Tried them for first time for summer lawn maintenance and had not one but multiple unpleasant experiences. I gave them the contract for lawn maintenance as well as spring cleanup which also involved removing weeds around the fence. They charged $125 per hour. All this is fine and was agreed but the way they were working (having 3 folks on job where only 1 seemingly was working and the other 2 were just sidekicks trying to lengthen the work but I was charged equally for all 3). Initial estimate before work started was to complete the job in 3-4 hours for entire lawn but 6 hours into the job and they have finished only 2 sides of the lawn. I had to step in and asked them to stop and paid them for whatever they have done. I then hired a different team on a separate day and they were 5 times more efficient than them and charged way less. More importantly, as part of lawn maintenance they were supposed to fertilize the lawn in spring which they missed (or forgot). This is when I asked them in August why the fertilizer were not sprayed (I had all footage from backyard camera) to which they said that they missed it and would do it next week. I made the mistake of sharing my credit card details before contract signup and they kept charging me for services they didn't perform (like fertilizer were not put) and when I confronted them with evidence, they refunded the amount in next billing cycle. I mean if you are giving a contract to someone, you are supposed to be carefree with the service but after the first botched attempt, they repeated it again. Not a pleasant experience with them. Their grass cutting was fine and I had no complaints with that but things that happened around that was a concern for me and I would think twice before hiring them again.
Very happy with the service from Ottawa Lawn Salon. The gang comes in and does a great mowing job. I don't have to worry about anything. Once a year in the spring I have a thorough cleanup done and so far it has been to my satisfaction.

I recently called on Ottawa Lawn Salon to clean up weeds and install some landscape fabric and river rocks under a small staircase-type deck behind my house. Very impressed. Omar came over the day after I called, and was friendly and knowledgeable. Work was done within a few days, and final result looks great. It's clear that Omar and his crew take pride in their work. Would recommend Ottawa Lawn Salon without hesitation, and will keep them in mind if I need more work done.
I recently hired Ottawa Lawn Salon to take care of my lawn, and I am very content with the results. They arrive on time, and if there is a change due to weather, they inform me promptly. The team did an excellent job mowing the lawn, ensuring an even cut and neat edges around all the walkways and flower beds. If I have a comment, they are responsive and attentive. This is my first year with Ottawa Lawn Salon. I am extremely satisfied with the professionalism, reliability and courteous demeanour of Isaac and his colleague. Our lawn has never looked better from a cut and trimmed perspective. Isaacs smiling response with no worries to any request is a breath of fresh air. He keeps us updated with a timely email if inclement weather requires rescheduling service. I have no hestitation in recommending them.

Excellent service at a good price. We use Ottawa Lawn Salon for lawn maintenance and, as required, garden maintenance which is also excellent. Haroon always communicates his schedule and notifies you when his work is upset by weather. He proactively discusses with you problems he sees and suggestions.

From the moment I hired this company to do my lawn cutting they have lived up to their promises - lawn mowing each week on a specific day. They do an excellent job - the lawn never looked so good. And they are also great at communication. If there is a delay due to a holiday or weather they email me with a heads up - I highly recommend them.

I really liked the servicr (it was done quickly and done professionally) I just didnt like that I felt really pressured into a contract for the season. Thats the only reason I didnt agree to the contract. Otherwise everything else was well done.

Wonderful customer service with a very responsive and professional staff. I hired the company to mow the grass every two weeks after my tenant moved out. They provided regular updates and informed me when they could not do the service due to weather. I was especially pleasantly surprised when one time they emailed me that upon arrival at the residence they noticed that grass had not grown very much and rather than mowing and charging me for a service that was not really necessary, they would come back in a week instead.
A young guy showed on time for free quote and promised he would send quotation at night. I waited for a week, no response. I called to follow up the status and found out they use the shared call service. The person in the call center left message to the company to call me back. But never happened. Not recommend. not very responsive.

This is my first time using a lawn cutting service and Ottawa Lawn has been fantastic! The staff are very polite and friendly; the owner followed up in person to make sure the work was done properly and to make sure I was happy. They are very customer oriented, even sent out a notice that some equipment was in for service and that clean up would be delayed but not skipped - that kind of open communication is lacking from a lot of companies. I wouldn t hesitate to recommend Ottawa Lawn Salon!

Was able to flag them down across the street and get my back lawn aerated when they finished with their existing client. They were done in 20 min, and I paid by email money transfer. Easy peasy.

Their slogan is true. They will impress you. Even a professional landscaper who was working on my neighbour patio was impressed the landscape job they have done around my house. The young workers worked late until 7pm to finish the job. Thank you.
These guys are really good at what they do. When they give a timeline they do their best to meet it. They go over the top to help you and give you advice on helping taking care of your lawn. I was overall very happy with their service and pricing is reasonable as well.

Last year I recd lawn mowing services late in the season onwards after my son left to university. They provided great service and did a very nice job. Had some difficulty getting in touch with the company this year as I suspect they are very busy and only have an automated attendant. However, I am looking forward to using their service again for the same timeframe.
