The two fellows who did May gardening at my place were very good. It seemed a bit new for them, but they were keen, and learned fast and were careful and cleaned up. I knew their names but now I have forgotten them. They were excellent. I gave this feedback to Cecil as well

I loved dealing with these people - the crew arrived, did their magic on our yard. They were all so friendly, kind. One of them had a conversation with my mom, whose grandfather went to same school as her! Just great people, hugely recommend.

I have contracted their services twice and attempted to a third time. No More!! Communication in Ottawa is poor. The owner does not live in Ottawa and has been unreachable on occasion. They dont offer services listed on their website hopefully they will fix this oversite. I got the sense that they did not want my business, maybe my yard wasnt pretty enough. If you are looking for a service that will do some of the work you dont want to have to do yourself and you have a small average property Makis is not what you are looking for.

Makis Mowing did a super Spring clean up of our property. Excellent. We are really pleased. The crew members were friendly, professional and attentive to our instructions. We will certainly be using Makis again!

We have used the services of Makis Mowing and More for a long time - well over 10 years. They have cut our lawn, cared for it, every May long weekend planted our flower garden and looked after it, planted trees and bushes, even replaced grass with river stone by the house where the sun never arrived. i cannot say enough good things about MakiMowing team. Last year they did excellent work redoing a front walkway in slab pavers, which involved unexpectedly digging up not one but two old buried walkways! Efficient, very high quality work. Work Site spotless. Kind and rapid communication and service! This year, 15foot high cedar hedge trimmed again efficiently, with all debris removed and friendly courteous team. Very good value for money. Try them! You will not be sorry.

Nathan did an amazing job levelling the brick walkway that leads up to our front door and built a new stone flower box for us. We really appreciated all the time and effort he put into going over all the different options with us. We were impressed by how detailed the work description in the quote was. Prices are a bit higher than your average guy with mower but the professionalism, focus on the customer and quality of work is worth every penny.

This my front lawn was destroyed by raccoons eating grubs . Yesterday a very professional Maki team arrived and 6 hours later a new lawn was installed . They are personable and efficient simply they know what they are doing. I would without reservation recommend the Maki team .

Nathan and his team did a spectacular job on our backyard. We had them come in to do a full resod on our large backyard as it was full of weeds. The physical labour to get this work done was tiring to think about and yet they finished the project in just 2 days! Very impressive to watch them work so hard to get it all done on time. They also brought in river rocks to transform our swing set in the back. Very easy to discuss with through email and very collaborative with the irrigation company we were working with to organize installation. Would undoubtedly recommend and will definitely call for future landscaping work!
