Ricardo and his team were a pleasure to work with. Ricardo came up with a creative solution to our drainage issue and helped us to beautify our landscape all while keeping our budget in mind. I have changed this review 3 times now. They came back and turned my beds like they were supposed to and uprooted all of my plants and left them in the sun. They promised they would replace any plants that died. That has not happened. I won't change the review again. Now the beds they made for me were so poorly constructed they are cracking. Even I know how to engineer a wall so it doesn't crack. Jeez. No fake account jerk. Sincerely Cassandra Robin. Assume you are incompetent, then you will have it right.
Ricardo and his crew were awesome! Completely satisfied with the work that was provided and was faster than I anticipated. Was super happy to see that they cleaned up after themselves as if no one ever came. Would highly recommend giving R&O a call on your next project.
Around the first of 2023, I started inquiries with my yard service about issues that I wanted to address with my yard. I had three issues: 1) The yard had eroded near the side walk and driveway causing a tripping hazard. 2) The yard under the oak tree was not growing grass. 3) Absolutely no grass on the north side of the house by the gate, a muddy mess. Since they could not offer a solution, I began searching for a landscape service who could help. There were two camps: 1) apply fertilizer of whatever brand the company I was talking to or 2) resod. I choose to resod, which led me to R&O Landscaping. Although this was a small job, it is still expensive to me and I wanted to make sure the company I chose would provide value for my dollar. I had a number of questions for the 8 companies I interviewed. R&O check all the boxes. They provided a competitive estimate. They did not ask me to pay up front, I paid after the job was complete. They use their own employees, not contractors. If damage to the sprinkler system occurred or wires cut, they would pay for repair. They could arrange for a recommended company to install gutters. Their process did not use chemicals that could harm the environment or wild life (or neighbor’s puppies). Instead of simply asking me to provide pictures or looking my property up on google, Ricardo came to my house and measured, assessed the job for my property and listened to my concerns. Mid-June, his crew came out and installed the gutters. The team did an excellent job and took extra care around a tricky corner in the front. A week later, the next team came out to install the sod. It was a two-day job completed with no problems. The tripping hazard had been addressed, there was grass under the oak tree, and no more muddy mess on the side of the house. It was now up to me to maintain. Ricardo’s team came to the rescue once again. They came out like clockwork every other week to keep my yard mowed and looking good. Little did we know we were going to have the hottest summer I can remember! Moving into September, I was a little disappointed the sod had not filled in completely, but with this heat, it still looks good. Ricardo assures me, come summer it will fill in. However, I now had another problem. The side of the house we had not sodded was pulling away from the foundation. Ricardo and team stepped in to address this problem also. PLUS – Yes, there is a plus … He can do the end of the year tree maintenance. I had the recommended service from my old yard service maintaining my trees, but they stopped coming out during the pandemic. Plus, they didn’t quite manage my trees the way I wanted. I had a Chaste Tree and Mountain Laurel in the back that needed to be trimmed off the ground into a canopy. Plus, there was a Chinese Pistache in the front that had gotten so big, it was encroaching on the Oak. The city had already butcher trimmed the tree to where it was no longer pretty. Ricardo and team took care of these issues and others in a second visit. I’m so pleased with the results of these two projects, that I’m budgeting and planning for next year’s upgrades!

Our front yard needed a fresh look but we didnt know how to make this happen. We reached out to R & O Landscape for ideas. They have exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this company. Reached out to Ricardo and he promptly came out and discussed our project and offered suggestions based on his past experience. He was always prompt to respond when we had questions or changes. The guys were on time and their work was excellent. Would definitely use R&O again in the future.

We hired R&O Landscaping to put in some sod in a shady, bare area next to the house, and trim some trees. Ricardo visited with us and offered a much better solution. He suggested an Oklahoma flagstone walkway filled in with pea gravel. This was a great idea and it looks great! We re very happy with the results. We ve hired R&O several times now and they always do a great job at a reasonable price. Very ethical company.

R&O did some work on one of my rental properties. The quote provided was very vague and didnt provide a scope of work, so I had to request more description. They didnt show up when they initially said they would. I had to constantly call to get updates. The invoice never said anything about a 10% deposit, but suddenly I had to pay a deposit for them to start. I paid the deposit on my company credit card, and that was a mistake. Without contacting me to let me know the job was completed, R&O ran my credit card for the final amount without me signing off on the job, getting my permission to use my card again, or asking me if I wanted to use another payment method. Little did Ricardo know I have multiple rental properties. I will not be using this company again, and I cannot recommend them.
I highly recommend R&O Landscape Services. Ricardo is professional in all aspects of his business. He is quick to respond any time I need work done. I recently had new sod installed. The quote request was received within 24 hours and installed within a week. It has been 2 weeks to this day it was installed and it looks fantastic! I went with Palisades Zoysia...love it. R&O did a stamped concrete patio extension on my house and it is beautiful. Workmanship was excellent. They will be back to do two more projects for me (scheduling is tough with all the backup from the rainy period we went through). Looking forward to seeing how this vision works out. So far OUTSTANDING!
R & O has done multiple landscape projects for us over the past couple years, and this season we asked them to take over our weekly lawn service too. I have never seen a company so dedicated to the craft and detail of their work! From mowing the lawn, to planting shrubs, and doing masonry work, they always make the job look GREAT! The most recent project they did was installing a 100+ foot French drain with a flagstone path on top. It s beautiful, and functional. No more muddy side yard! Thank you R&O, y all rock! We hired Ricardo to do our landscaping, hardscaping, and to powerwash our house. His guy shows up 2 hours late because he needed to get a ladder for our two story house. Finally shows up starts powerwashi g our house and told him everything that needed to be done. First he powerwashed our siding and ended up chipping paint away from the siding. You can see the zip zags from the powerwashing on our fireplace siding. Second he missed several areas of the brick through out the house. Ricardos response was that my expectations for powerwashing were not realistic. Seriously who says that to a customer. I called another company out to get a second opinion. Company comes out and this is what was told to me by my second opinion. First siding does NOT get powerwashed it is supposed to be soft washed because powerwashing takes off paint. So I told Ricardo I didnt want his guy back at my house. Ricardo tells me that is his only guy for that job. So he offers me a discount so I can go with another company. We agree on an amount Ricardo sends me the revised invoice. My wife pays it and then Ricardo cancels the rest of our project right after we pay him for the powerwashing. So for someone elses lack of workmanship he cancels on the customer. What a joke I do NOT recommend this company. It seems things have to go Ricardos way if not he cancels on you.
We gave Ricardo a general idea of what we wanted and he told us what plants he thought would look best. His idea for the layout was great. There was a small miscommunication for the plant placement but Ricardo personally came out to make sure we were happy with the adjustments. We are very happy with the work and professionalism of everyone at R&O.
I recently had a pergola built by R&O Landscape. The end result was better than I could have even envisioned! Ricardo and his team were prompt at responding, worked with my changing ideas, ensured ideal results, and delivered the installation quicker than I expected. Very responsive, professional and super friendly. I had been trying to get a response from at least 3 businesses in Southlake to return my call for 3 weeks. R & O returned my call same day AND came by our property to give us an estimate AND I received the estimate later that same afternoon. They had us scheduled within a couple of days. They did a fantastic job, our property looks absolutely amazing and worth every penny. The crew worked hard all day. They checked with us before leaving to see if they missed anything that we wanted done. I asked that a couple of areas be trimmed back a little more. I was told by Ricardo that he selects his clients and I am not someone he would want to work with. I believe that is the rudest thing anyone has ever said to me as a business professional. I do not recommend this services as he is very rude and unprofessional.
Ricardo and the team completed our hard scaping last October - very large patio, arbor pad, corner sitting area and parking pad for our golf cart. They also prepped the planting area for spring. Our landscaping was finished last week. Ricardo kept in communication every step of the project. The team s attention to detail and willingness to listen to my ideas when installing made updating our front and back landscape projects much less stressful.

Amazing quality and service! Found R & O when I was looking to have Christmas lights hung. We were so impressed with their service and pricing that we hired them to do all of our landscaping. Ricardo is always extremely prompt in his replies and gets the work done quickly. Very pleasant and hassle free experience every time and throughout every project. Could not recommend them enough!
They did an amazing job on our backyard! He came out very quickly after my request and showed me pictures of what would tie in with my existing yard effortlessly, brought all the plants in and muched for a very reasonable price. I had two other landscapers come out, and they didnt have as great of a plan and were ridiculously overpriced. Also, this company didnt require a design fee like others I looked at. Finally i have my landscaper and will use them in the future!
I could not be happier!!! I needed serious help with my yard and after reading many reviews from many companies I decided to give R&O a call. Ricardo was great at answering my questions and providing ideas. I needed the front lawn sodded, large trees trimmed, stonework for my tree and flower beds, as well as a retaining wall built in my back yard. It took about a week for the work and Ricardo was great at keeping in touch with me by text and phone call even though I have a very difficult schedule. Now that the work is done I can finally say that I have a yard I can be proud of. And the cost was very fair. The stone work is amazing! My house looks like a completely different house. After being so impressed with Ricardo and his crew I decided to use them for my regular maintenance and Ricardo was happy to do it. If you need help with your yard I believe you will not be disappointed in R&O. Thank you Ricardo!!!
