When we realized we needed to remove the moss/weeds/dandelions that covered our property, the largest sod grower in Washington state recommended Veth's for installation. The Veth crew did a fantastic job. They were polite, prompt, communicative. They leveled the property with high quality topsoil, and installed a beautiful new lawn. The crew boss gave detailed instructions on how to help the sod grow roots quickly. We could not be happier with Veth's and recommend them.

We live in an apartment complex that uses this service. They have no regard for people's personal items. If they break something they won't tell you, you have to constantly call them in order to get any kind of result. They broke a $300 statue, stated they would replace it or pay for it, providing them an invoice from the place we bought a new statue from to replace the statue that was destroyed and they only paid for ⅔ of the cost of the statue and then put in the memo line "depreciation of statue" and write it for $200. Now my boyfriend is out over $100, including tax, when they stated they would pay for the entire thing. Now it is completely impossible to get ahold of them to get the rest of the cost to replace the statue that their worker destroyed. We would've never known it was them that destroyed it without our ring camera as the worker didn't even bother to inform us or anybody else and tried to put the remnants of the statue back together to make it look like there is nothing wrong with it. Terrible company. Edit: Finally resolved after this review was posted. The company tried to negotiate the removal of this review.

UPDATING MY POST! I had Veth come back and give an estimate for irrigation system. Price was very reasonable and fit right where i wanted it with other bids. The next day Veth showed up with a crew nice and early no waiting around waiting and wondering when someone is going to show up. They worked hard all day and returned the following morning and finished. Just like that i had irrigation system. I don't know why I waited so long. This irrigation system is a must have if you want green grass with a flick of the finger. I am able to control system with phone app or on the wall. This irrigation system is priceless and also entertaining. It is a lot of fun watching your grass getting watered while you sit there and smile! I can't really overstate how professional these guys are. They show up in nice trucks, professional equipment and dressed the same. They have irrigation teams that do irrigation, deck and fence team that do decks and fences, you get what I am saying. The thing i like the most about Veth's service is he comes out gives estimate has a professional crew out in no time . Then they work hard together and your project is done. Enjoy whatever service you got. 1ST POST If you want a professional job done the right way these are your guys. Veth came out and was very professional. He gave me a fair quote which I accepted. They arrived the next morning with a crew working together as a team. They showed up in with matching work gear and used high quality equipment. They cut down 3 trees tapered up bushes, made new flower beds and of course weeded existing beds and mowed. They brought in 10 yards of mulch for the beds. All the trees weeds and grass and everything else was all taken away. It feels great to visualize a plan for your yard and then it comes true in a short time. There was none of those excuses saying " the weather was bad" or " one off my guys called in sick we'll be there tomorrow". I really appreciate quality people and quality work. There is a reason professional quality work may cost a little bit more then a one or two man lawn service. You get what you pay for and i could not be happier with the service and work which transformed my yard. Irrigation system will be next. I referred VLS to my friend who was completely satisfied and 3 of his neighbors liked his work they got some work done. if you get work done you'll understand why i gave 5 star!
Wow! Veth and his team did a FABULOUS job installing our sod. We are so pleased with how it came out. He was priced fairly, and showed up right on time. Detail oriented service too! They added mulch to my flower beds as an added touch.
I was referred to Veth company by a friend they worked with. We needed some retaining walls with some plants in our front yard. He showed with his team early in the morning at the date scheduled and by the end of the day the front yard looked amazing. They did a great job and he monitored the work. Although I was satisfy with it , he asked his team to redo some of the work cause he wanted it to look perfect. A very professional service. The owner is very flexible and customer centric. He listened carefully to our vision and the results completely exceeded our expectations. Thank you, Veth. We will definitely call you again for the back yard and the fence. This was worth every penny. Do not hesitate to contact him!

We had the team do our retaining wall and the fence 2.5 years ago. The door leading to the backyard is completely falling apart and doesnt close anymore and also part of the fence is falling apart. They also built a stairway leading up the second floor balcony WITHOUT ATTAINING CITY PERMIT. A rep doesnt show up for 30 minutes saying his phone died and waiting for his ride..that afternoon he said hell show up at 3:30 but calls at 3:15 to cancel because he had so much **** to do. The next day he said he will call with a good time to meet, I call him at 1pm but no answer.. Reviewers..excellent communication and professionalism ?? Not so much for us. I feel disrespected and ignored by this company. Just wish your fence and fence door last more than 2.5 years, or you are on your own. I just wish they put more effort in their workmanship. Let me save you the time and stress. Search around and select a company that will treat you just the same as you were treated when you hired them and after their work falls apart 2.5years later.

I would give them a 0 if I could. They treat disabled people poorly and then they would just lay all there work stuff all over the place to make it hard to walk around stuff. Every time they do some work they gotta come back and fix it. There should be more accountability towards landscapers and them not fellowing the laws.
Love how they make my backyard look amazing. Very professional listen to what the customer want attention to detail. I m very happy with the results.

My family has had a busy spring with two kids in sports. We fell very far behind on our yard maintenance. Veths had done work for my parents previously and came highly recommended. When I reached out via email I got a response on the same day, we scheduled a walk through on the following day and after finalizing the quote and scope they scheduled us for the following Monday. A 3 man crew showed up and knocked out all of the work with a high level of quality in 1 day. I was impressed. We had them remove some bushes that had become over grown, clear out all of the beds, trim the trees, install a flexible boarder between the lawn and garden space and place about 15 yards of mulch. All in a day! This would have easily taken me a month to do myself. They hauled all the debris away and left our property very clean. I will definitely use them again and have recommended them to some of our neighbors that liked the work they did.

I have worked with many other landscaping companies as a community manager for over 15 years at large apartment complexes. Veths landscaping service is the best I have seen. They provide excellent service which is very hard to find. They are always responsive- immediately- and the team will check in regularly asking for any areas that need attention. I have also worked with Veth with many, many special projects from landscape architecture, large property tree trimming, re-designing grounds, bark installation, and more. Their team is also fantastic in the midst of a snow storm. They offer plow services immediately and their crews have even helped with shoveling when I needed extra help. I thank you Veth and I thank your team! It has been a pleasure! 5 star service all around!
We had substantial work to be done in the backyard, and Veth and his team did a wonderful job to finish it on schedule. While other contractors either backed off or quoted us over a month to finish the work, these guys showed up every morning and got the work done in 8 days. They made sure we were happy with the work, and the guys were hardworking, respectful gentlemen. Glad to have done business with them.
The experience with VLS was great. I have (had) a very sloped yard full of blackberry bushes. I needed those cleared out and built retaining walls and level my yard to create some usable yard space. Veth was able to provide an estimate within a couple days of my request. The estimate was better than others I received. His team was able to start work within a few weeks of my approving the work. When the team arrived to do the work, I talked with the foreman Jose. After listening to what I was trying to accomplish, he made some recommendations to change my design. The end result was way better than I expected when I started this project. They were great to work with. I will hire them again in the future for other projects I have planned.
I truly appreciate Veths team and the service they provided in my backyard. It was perfect and just I had requested. I also appreciate them taking time wit do proper cleaning after the project was completed. I would recommend and use their services again.
We completed a major residential landscape overhaul with Veth s crew. The project kicked off and was completed on time. Communication was great and the entire crew (foremen, office staff, landscapers, and Veth) went above and beyond to deliver exceptional results. The crew was very respectful of our home and kept the property tidy throughout the project. They spotted some areas that needed extra attention and didn t hesitate to offer solutions. I am extremely pleased with how the project played out and impressed with our end results. I would highly recommend VLS.
Every step of the way there was a lack of professionalism, predictability and overall poor workmanship. We would be told one thing and something else would be done. Despite providing detailed specs and HOA guidelines, VLS did not comply. They were messy with the work and even tried to install turf that we did not order. I had proof because I had the send the sample and skew to HOA. They even were going to try to do a piecemeal job instead of one seamless piece. When we gave them a list of pending items for a walkthrough we got no response. They again and again used chipped blocks for the retaining wall, had glue visible all over the blocks, did not paint the fence uniformly, and every plank is placed unevenly without following guidelines. They would leave debris and nails, which even cost us an additional $1000 to replace our tires. I would not recommend VLS to anyone.

The owner is the most unprofessional, ignorant, and irresponsible person I have ever met. He didnt treat his employees right and never listened to a word I said. I would never reccomend this horrific place for your landscaping needs. Save yourself some time and find some other place.
Terribly unprofessional. He quoted one price then when the bill comes it was an extra 700 dollars. Wouldn t even recommend to my worst enemy.
Veths customer service was very subpar, didn t care for the quality of what he was selling me, seemed like he just wanted the money and to get through the job as quickly as possible. Not to mention the bid he gave me was outrages. I don t recommend working with veths landscaping service unfortunately it was one of the most unprofessional encounters I ve had.
Extremely unprofessional landscaping business. The worst landscaping company I have worked with in my 10 years as a property owner. Lackluster work and awful communication regarding my problems with the job. Please don t waste your time with these people.

Im a Property Manger and I have used VLS for about 10 years now! Veth and his team are very responsive and have great communication. The service they offer has remained consistent through the years. They keep our grounds gorgeous! We won Property of the year in 2019 with the Emerald Awards and in part due to VLS maintaining our landscaping so beautifully! Veths customer service is unmatched! I had the opportunity to work with the team from Veths on some landscaping services. We were initially going to only do a SOD installation, however after discussing the SOD installation and other landscaping options we decided to proceed forward with a different option. We had a flower bed in front of our home that needed to revamping more than the SOD installation and we needed some new pavers behind out home as well. Veth was very flexible with the change in our request and we were very pleased with the service and quality of the work that was provided. I do not have a niche for landscaping so they were able to provide some great suggestions on shrubs to use. The team reported on time and complete the work in a timely fashion. We are very pleased with the quality of the work in addition to the customer service provided as well. We plan to use Veths Landscaping Services for future projects as well.
