The technician was very thorough in servicing my lawn. He could not do the hill out front because it is very wet @ the bottom & would slide. His name was Frank, very friendly. Keep up the good work. I had problems last year with the worker, but so far this year, its been ok.

I ve been here for 25 years and I thought I was doing a good job until I let Tru Green do it and it s NEVER looked this good !!!

This is my 2nd full year with Tru Green. I hadn t been too thrilled with the service in the past. This year however my specialist has been Josh and I see much better results. I think it comes down to the person doing your lawn. Kudos to Josh on a job well done.

Used the website just to get recommendations for my lawn. They have since called me 5-6 times and one guy even showed up at my home without warning. I am sure the products are great but harassment is not. It may have not been this branch specifically but TruGreen as a whole.

He explained the hows, why s & what if s and such so that I could understand what to expect and when. All in all I can t say enough about James and I look forward to seeing him again. If I was on your management team, I would take care of James as he is a valuable asset to your company and probably the best advertisement that you ll ever have.

He is the best we ve received for our lawn care!! We are requesting him to be our lawn care specialist permanently. Our prior specialist treatments showed no change in our yard whatsoever.

Kirk arrived because I had ZERO results from my last 3 treatments. Kirk spent over 15 minutes treating my lawn. The last treatment performed by Harry was less than 4 minutes. I know because I timed him. Kirk did it the right way..professional and thorough! Night and day difference. It sad because I know they are timed and need to rush but unfortunately that leads to poor results and dissatisfied customers. The only way I will continue my service after being refunded for the past 3 thefts is if Kirk performs the lawn service. He is the real deal! He was appalled at how bad my lawn looked after THREE treatments and seemed personally disappointed at the poor work ethic of his peers.

They told me it was illegal to fertilize Spruce trees in Pennsylvania when I had already paid for a tree and shrub service, this was because they did not want to spend the time to fertilize all of my trees as you pay for a package not i dividually. Then the lawn care guy came and told me that he did not want to provide a service because it was fall, but again I was already sold this service. This branch is unprofessional, liers, and they do not want to work.

They were on time. My husband was home and found your tech to be very professional.

Will not return phone calls re a request for a quote

Cant get anyone to call us back to get an estimate. Must be too big for a small homeowner. Call local # it sends you to different stated. Took all the information about contact numbers and address. Never got the call back. Wont call them again.

Was told they would be out to my residence on Thursday and the dogs would need put away for a couple hours while the chemicals dried . After calling in at noon to see when technician would arrive, was informed appt. was moved to next day. Ive already lost a days work now and cant speak to anyone about this . This was going to be my first treatment for my house and for a business. Well they just lost 2 contracts before I could see the results . Next to Directv, this was the worst communication from a business ever. Off to Lowes for granular products for my spreader.

The primary problem with our residence was the back yard which has a lot of weeds, primarily Crabgrass. Have used Trugreen for 4 YEARS with only minor improvement despite preemergent and post emergent Weed treatment every year, plus Grub control, fertilizer, etc.; PLUS on my own I would spot treat weeds. Called the Customer service number 2-weeks ago, which of course goes to an outsourced call center; told them I wanted the local Manager to come out to our Home and explain to me why we still have so much Crabgrass. They set up a date, I waited all evening and no one showed up; no phone call, text, etc. to explain why; so I wasted the evening waiting for them. Called them back and they set up another day.....you guessed it no one shows up, wasted another evening waiting, but at least this time I got a Text saying were unable to complete your service. Called them back AGAIN, they said someone would come to our home Tuesday or Wednesday....you guessed it NO ONE SHOWED UP!!!! Wasted 2-more Evenings waiting. Plus NO phone call, text, email, etc. to explain why. So I called them today, cancelled our remaining service for this year and well never use them again or recommend them.

Good weed control fertilizer

Comically bad customer service. I ve been trying for TWO MONTHS to speak with a supervisor regarding my services. That is not an exaggeration. I have contacted the customer service number more than a dozen times and have NEVER received a return call from a supervisor. I was charged over $2000 and my lawn and tree services and both are worse than when they started. The sales person is Ed Krause. He personally guaranteed our lawn and trees would be significantly better after year one of service. He NEVER even came to our home to inspect it prior to selling us. He said he could just look at it from Google Maps. When I called to discuss the service with him, he quickly got off the phone with me and said he would call me back in a few minutes. He never called back and he still refuses to take my calls. The service technician who treats our lawn told me that the local branch office in Johnstown has no supervisor and that the position has been vacant since last March. I sent a complaint email similar to this review and have gotten no response. I am writing this with the faint hope that someone from TruGreen will read it and reach out to me. However, it is extremely doubtful that anyone will give me any advice other than to call the customer service number again so I can spend 20 minutes on hold again to recap my complaint again and be ignored again. I doubt I have any recourse other than legal action at this point. Avoid this company like the plague. Use any other lawn service and count your blessings it isn t TruGreen.

This was arguably the worst experience of my life when it comes to home maintenance. Where to begin we recently had some work done to our property that involved tearing up our grass. After said work was completed and new grass was planted we hired this company to help and improve our lawn. Big mistake. Our bare spots and weeds continued but the grass seed they threw in our stone driveway and landscaping seemed to thrive. After each service there was a complaint. All they wanted to do was send someone else out to redo said service. I wanted grass to grow in my yard, not my mulch and or driveway. I guess that s asking too much. During the last service the tech insulted my wife and blamed our grass problems on our English Mastiff . He also suggested we use new soil and mushroom manure something they don t provide. So what am I paying you for? Not only have you lost a customer you ve now gained an enemy. Stay away at all costs. You d be better off doing literally nothing. Although if you want grass to grow in your landscaping I think you d be happy.

Do not bother getting them for your lawn or applying to work at this place, my fiance was fired after a year out of the blue without notice at all and never received the bonus they worked extra hours for. They also had illegally made my fiance go across state lines multiple times. They dont care about customers/ employees so really dont bother with any of this. If i could put 0 stars i would! John is a terrible manager and should be fired. (johnstown PA)

I originally signed up for just a grub treatment and was very clear that I did not want anything else. I subsequently received a bill for over $600 for their entire program. After making several phone calls I was finally refunded all monies back with the exception of the grub treatment which was $83.95. They said the grub treatment would not be applied until the end of May. I said that was fine. The end of May came and went with no treatment applied . I called the second week of June about this treatment and they said they would have somebody out to apply the treatment the following Tuesday. Tuesday came and went and no grub application was applied. I called the following day and canceled all services. I would not recommend Trugreen to anyone.

Service is fine, but the upsellimg harassment is unbelievable. I have had to block multiple truegreen numbers. Expect weekly calls trying to sell you more services. I have asked multiple times to stop calling to no avail. This will be last season with you.

We have only had one treatment but you can see the difference and it is quite an improvement . The service people are quit friendly and good at the job.

I left them my phone number and now they will not quit calling me for months they have not stopped even after I have repeatedly told them quit calling me obviously I have to get a hold of the FCC and the better business bureau dont ever give them your real number

The guys come in and do their effectively and with care. They are friendly and professional always.

Was a very excellent choice having their service !!!!!!!!!!!!! Their team are very excellent to fix all problems. With your yard answered all crazy question about diffrent weeds how and when to water newly grown grass. Would recommend this wonderful company! !!!!!!!!!!!!!

First off I was signed up with Scotts Lawn care and not Truegreen. I was never notified that they merged. There is weeds and such growing in my yard that never was there before they starting service. The last time they serviced my lawn, they manage to kill the grass mainly in the back yard and spots throughout the front lawn. The neighbors who do not have lawn service, their lawns look much better than mine. I do not cut my lawn short, I keep it on 6 inches until late fall. I am very very disappointed in the way my lawn looks. I have some type of weeds growing that since Ive owned this home was never there. Will I continue to use this service? More than likely, no!

I am extremely satisfied with the overall service and excellent results provided by TruGreen. Our lawn has looked very thick, green, and lush. The difference between our lawn prior to TruGreen treating it and the way it looks today is like night and day. Another major factor in the outstanding quality and appearance of our lawn is due to the fantastic service technician named Bart Patrick who has been treating our lawn for several years. He is very thorough and never misses treating any areas of our lawn. He also is extremely polite and will answer any questions that we may have. He also provides excellent tips on maintaining the perfect lawn. As long as Trugreen maintains the high quality of care and outstanding service technicians, then I will be using their services for many years to come.

My service is always complete quickly with very courteous technicians. The quality of the service is seen with the exceptional growth of my nice healthy lawn.

Trugreen has done a wonderful job servicing my lawn and shrubs for the past few years. Very friendly and professional

Late last fall I had expressed my disappointment in how my lawn looked after having been a customer of yours for several years. The representative that I have been working with to resolve my concerns is very friendly and professional and she sent someone back out to do a weed retreat but since it was late season I was not able to see the results. I am hoping that if we get off to the right start this spring we will be able to get the weeds under control and stop fertilizing a yard full of weeds but time will tell.

Corey was courteous and quickly treated my lawn. He asked if the dogs fenced in area got treatment and I said yes. He reminded me to wait about an hour before allowing the dogs out in the area. I told him that I was getting encroachment of weeds from my neighbors so he paid extra attention to the edges of my property. My lawn looks good although I have a mole problem.
