I have had J and J caring for my yard - mowing and trimming - for 7 years. They’re very dependable, fast with immaculate care especially for edging and cleanup. These guys are usually finishing up with the yard by the time I realize they’re there. Very reasonable charges as well. Yes, I recommend this company for all your mowing needs.

Our landscaping was a huge mess and and disaster due to long term neglect by our previous service who we had just fired because of that. We weren't sure who to call, but now we are so glad we chose J&J. They were very responsive to our initial call, came right away, and did an amazing job in a highly professional manner. This was a big job - our lot size is about 1.25 ac, we have extensive landscaping on all sides of our house plus around our pool/deck area in the back. The landscaping was all solid weeds up to knee high, landscaping plants vastly overgrown and needing to be cut back to half their size, and all needing new mulch after the cleaning/trimming. The mulching alone took two large tandem axle trailers loaded with bulk mulch. J&J came on a Sat morning, worked an extra long day in miserable heat, and had most of the work completed that day. Then they came back on Sunday (!) and finished up. We are now again proud to show off our yard to guests instead of being embarrassed when they come over. Some more background - when I started looking for a new service and called/emailed several, many were slow to respond or didn't respond at all. I had seen J&J's truck/trailer in the area and got their number off of it. I also noticed and liked that they had add'l tools like ladders and rakes on their trailer which I took as an indication that they are serious about trimming and cleanup. So many services only have mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers on their trailers, and we didn't want just another quick mow, blow, and go lawn service like our previous service turned out to be. I was concerned about entrusting any company that wasn't recommended by a friend or that didn't have any significant reviews online that I could find (and why I'm taking time to make this detailed review), but calling J&J couldn't have turned out any better. They returned my initial call quickly, gave me a very reasonable quote shortly after that, and jumped right on the job after I accepted their quote. I just briefly gave them guidelines as to how much to trim off the plants and what we wanted done, and then pretty much just left them to do their thing, and my wife and I are extremely satisfied with the job they did. We'll be using them to do our ongoing lawn weekly mowing, leaf removal in the fall, and future landscape trimming/mulching.
