Naylor Landscape Management in Kalamazoo

The ABSOLUTE Worst in honoring their commitment. My parents hired Naylor Landscaping to complete fall cleanup, snow removal, etc. It is December and their yard is full of leaves and the driveway snow. I don t know if they CON older people out of their money or they are just a horrible company that falsely advertise their services. My parents have called to get them to honor their contract commitment without success. RUN from this company. Keep shopping around. Thank me later. Follow up- Thank you Judy for following up. After this review was posted the service has been completed in a timely manner. However, the fall clean up was less than par. My mother has spoken to a male in your office to resolve her concerns. I am hoping this will continue.

We hired Naylor to put in a front paver walkway. They did a great job! We want to particularly highlight the professionalism and expertise of Jeff who led the installation. He did a great job and we are very happy with the result.

First time I used Naylor and they did a great job on my landscaping project.

We had Jeff and Cameron remove a unkempt water feature/garden that was over run by weeds and had a broken fence. Not only were they timely with their work, they also helped move some debris and took the time to organize it for us. They were wonderful people and did an exceptional job!

I use Naylor for our weekly lawn care. They are consistent and do a great job. We also used them for a large landscape removal and lawn install. The crew was thorough, cleaned up the job site well, and were kind and courteous. One area of improvement (not worth deducting a star over, but worth noting) is that communication could be improved. I had to seek out my scheduled date for the removal on my own; and when the crew didn t arrive on the planned date, I had to call and ask what the status was, to find it was delayed.These things should be proactively communicated to the client, imo. But again, overall, certainly a 5 star company when considering their quality of work for the price.

Best decision ever made in having Naylor do our landscaping. First, they are really responsive to needs, suggestions and concerns as I determined what to do. Kudos to Brad for being so helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable! We are in our first phase with prepping the gardens to plant. The guys that came to prepare the gardens and enhance the area are amazing! Fast, experienced and very conscientious! Cannot wait to see the final result! Could not wait to share my thoughts of this great company! I would highly recommend them!

Given the extensive scope of my residential lakefront project, I chose Naylor Landscaping based on their experience and reputation. I was very pleased with the significant manpower that was dedicated to our project and as a result, they finished almost two weeks early on our eight week project. Their field crew was friendly, courteous, and professional. Their attention to detail and the quality of their work was exceptional.

Great work from the whole Naylor team in my landscaping project!

We recently contracted to have 12 large trees planted and a 160 foot long landscape area designed and installed at our home. The project was completed timely and turned out beautiful. Jeff and Armando did most of the hard work, with Riely assisting with the irrigation. The guys worked really hard for several weeks and did an excellent job! We are very happy with the completed project!

Use them for snow removal at the apartment we live in. Theyve barely worked this season and we recently had our first big snow. They were 6 hours late. And then they didnt remove any snow from the parking spots which are all ice now. If theres no snow they get paid anyways. First snow you should be on it like your business depends on it. A few years ago my spouse, who was caring for our lawn and snow needs, decided to go back to work and I was desperate to find a company to take of these things, especially considering we have a fenced back yard and we needed a company willing to push-mow our grass as commercial lawn equipment wont fit through our gates. Additionally, our driveway was poured in the early 1940s and was not designed to accept commercial plowing. The company I hired to do the work subsequently caused damage to said driveway and I regret going with the first service provider that came along. However, when I decided to make a change, I found Naylor Landscape. Yes, they cost more, but the extra care and attention to detail they show is well worth the price. Do yourself a favor, dont go cheap as youll end up regretting it, give Naylor a try first.

Uses too large of a mower; makes burn out marks all over the lawn; mows when it is not necessary; and mows over moss; does an uneven mow job on hills.

First let me say Naylor was the only landscaper that actually gave us a quote for this challenging job. Jim Geffen came up with an excellent design plan that fit very well with the surrounding landscape and the lakeshore. Terry and Michael implemented the plan perfectly! They worked hard everyday, sometimes in pouring rain, to finish the job on time. Communication was never an issue with Naylor. Jim answered all phone calls when he was available and returned calls promptly if he wasn t. Thanks Jim, Terry and Michael for a job well done! There isnt another company I would choose. The staff are remarkably knowledgeable, kind, patient, and efficient. All the jobs I have hired with Naylor have been to perfection, and if something breaks, same day repair!!! I dont waste too much time on price comparison because quality, delivery, and personalization is what is important to me and with Naylor, that is what I get - ask about the staff longevity - more kudos!

We have used Naylor Landscaping for snow removal and lawn maintenance for several years and highly recommend this family owned business!! They have provided reliable service and their employees are knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. Our lawn is more lush now than it was when we were doing it ourselves. The snow removal crew do a great job and we have yet to get stuck at home because we havent been plowed out.

Great company, very responsive and friendly. Kept all of our drives and parking lots salted and plowed during this late fall snowstorm. Never had to call them to come out, areas were plowed and safe before employees came to work.

They are both a customer and supplier for us. Their Christmas decorations are awesome.

Doesn t plow our apartment complex for, on average, one to two days after it quits snowing. Kendall Manor under Princeton Management. Doesn t answer the phone during normal business hours. Doesn t return messages from residents or complex Manager. Started snowing on 12/22. It s 12/25 and I doubt they ll get us today.

Our lawn care is managed by Naylor Landscaping. They have provided reliable and courteous service. Each of their employees presents themselves with a professional attitude and attention to the job at hand.

Brick walls, patio, firepit. Looks great.

An overgrown hedge at our front door was replaced, making our home entrance more inviting. An adjacent brick walkway insert that had sunk unevenly was reset. A downspout drain was tunneled underground away from the house to a buried cistern, which should eliminate a wet corner in our basement. Additional hedges were trimmed, and the area under a spruce weeded and mulched. The results were outstanding.

Naylor added and modified existing landscaping to our property around our home.

I have worked with Naylor landscaping for a few years and have received excellent service from them. Mike the account manager and Dave my crew manager have listened to all my needs and done their best to meet them. The staff is very hard working and professional. They pretty much run everything on my two acre landscape which includes flower beds and lawn. One thing that could be improved is communication regarding scheduling. The crew tends to show up unannounced and it can be disconcerting at times but maybe it is just me as I live on a very private road. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to hear. Naylor Landscape is the absolute best! They provide my excellent lawn care service as far as weeding and seeding but they also gave me a beautiful stone boarder landscape wich is beautiful! Repaired my irrigation system and the employees are excellent with assistance and advice.. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs a lawn care maintenance. Your lawn will be beautiful!

I ve been using NAYLOR landscaping for the last Six or seven years . I have to say that it s obvious that I have the nicest Lawn on my street and a lot of the credit for that goes to NAYLOR landscaping they really do a good job. When I do have an issue they really on top of it this past summer I had some Dollarspot it can happen to anybody. Barney the CEO/president/owner is actually the one that came out we walked every inch of my yard talking about different options The different plants new landscaping that I had done myself I mean you just can t beat customer service like that! I was frustrated and I very much appreciate the time and effort he put into fixing the problem and reassuring me that it was going to be taken care of. They will only be on a couple more times to do the fall cleanup they haven t made it yet but I m assuming they will be here soon. They definitely do a good job with that too and the fact that they come twice when a lot of companies only come once. Is another thing I really like about the company. If you re looking for a landscaper look no further!

They told us they would be very expensive, but that their superior service would be worth it. Well, the first half of that sentence was correct, as we paid three times more than we ever paid for fall leaf clean-up before. The second half however could not have been further from the truth. What an awful company to deal with. They did not initiate fall clean-up until the day before Thanksgiving because they couldn t find the contract paperwork that we had submitted at the first of the month. They proceeded to blow a huge pile of leaves into the street when they did arrive, but didn t remove them. After almost two weeks of inquiries from neighbors wondering why they had to negotiate this pile of leaves, I was finally able to contact them to find out that they had forgotten about completing the job. When they returned a few weeks later to complete the leaf removal and fall cutback, they cut back everything, including the things they knew were not to be cut. We had previously walked the yard with their representative who indicated that their experienced crew would know what to trim, and what not to trim. That was sadly inaccurate. We completed the paperwork they left for us to comment on our satisfaction with the job, and even though we submitted this form with our concerns, we were never contacted. As a result of this negligence, we will have no blooming Hydrangea in our yard next year. I submitted a letter of concern to the owner of the company regarding all of our concerns, and again received no comment or contact. Communication is non-existent, and I would caution anyone considering a relationship with Naylor s Landscape Management. There are too many other reliable and responsible companies in Kalamazoo to work with.

Over the years we have worked with Naylor on many projects. They do good work and are great people!

Very responsive but..... the price for fixing a few broken lights in our outdoor system was MORE then the original cost to install!!!!! I was shocked. What I thought may be a $300 bill (which would have been high ....but hey ....they actually called me back) was nearly $800!! I contacted Naylor and they replied with This covers the 3.58 man hours it took for a technician to drive to your home, clean the fixtures, straighten fixtures, replace the lamp(1), fix the flickering fixtures (3). That is CRAZY expensive. I feel totally ripped off -I cold have and should have gone on you tube and done this myself-

They will do a good job on your yard

Good work but they have self admitted poor communication, which I found out meant deception. Get everything in writing because they are not true to their word. Their workers pooped in my yard daily and they left me with a thousand dollars in yard damages that they would not fix after they were paid. Even the owners did not return my calls. They apparently leave their Honor and Christianity at home durning business hours.

Their lawn service is excellent, however, they came after I discontinued their service. Not once, but twice. Very questionable office practices and terrible communication.

Hired to remove snow. Came infrequently and in an untimely manner. Failed to respond to numerous emails and phone calls requesting refund. Very poor customer service. Would not recommend to anyone. Horrible.
