No one and I mean no one, myself included, would expect an establishment to definitely be able to come and provide services such as salting, sanding, and plowing on the same day as a call. However, major loss of style points for telling me you were going to call back to give me a definitive answer and never did. I value the professionalism of someone doing what they say. I don’t remember with whom I spoke, but she said she would give me an answer by end of business.
Absolutely love this place! 1000% recommended for any mulch, sand, landscaping material etc. We went there, and our trailer tire came off the rim! Their employees jumped right to our rescue and helped us get it on the rim, plugged our tire even, and got us back on the road! God bless them and their kindness!!! ♡ the guys are very knowledgeable! We wasn't sure how much sand to load on our truck and everything. And they knew just every question we had! Lol. Very good people!
Milkies has completed a great deal of landscaping work at my home over the years and just knock it out of the park each and every time! Couldn’t be happier with how they bring my visions to life. Great leadership, professionalism and communication always provided by the leaders of these crews, George and Dustin!
I had Milkie's redo my back yard. They came out and provided an estimate, arrived to complete the work in a timely manner and were friendly. Most of all, my back yard is flourishing again and looking great. I also purchase my mulch from them every year. Their delivery guys are always pleasant and careful to place my mulch exactly where I ask. Can't say enough great things about them!
They are disrespectful plowing snow. They have gone in my yard four times now that I have seen and watched. I have put up road reflectors and they just run them over. I have called them and nothing has been done. These people have to go over a road hump and then into my yard. Update: I have viedo of the marking of 1st and 2nd time. Which I sent to you in an email. Clearing I care about about my neighbors but you are not going to ruin my property doing it. And you have called random people and left messages regarding this situation and it was't even me. You guys don't even find out if the people live out at property before you even give out any information. The point is have your drivers do their job and stay off other peoples property.
The service here is great, from the front desk to those who load your vehicle. The machine operators are top-notch and do a great job loading your truck with care.
I called Milkie’s for plow service after our last major snow storm. The receptionist was friendly and polite. The plow driver was extremely nice and made sure I was completely satisfied with the work he had completed.
I called and got 6 cubic yards of mulch. Good quality. Black die was well applied. My only disappointment was when they didn't show up on the agreed day, no call, no reschedule. I had to call them. Poor customer service. When I called Saturday they did show up as agreed - redemption. The guy they did the drop was friendly.

Fantastic company, on time, very professional and affordable.
Cant say much yet for their fence installation or landscape supply, but they were more than happy to supply me with what I needed to build a chain link fence drag way cheaper than I could possibly buy a new one.

Large selection of mulch and gravel
They gave me a quote that didn t include all the work and materials that would have been included in the finished product. Then, they charged me extra for additional work and materials that should have been included in the original quote. I asked them to provide me with another copy of the original quote and they refused.

Very unprofessional. Go elsewhere I mean any where else I would pay a 10 yr old to shovel my driveway before I give these clowns money.
Great place to find parts for kerosene heaters. Very knowledgeable. If they dont have a part they WILL tell you where you can go and get it. Very personable. Prices are decent, and the guys down there know what they are doing.
Last Augest called for a estimate young man came up I wanted a 3 row circle wall appox 30 ft plus so yard leveling 3 weeks went by so I went down to there office to pick out type of block I wanted , man it the desk told me I would get a estimate on every type of stone they have when it wast written up still havent got it my guess they lost a 3 thousand dollar job

Called for an estimate on a privacy fence two months ago it took three weeks to get someone to call and look at the job never heard back from them
Boo on u, said u had split faced 4 in. block and even gave a price. Went down there, the guy working had no idea. So he told me to look myself. Waisted my afternoon. Thanks for nothing!!!!!:(:-[

Most professional landscaping outfit in Johnstown. They actually return your calls and show up to give quotes. I ve been using them for almost four years now. The guys that have done my and my mother s yard have always been extremely courteous, eager to please and do a great job. I ve used them to cut grass, plant shrubs, put in a lawn and do yard clean up in the fall. They also have the most wonderful woman, LuAnn, working in the office - she s super nice and flexible when you call in with a request. They have a good billing set-up - you can use a credit card and they don t charge a fee to use it like other companies in Johnstown. George, the owner, is great, too. Always goes out his way to make sure requests get done in a timely manner. Highly recommend them.

After being 3 weeks late to do a job, we got an endless promise of maybe in a couple days. I called to see when we could get it done (open our pool and we already lost a month), and the owner answered. He proceeded to yell at me that he cant predict the weather (its actually one of the best ways to do work for a landscape company when its raining) and then after other yelling (I was crazy calm) he said that he didnt even want my business and I should consider what he is doing for me a favor
The people there arent particularly friendly or knowledgeable. They didnt seem to know their own products. The second visit was just as disappointing as the first. Its fine for getting ideas but I wouldnt buy anything
A little pricey but the employees are nice and pretty helpful. We get our mushroom mulch here and dirt. Its of good quality.
