spring cleanup and mulching - excellent

This is our second season working with BAMs Landscaping. BAMs handles our weekly mowing, spring and fall clean-ups, bed-prep/mulching, fall aerating and gutter cleaning. Their interactive client portal is helpful in tracking upcoming and completed services, and for reaching out to the company with questions. Brett and his team are consummate professionals, always treating our property with respect, and doing the most thorough job. We truly feel like they treat our lawn as if it were their own. Thanks to BAMs we know we have one of the best looking properties on our street!

BAMs is the real deal. My wife and I needed to get our house ready for market. A huge undertaking for BAMs because our yard is by no means conventional and was over grown. Lots of slopes, hills, garden beds, and patios. B came out and immediately understood our needs based on our home going on the market. He explained BAMs pricing scheme and we agreed to a short term reoccurring service schedule for an initial BIG clean up and mulching followed by regular maintenance and beautification until the house eventually sold (above asking:). The teams that were dispatched to the house were on time and very professional, and were able to easily and efficiently take care of our property. One of the landscapers heroically fought off wasp swarm. Not all heroes wear capes, bless him. E, the operations coordinator, is responsive, professional, and very detailed. I cannot recommend BAMs enough. Well worth the money for top quality work and customer service.

I was a customer with this company for 4 years. And the whole time I was with them they never took money out of my account on time its supposed to be every 2 weeks but it was random and inconvenient. Their accountant is terrible and made a big financial mistake with my invoices and now they want me to pay the full amount of over $500 with no acceptation of partial payment. I tried to reason with the with the payments but no luck. They dont value their loyal customers so Im out

They are a great family run company. The staff was friendly, courteous, and hard working. From the first meeting with Brett to discuss our needs to the work days where the plan was visualized, it felt like working with friends. We try to work with local, family run businesses and BAM has not disappointed us. We recommend them highly.

I had BAMs do a fall clean-up and trimming of shrubs, bushes, and weeds. My yard looks fantastic! I will have them back to do a spring cleanup and adding additional services to maintain my lawn at its best.

Im a new customer of BAMs Landscaping, and I have to say Im very impressed. They came right away when I asked for a consultation on my disaster for a lawn. Their prices are very reasonable, so I signed up. The came for the Spring clean-up and our first lawn mowing without delay, and did a great job. I especially like, though, that when I call them for information, they pick up and are very responsive.

I really appreciate that any time we give special instructions they are followed by the team with no hassle which speaks to the dedication to customer service BAMs instills in their employees. The admin team has always been helpful with accounting issues and they are very easy to work with. I recommend using BAMs if you are in their service area.

Alright work, but I had to use a leaf-blower to remove lawn clippings they left behind because it would eventually kill my grass.

Ive been using BAMs for about three years--Bret and his team are knowledgeable, personable, and professional. Any rare issues Ive had with service have been addressed very quickly. Price is reasonable. Happy to support a small local business like BAMs.

My backyard in Rockville, MD was overrun with ivy that the last people I had cutting my lawn let go wild. It looked like a jungle back there and was climbing on the neighbors fences (they complained about that) and was choking the trees. It was chock full of Poison Ivy, too. BAMS Landscaping came to the rescue. Two guys ripped up all the ivy (back-breaking work that took 2 days) and they covered the lawn with plastic to make sure it was killed. Then, in the Fall they planted grass seed and this Spring I have a great lawn back there. While cleaning my gutters they warned me that my roof was in dire need of care, and I was able to get a new roof. They do great work coming every 2 weeks to cut the lawn and edge, etc. Very happy with their work.

I was very pleased with the BAM crews. I first used them when I had a complicated landscaping job and gave rather detailed instructions when I spoke to the office staff (who were nice and helpful but I wasnt sure if they got all the directions). When I came back from work, the crew was just finishing up -- they followed my instructions to a T. I have used them ever since for all my regular lawn work and have never had a major problem (sometimes they run late). The workers are always surprisingly polite and the office even calls sometimes ask for feedback to see how they can improve. After all the bad experiences and billing problems I had with companies before BAM -- I would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody in the Kensington area.

My parents in Kensington asked me to put in some research for a new landscaper in the area. BAMs came with great reviews... so it was an easy choice. Now my parents yard looks great and they rave about how easy it was to work with these guys.

I hired BAMs to perform a spring clean up at my Mothers house (lovely idea for a mothers day gift). The Spring Clean Up includes the cleanup of leaves, sticks, debris and hauled away. Clearing out flower beds of deadwood and trim/prune back any necessary shrubs or grasses. Any dormant weeds are also removed from the previous season. Furthermore we had them put in Mulch which included: Preparation of all beds (edging & weeding) and application of a smooth layer of at least 2 of double shredded hardwood. They were able to fit her into the schedule within about 2 weeks of us accepting the proposal (which was very late in the season to be fair). My Mom was thrilled with the work. One of the crew walked the entire yard with her to see which plants she wanted to keep and which ones she was most concerned with getting removed. She stopped by the house in the middle of the day and was so impressed with how well things were going she even asked them to take out a few small baby trees that were encroaching onto her driveway. They were very careful not to harm plants she wanted to keep. Will certainly be using them next year!

BAMs came to our rescue when our regular mower had health issues. They quickly responded, gave us a quote, and were out mowing our lawn within a few days. I love that you can pay online and simply be invoiced when the work is done. Super professional and also fairly priced.

BAMs provides excellent, first-rate service. I use BAMs primarily for snow removal, and have done so for the last several years. Without fail, and no matter how large the storm, they arrive in the middle of the night and clear my walkways and driveways of snow, and salt these areas. BAMs gives me peace of mind regarding the safety of my family and visitors, and my ability to get to work on time even in a snowpocalypse.
