I would highly recommend Garden Gates. Jesse, the owner is extremely attentive and sent pictures throughout the whole process. He started on time and finished early. His team showed up everyday on time and they all were extremely polite and professional! The end product is truly GREAT. If you need turf or landscaping use them!!
We've worked with Garden Gates for about ten years now. Every time we reach out to them, I get an answer the same day, and then every time we hire them the job is done when we get home and there's no mess. Jesse always has great information about what plants will work and thinks very much about what kind of a job it will be long term to maintain the quality of the arrangement. We just got a new lawn from them, and every morning I look forward to getting up to go water it.
Nice gardening! But more importantly, the gardeners that come to the Hermann-Grima house are so passionate about their work.
Our kids love the turf in the back - looks great and super easy to maintain. Jesse at Garden Gates has always taken care of anything that we need quickly and beautifully and he and his team are a pleasure to work with.
Jessee and his crew did a fantastic job with our backyard project. It was somewhat complicated requiring concrete work, irrigation, and lighting. He made our design ideas come to life and we couldn't be happier with the finished project. His workers were professional, and it was easy to communicate with them as the project progressed.

Jesse is easy to work with, responsive, and helpful. We were out of town during our turf installation and he kept us updated with photos and confirmed any questions. They were able to fit us in between other jobs and did the work quickly but perfectly. We are super happy with how our yard turned out, it truly turned it into a place we love to hangout. Would definitely recommend for any landscaping job.
We hired Jesse with Garden Gates to install artificial turf in our back yard. We have a large yard that doesn’t get much sun. Jesse was professional, responsive and so easy to work with right from the beginning. Very easy to communicate with via text and email. We got a few bids and they were the most reasonable mainly because they work right with the turf distributor company. The product is top notch and they got the job done in 1.5 days. Very nice crew of 4-5 guys who spent a lot of time making sure everything was right. We love our new turf and can’t recommend garden gates enough!

These guys are great! The love of design, plants and their customers really shows in their work. From the idea phase to long term maintenance my experience with this team is always an awesome one. They are my go to guys for all my plant questions and landscape projects! Update 2020: Still the best team in the New Orleans area for quality work and service! We had them install our play set for the kids. They created a nice level and safe area and we are more than pleased! Great job guys, yall helped us create an awesome space for memories!

Ordered a custom $500 fountain two months ago from this business. Suppose to be delivered two weeks ago. Just got an email with no explanation saying they cannot fulfill my order. Been waiting two months and now have to start over. Mickey Mouse, very low budget online business.
Ordered a couple thousand dollars of fountains and pots. Weeks passed and I received no update on order via email or link. No one answers the phone when you call their main number and when you do bounce to voice mail, the mail box has not accepted message because it it full. I have received an incomplete response via email to my question - wheres my order? - to date, GG cannot tell me when to expect it. I really hope GG will step up and call me to talk live about my order and get me an ETA or other workable solution. This has been a horrible experience that is holding up my landscaping project which is dependent on these items. Heard back from management - yes, I guess I posted to the landscaping company but it has the SAME PHONE # as the Garden Gates company I have been trying to deal with - and apparently same customer support. Why dont you just call me so we can sort out my messed up order? You have sent me a short email saying you will follow up but without any information on when I will receive any items in my order. Please pick up the phone and give me a call so we can sort out my troubled order and get this done. Thanks. 8/30: Still no update or courtesy call
This is my second post - relating to the purchase of a fountain which the owner has suggested in posting a follow up that my fountain purchase has nothing to do with the landscape company except - but for the fact that is not mentioned that this is the same company and phone number...I purchased a fountain and was never informed until after the delivery date that there was a problem with my order...after the problem was identified there was poor follow up for weeks and I cancelled my order as it was holding up my landscape plans. Now the saga continues as Garden Gates has promised a refund of my money but after a week and not returned phone calls or emails to process that refund. THIS COMPANY HAS A GREAT WEBSITE PRESENCE BUT ONCE YOUR ORDER THEY DONT CARE. More frustrating, I have agreed to take shipment on other items involving about $2,000 and still they dont care about me or my order.

After consulting a couple of well reviewed landscape companies, we settled on The Garden Gates to design and install a completely new landscape around the parking lot of our uptown veterinary hospital.This included lighting and irrigation. Jesse, the designer, was quick and accommodating with consultation and design and price was in line with and better than the other companies we considered. More than anything, the entire team at The Garden Gates was great to work with. They rolled with the punches when it came to coordinating with our general contractor, completed their work in the promised time frame and (most importantly) could not have been more pleasant. Our results came out beautifully and we look forward to working with the Garden Gates to keep everything looking great going forward. I cannot recommend this company more enthusiastically. Thank you!
I had (2) $50 gift cards from the Garden Gate store. Never received any communication in the marketing that stated that gift cards would no longer be accepted once the store closed. Called customer service several times when the cards did not work online. Each time a representative stated that they would look into this and get back with an answer. Not one representative called back. Waited over 2 weeks. Finally, called back for the third time and was told that my gift cards are no longer accepted. Asked if the gift cards could be reduced slightly but this was not allowed either. Guess $100 to a company is a greater value than gaining a customer.
My only experience is the Christmas tree service, but it is exceptional! Beautiful trees, well lit, and excellent execution and delivery! I highly recommend!
