Would definitely not recommend for many reasons. A lot of empty promises and no follow through. For example, my lawn looked terrible (lawn looked great prior to going with Weedman, however the cost was drastically increasing so I went shopping and seen that a neighbor was using Weedman. They also cancelled their services.) the first year using Weedman, my lawn looked pretty rough. I was promised by both the sales team as well as the service tech that they would be out every two weeks until the lawn was in great shape that never happened once. I had to constantly call them, and everytime I would speak to someone they would say I will add this to the notes for your account, yet everytime I spoke with someone and said reference the notes, there weren t any. The excuse I received from the service techs was that they were extremely busy and stretched thin. I cancelled them after year one, but gave them another chance as they offered me two applications for free . Lawn still looked terrible the entire year. Same things over and over again the next year, so I dropped them. I never had good support or service from them, but there salespeople call all of the time still trying to sell stuff even after I ve told them I ve cancelled everything and have moved on to another company. The service tech Matt was extremely polite and supposedly one of their best techs. However, my lawn has never looked worse.

I loved how they explained everything about their fert because I have a babysitting company and I have kids on the lawn every day and I wanted to make sure it was safe for them!

I used this company for more than 2 years. Different services from weed control to aeration enjoyed the service. Had to cancel this year due to the price and felt I had given ample notice and appreciation for their service over the years. Since then I have received numerous calls inquiring on when I would be rejoining their services. Twice in this week alone. I would tell everyone to beware hiring this company as they do not take no for an answer.

I can t get over how much better my experience with Weedman has been than all my previous services. My technician Tyler is very efficient yet thorough. Whenever there s a problem or concern they take care of it for free and seem to take real pride in there work. It s rare nowadays, but this company deserves the 5 star review easily.

Sad to say I would not recommend this company. The employees are very unethical and dishonest. The reviews are padded by friends and relatives. Much better trustworthy companies in the area, locally owned, not franchises with bad reputations. Look elsewhere.

Working with Weedman was a great experience! I have had so many issues with weeds in my grass for so long, and because of their help I am finally seeing a huge difference. I appreciate the hard work of the technicians and the friendliness of the customer service reps. They have they made this such an easy process for me!

Walked up to Mason while he was working on a neighbors lawn. Was not having good service with the company I was currently with. Mason was personable and informative and ended up getting to my lawn same day. Cancelled my other service on the spot. Can t say enough good things about him and everyone else I ve dealt with at Weedman so far

This company was absolutely terrible to work with. Multiple times they claimed to have treated the lawn and clearly had not even entered the fenced yard. I requested they call me before service was done to prevent this and they never did but they loved to call with unwanted upsells. My yard saw no improvements at all, I believe the weeds and overgrowth got worse even. Today was my final prepaid service so I can unfortunately finally be sure they are not going to make good on any promises offered. Huge mistake to use them, would absolutely deter anyone I know from trying them out.

First off they provided the service that they said they would when they were supposed to. The reason for this review is they dont listen at all to their customers and lie about turning off you auto renewal and cold calling for extra services constantly. After the first year i decided the cost wasnt worth it and opted not to renew. They renewed it anyways so Im like ok fine, maybe i made a mistake and took the next years service. I requested to NOT auto renew again and they assured me they would not. Then this year I get another auto renewal notice. After being assured this was turned off. Then the cold calling for extra services. Numerous times they called my Wife who, every single time, told them call my husband, not this number yet they just kept calling anyways. Then they started calling me multiple times about the same extra services which I refused and asked them to stop calling about them. They assured me they would and didnt stop. I cancelled all services this time and hopefully thats it. If you cant listen to your customers and lie about turning off auto renewal you dont deserve my business.

Had some problems in 2020 with poor service and applicator not listening to warning about lawn, but that was resolved acceptably. This year I receive a call to apply first application in late March and asked if it could be applied later in week to which I was told yes. No show or call later in week and no call since (6 + weeks) despite my leaving two messages requesting a call back. Today I finally called and left message to cancel service.... 3 minutes later I receive a call back saying service canceled. The only prompt part of the Weedman business this year was to confirm cancelation. Must be nice to have so much business that you dont really need to be responsive to customers.

Call and you get a response. You have to use the services they provide outside of your basic. They will do all kinds of tests and spot weed spray pretty much upon request. Its part of your fee. If youre unhappy with Weedmans service your not using them for all your needs. Look at the website and youll see what comes with your annual service and what you have to pay for outside.

Weed Man is a fine lawn service weve been using for years and wed highly recommend them. Their service is very dependable and their prices are reasonable, too.

Called to explain their driver was peppering vehicles on the highway with fertilizer in a less than closed spreader barely hanging on to the back of the truck only to have this business hang up on me. Haven t done business, definitely won t; certainly would not recommend the business based on practice alone.

They came out to our door last Thursday and a canvasser from the company asked only for my phone number after offering an estimate. Last Saturday, I got a call from the owner who said he would have a quote in my email by 2pm. Wednesday I got an email from the administrative assistant with the free grub control, but the treatments were higher than we agreed on Saturday. I don t feel this is a good start to a business relationship, so we ve gone in a different direction.

They missed multiple scheduled treatments and did not follow a conventional weed treatment schedule. They also skipped a portion of my lawn about 3 of the 4 times they did show up. As the only positive, when they did show, they were cautious of the newly seeded areas.

Back before COVID someone had come to my door canvassing, and unlike rejecting everyone that does that, I made the mistake of giving them my phone number. The first call went alright and I said if they wanted to send me a quote via email that would be alright. Not needing any services I declined to accept and told them that I would not be in need of any services. The next month, about a week after my child was born, I awoke to a voicemail about services happening in the morning. Thinking it was a wrong number, I just paid no attention to it because I had more important things going on. The following month I received another voicemail, returned the call, and left a message stating that I never requested or agreed to them servicing my lawn and that any services that they may have done without my knowledge would not be paid. Thankfully, no additional services were done, but I received a bill in the mail a few weeks later. This bill was for services in May, that I never agreed to not knew of, and late charges. I have not and will not be paying for something I did not agree to, and have since had to block their number due to the number of calls they were making during my normal working hours. Purely on this experience I would never use nor recommend this company to anyone.

Very good company. Extremely knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile to help or correct a problem. I cant recommend them enough. Fair prices and fast efficient service. I would give them 6 star review but Google only lets me give 5

I call and to get my phone number off the automated system as I no longer need their service and an hour later I get a call from the weed man! I mean come on!

Soooo angry, do not even speak to someone from this company! Someone came around last year asking my husband about lawn care. He asked them to call and set up a time to talk when I was also home. Next thing we know, our yard had been treated WITHOUT our consent and without a contract, and we got a bill in the mail. Call them, tell them were not paying it. Then maybe a month later, we come home and see another sign in our yard that it has been treated. And another bill with both charges on it. Have called and argued with them several times. I say argued because each time they say services were received so we owe the money. After last conversation (maybe end of year-ish), we didnt hear anything from them and think its finally resolved. Then last week get another invoice in the mail, this time with a late fee attached. Total scammers! Stay away!

Good service reasonably priced

Used weed man back in 2016 was happy with what they did decided to use them this year signed up for 6 treatments they did three applications last one in April have not returned called them on Wednesday and talked to manager he apologized and said they would be out by Monday still no show upset with customer service will be looking for different company next year its to bad when they do show up they do good work

This is my third year with Weed Man. I have gotten more compliments about my lawn than ever before. My lawn was having major issues early in the season and I felt that I was made a high priority because of that. Brett really took it upon himself to make sure I was a satisfied customer. I definitely am! If your lawn is looking rough I would definitely recommend giving Weed Man a call.

I have never experienced such poor service from a company. I called them to set up 6 applications. They were friendly and nice to work with and let me know they would have someone out within a week. After 2.5 weeks I called and asked what was going on and the lady apologized and someone came out three days later. None of the weed control did anything after two weeks so I called them back to have some weed control reapplied. Again, the lady assured me they would have someone come right out....that was over a month ago. This is a very disorganized company and I would highly recommend AAA Lawncare.

The prices advertised were not accurate. I would often get notices that I had weeds that would cost me extra to treat my lawn for. Consistent crab grass issues amongst other weeds. I wasnt happy with the service and was told they would send someone out to check my lawn and re treat it; they never showed up. They demanded payment, wouldnt reconcile the issue and became rude over the phone. Definitely would not reccomend this service.

Need a weedman sign also outside of building

We signed up for lawn service with Weed Man Lawn Care in 2009 after not being able to get rid of Clover in our backyard. Yes we were skeptical since we had always done the lawn on our own and we are Dutch in our spending, thought it was a bit expensive but after seeing the results in the clover being gone after the first season and how good the lawn was looking compared to what we could do on our own we were convinced. Highly recommend this Company what they promised us is what they delivered!

Two weed killer applications last Summer were guaranteed to kill Violets and Virginia Creeper. And the company would clean up and re-seed the lawn in the Spring for $100 more. Now its Spring and they dont do clean up except for on-going mowing customers. And the anti-weed guaranty is for one season only. Better look elsewhere for integrity or get service agreements in writing if you deal with DeVries Landscaping.
