Landscaping Plus in Kalamazoo

They just finished an extensive project for my new home and I simply could not be happier! Great work, great follow up. Professional employees - who obviously love their jobs and do amazing work. I'm planning to bring them back soon for. Some more work - I could not recommend them more highly!!

I hired this company to come out and fix a retaining wall up front and two rock walls out back that had been done by two other companies. The other two companies did not do the job correctly and we continued to have issues with sinking and wash out and eventually the retaining walls were starting to fail. The other two companies that did the original work did not stand behind the work they did and we were left in a very bad place. Landscaping plus came out and took a look at the job and said that they could correct it and they could fix it so that we would not continue to have these issues and so that our walls would not fail. They came out and did the job in 5 days, fixed some other issues for us that were creating the washout problems. They worked very hard and their attention to detail was incredible and the work is absolutely beautiful. And the nicest part of all is they stand behind their work. If we were ever to have an issue in the future I feel confident that it would be corrected. But I am not anticipating any problems with the work they did. In addition to that we're now working with them on fixing some other issues we were having with irrigation. The owner of the company was out several times to see how the job was going which I was very impressed with. They have a good group of people working there from the person who answers the phone to the boss to the employees that came out and did the work. I am very happy with the service and satisfied with the finished job. I would hire them again in a heartbeat for any other projects I will need going forward.

We had a very good experience with Landscaping Plus recently completing a major landscaping project in a section of our country yard. They created a rock staircase, 2 tier stone wall, and landscaped then sodded our hill. The final results turned out exactly what we wanted, and mirrored the rendering created by Jordan. The team was hard working and communication by Steve was prompt. We highly recommend Landscaping Plus!

Really pleased with the promptness, communication, and professionalism of Landscaping Plus throughout the entire process of having our retaining walls replaced. Steve Atwood provided a detailed quote within 24 hours of visiting our home, and Steve Balkema kept me in constant communication about scheduling. Professional staff from start to finish!!! When I had questions about my project before and during the installation of my new sod lawn, I found both the salesman and the operations manager to be very responsive to my phone calls and or text messages. The communications between Steve the O.M. and myself was perfect. He was able to start my project ahead of the promised start date and followed up during and after the install. The installation team was ontime and very professional. Although there was a minor issue the installation team encountered while grading my lawn level. The lead guy notified his supervisor of the problem and Steve the O.M. came onsite to make me aware of the issue. I was extremely impressed with the fact he offered a immediate solution to address and fix the issue that would not alter the completion timeline promised. What a pleasure to deal with a truly professional and responsible organization. I proudly display the Landscaping Plus yard sign in front of my home. I recommend anyone seeking the services of this company to select them for their lawn project needs.

These guys did an amazing job with not only the general landscaping but with some problem areas around my home as well. Jeff consistently kept me informed of their on site progress, discussed and cleared plans before making final placement of materials, and was very creative in solving an issue with my stepping stones that arose from no fault of the company. His team (Shawn, Adam & Jonas) were very professional. They worked hard and diligently to complete the entire project much faster than I anticipated with exceptional quality. I also appreciated the teams respect of my property. They picked up each day before leaving to return the next, and ensured my gates were closed and locked so my dogs would not escape. This team truly went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with their work. It’s refreshing to see guys who take pride in the work they do. Steve Atwood was good at listening to what I wanted and created a solid design. We had a minor miscommunication at one point which he and Steve Balkema came out immediately to meet with me and solve right away. These guys were professional, started on time, finished early, did quality work at a reasonable price, and their original estimate was right on the money. I am extremely pleased with my project and would highly recommend Landscaping Plus to anyone who is thinking of getting any work done around their yard.

I highly recommend Landscaping Plus!! This is the second time (second property) that we have used this company to completely landscape our property. Items we had done were Hydro-seed, edging, rocking, mulching, ground leveling and more. From the initial phone call, until the completed project yesterday, my interaction has been nothing but incredible. The crew, Calvin, Sheldon and Tyler were excellent. All 3 were professional, accommodating, meticulous, thorough and patient. From the quick response of the initial quote by Steve A. to the oversight and thoroughness of Steve Balkema, they provided a smooth and efficient process with getting the job done! The crew arrived on time every day and worked hard the entire time they were here. Not one time did I see the crew just standing around talking. We are very grateful for the hard and precise work these 3 crew members did!! Top notch all the way! Highly recommend and we will certainly use Landscaping Plus again.
