was truly a pleasure to work with.
Peter and his crew at Landscape Pick-up built us about 240 feet of 3-man rockery wall at our home in Kent. I would consider the work to be very detailed and challenging as part of the wall system needed to be built into a steep hillside with limited access due to our deck, septic system, and multiple large trees in the middle and all around the wall sections. The project took about a month to complete. They worked consistent hours and never missed a day during the project. During the entire process Peter and Brian worked well together, kept the worksite clean, professional, and safe! The project was completed on time and on budget. I liked Peter’s attention to detail as well as the fact that he owned all his own equipment which was in great shape so there no worries about delays due to equipment break downs and/or rentals. My wife and I were nervous about the project because we got started late in the summer and were concerned that rain would be a problem due to the terrain and access and all of our worries turned out to be for not. We are 100% satisfied with the finish product and it really added exceptional detail to our property.
Peter did a fantastic job of our backyard hardscape. He dug out an area for a beautiful patio, built two gorgeous retaining walls and leveled our backyard so our grandchildren have a place to play! The patio and detail of the staircases are even more amazing than we had envisioned! He built a walkway connecting everything to the front of the house and poured a pad for our hot tub. This was a huge project and Peter checked in with us all along the way. He was always keeping us informed as to how the project was progressing and as the project began to take shape was willing to refine the design with us so that the final product not only looks amazing but is also done correctly and meets our needs. Peter, Brian and Justin were all such hard workers with great work ethics. The bid was very reasonable, even with all the changes we made to our plan. Peter was upfront about additional costs as we added in stairs. We have hired many contractors to work on renovating our homes, and Peter was by far the nicest and easiest to work with. I highly recommend this company! Without Peter's experience and vision, the project would never have turned out so beautifully!
Peter did great work with our retaining wall in our backyard. It was a tough job, with lots of large trees to work around and he stayed on time an in budget. He commincated professionally throughout the project sending picture updates, which was great! Would highly recommend him for your next project!
Peter was great to work with. He is honest, fair, highly competent, an excellent communicator, and a really nice guy in general. Hes among the best contractors out of several that Ive hired to work on my property and I wouldnt hesitate to hire him again.
I had Peter back to install a Shed Pad/ Retaining wall, in the backyard. He presented all the options, and made the one we went with, happen! I have another job Id like him to do, but hes too busy!
Peter just finished expanding a gravel parking strip for me and did great work. Showed attention to detail and quality in everything he does. Really appreciated his willingness to take on my job, which was probably on the smaller size for most of his work. Also, high marks for his communication which was frequent and always timely, starting with my first call to him to request a bid for my job (he actually answered my call directly - a rarity these days when contacting most contractors).
Had Peter over to take care of a mess I had created on my own in my backyard. I had the quote in a matter of minutes, he came out the same week and went above and beyond to help me out. Amazing value and we are currently working on him taking on more scope. He also is making sure my project is going well outside of what he was tasked to do so you can tell he likes what he does! Landscape Pick Up did a small, one-day job clearing some dirt for us where we are putting in a deck. We needed the dirt cleared to 3 different heights. He asked many questions before starting, and the result was exactly what we wanted.
I was very pleased with the value I received from Landscape Pick Up. My project was a 3.5 foot high retaining wall about 100 feet long with two 90° radius turns. The owner had all tools/equipment needed to complete the job efficiently. I would use Landscape Pick Up again and refer friends and family to them.
I had Landscape Pickup (Peter) do a relatively small job of filling and leveling a motorhome parking pad next to my house. Peter was very responsive and came to the site, provided a competitive bid and won the job. Peters follow through was exceptional and he completed the job as committed. Peter recently completed some work, reshaping our back yard. We had to get some Bamboo removed, as well as getting a gravel parking area installed for Trailers and Vehicles, as well as an access gravel road to the parking area. Peter was thorough, patient and helpful. We are new to the area, which means we have to find all new people ( Barber, Mechanic, Etc.)- we have found our Excavation/Yard Contractor! Thanks Peter!!

We had Landscape Pickup extend our driveway with packed gravel for parking a camp trailer. From the original estimate to the final work and cleanup, Peter was a pleasure to work with. Landscape Pick Up went above and beyond during the construction of my 70 foot retaining wall. Their attention to detail along with precision lines and corners left me 100% satisfied with the job. I highly recommend their services to anybody and I personally will use them again in the future. They did what they said they were going to do, stayed within the price bid, and more importantly finished the job before the time deadline.
The job to cap off the driveway with 5/8 crushed and spread it was done very well and he even compacted which was included in the price and was an awesome surprise. I checked around at a couple places and the delivery of 6+ yards was comparatively the same, but the other works was not provided so that was the real selling point. Thanks for a great job and hope to do more work with them.
I recently needed a stump removed and some additional contouring of my back yard. Choose Landscape Pick Up randomly from Craigslist. I was totally pleased with the way Peter listened to my requirements and then implemented what I wanted very accurately. He has a variety of types of heavy equipment with the ability to use them safely and accurately. His expertise achieved from an extensive experience background allowed him to complete the work I needed in a very reasonable amount of time and on budget. I recommend his company without reservation and will choose them again for any future work.
I had Landscape Pick Up excavate around my existing manufactured home and remove the old skirting. The services was prompt and professional, the price was fair, and they were real nice guys. Ill definitely use them again should the need arise and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
Peter and Brian were very professional. They were very hard workers. Built me a really nice 130 wall by 4 they did a great job in a timely manner. Very friendly to work with and have lots of experience and good insight. Would highly recommend them. The job turned out better then I expected. They went above and beyond.
We are very pleased we hired Landscape Pick Up to put concrete wall caps on an existing 600 feet of wall. Heavy materials, complex concrete cutting, fitting to an imperfect existing wall, etc. They changed this wall from questionable to a street appeal gem. Nice guys, worked hard, real craftsmanship and pride in their work, arrived on time, have the tools to do it right, and the price was fair to boot. These guys are real professionals and we recommend them highly!
This is an excellent and professional team. They took on a difficult project ( double retaining walls on a steep slope with limited access). Peter provided a highly competitive bid, (which they stuck to), solid communication (they did what they promised, and when they promised it). They are well equipped (from excavator to small walk-behind tractor), and highly skilled (beautiful, solid and well-constructed retaining walls, and a job well done!). Landscape pickup built a 3rd terrace patio into the hillside behind our home. Because of the location, there were many logistical complexities of the project. Nevertheless, Peter and Brian executed on timeline and on budget and we could not be happier with the final product. Throughout the project they were extremely professional and conscientious and provided excellent guidance and design suggestions. They minimized the impact to adjacent areas and were very thorough at clean up. Peter is such a delight to work with through the planning and design phase.
After being ignored by other contractors due to the initial size of our project, I found Landscape Pick Up LLC online. I submitted my info and was contacted in about an hour by Peter. We talked a bit and Peter came over to take a look at the area we wanted work done on. I generally said what I was looking for and Peter gave me much better ideas - not only in design but also how to save money on the project. Wow! The project was to turn our side yard into a trailer parking area. A retaining wall and some stairs were also needed. After some emails nailing down the details, we told Peter we were ready and he notified 811 that day. 811 came the following day and marked a multi-color web of spray paint. After some exploratory digging we found the buried wires, so the project could begin! The following Monday Peter came with Mike and they were in full work mode in rain, snow, sun and hail. By Thursday we had a fantastic new parking area with an incredibly beautiful natural stone wall and matching natural stone stairs. To say we are happy with Peter and the work he did would be an understatement - this came out even better than we thought it could be, and we know its all thanks to Peter and his excellent experience and vision. We will definitely be calling Landscape Pick Up again for all future projects!
Peter at Landscape Pickup LLC did an awesome job removing a 30 x 20 mess of bamboo roots in a difficult-to-reach area of my backyard. He was masterful in moving his excavator down the soft, steep hillside (while creating a great new path for my wheelbarrow). He separated the clumps of roots/rhizome from the dirt, then used his skid steer to haul the clumps back up the slope to his dump truck (almost ten yards of roots!). He finished by grading out the area so I can now prepare the soil to lay sod. From start to finish, Peter was a true pro. He was very conscientious about the impact on my yard, my chickens, my neighbors, and my wallet. Thank you, Peter!
Landscape Pick Up does amazing work. They built our retaining wall. Peter is very detailed oriented and precise. We had a few stumps in our back yard that we had to work around, which made the job a little difficult. Peter had great ideas of ways to work around them and still have an amazing looking retaining wall. I wouldnt hesitate hiring him.
Peter and his team have completed a couple projects at my house over the past several years in both my front and back yard. His work is very reasonable and hes great at offering ideas on how to go about things in the most economical way. His work is quick and efficient. When most landscapers werent available for several months, he was able to start on the project the following week after sending me a bid and even finished early. Definitely recommend!
I hired them to excavate for a 350 sqft monolithic slab foundation for an addition. Peter is a skilled operator. He was very careful to achieve the right depth and stayed on layout while working in a tight space near utilities. They were prepared and efficient so the pricing was good. Highly recommended.
Needed a couple of trenches dug for an electrical and drain line. Also needed a small tree removed. Peter estimated a half days work for the project and said he could fit it in the following day. Peter and his helper showed up right on time and got it done within his estimate. No surprises. I wouldnt hesitate to use his services again.
