My family and I recently utilized Rice Landscaping for work in both our front and backyards - in particular some clean up to our mulch with updating and replacement of our stone border as well as full regrading, raking and seeding of our lawns. What stood out to me was the professionalism and communication skills displayed by Tim throughout the process. I never regretted my decision, they did an awesome job with the designs, super excited for them to work on it.

Our home had been the eyesore of the block until Rice Landscaping did an incredible makeover of the front garden area. It now looks fantastic! Tim listened to our vision of what we wanted and gave us recommendations on how to achieve the look. We needed to conform to some HOA guidelines and Tim promptly completed the paperwork for that. Wow. I just walked around the property after Rice completed an overhaul of our flowerbeds, trimming of hedges, weed cleanup, etc and I am speechless! The amount of care and precision this team took was well beyond the norm. I wish I could show you before / after pics, but the before was too bad to photograph. Tim and his team brought life back to our home, for that we are eternally grateful and remain very happy customers :-) The price was the best of 3 estimates, yet the completed work is well beyond what I expected. My wife and I just used Rice Landscaping to, in our words, to fix, our backyard, which was an overwhelming mess of exposed tree roots, stumps, craters, weeds, etc. Tim took the time to evaluate our issues several times and to listen to us on what we wanted to see happen, to have a beautiful backyard for our kids to play. Tim and his crew did an amazing job for us, in no time at all, including grading around our garage, which is on a fairly steep decline from our neighbors properties, with drainage being a significant concern for us (this was no easy job!). We are very happy with the solution Tim and his crew came up with and with the work they did. Tim is very kind and personable, he truly cares first and foremost to make his clients happy. We will certainly be using Rice Landscaping again in the very near future, and we would recommend anyone else in the general Abington area looking for any level of landscaping, yard maintenance, etc, to give Tim a call.

We also do landscaping in Montgomery County. I was having trouble with equipment during the snow storm. Tim came thru at the last minute and helped us to fulfill our promises to the client. Tim did a great job and treated the property like it was his own. Really grateful for his help and couldn t recommend him more.
I called for an estimate for my yard. Unfortunately they do not service my area. However the owner did call back within 24 hours and he suggested another company. I appreciate his thoughtfulness and the speed in which he got back to me even if he wasn t going to do my yard. He sounded very polite and considerate on the phone.

Tim Rice has been taking care of my grounds for a few years now. Ive gotten to know this impressive young man. His work ethic is uncommon today, especially for someone his age; a compliment to his parents, whom I have never met. Im old enough to be his grandfather, so I have some life experience. That enables me to appreciate Tim and his work as I do. His business model is not based on production and volume at the expense of quality. Yesterday he was here planting mums and transplanting a large hydrangea. The crew my next door neighbor has for front and rear lawn cutting was here at the same time. They did the job in 5 minutes. Without a word from me, Tim said Look at this. Are you kidding me? They left grass clippings all over my side of the driveway. Tim put his blower on his back and took care of it. The next time they show up, we will have words. Nuf said. You get the point. Get Tim Rice. He even does installs outdoor Christmas lights.
We used Tim all season for lawn care and was very happy with the service. The price was fair, lawn always looked great and payment was easy. I ve recommended him to neighbors and family and would recommend him to anyone.
