I had gotten behind in caring for my yard and knew I needed help. I asked a friend who did the best yard work in our neighborhood. He recommended Nolagreen. I contacted Mark on Sunday and he was at my house that afternoon. He did an assessment and gave me his recommendations. When he quoted me a price I immediately agreed. I knew I would not get a better deal anywhere. And I saw how great a job his team had done on my neighbors yards. His team came out the next day and within four hours transformed my lot into one I was immensely proud of. They trimmed my trees, my shrubs, edged, ran the weed eater, and mowed. The team were extremely friendly and worked the entire time they were here. As a follow-up to my above post, after the last storm the 22 year old tree in my backyard was caught in a strong wind gust and damaged beyond repair. I contacted Mark and he sent out his team to cut down the tree. They cut it to a short stump and hauled the debris to the curb. He then contacted a contractor to grind my stump to the ground. They did an outstanding job. Im very pleased. I look forward to a long term relationship with Nolagreen! After Hurricane Ida My house was all but destroyed by Hurricane Ida. Mark came by and looked at the damage. He also cautioned me (warranted) about the crew I hired to fix my roof and fence. Mark is a very religious man and cares about others. I discovered that he has a strong background in real estate and rebuilding houses. Mark offered to help me gut the house and rebuild it. It was the best decision I ever made. He was a Godsend to my wife and I. While many of my neighbors were still waiting for a contractor Mark and his crew were working hard on my house. With all the inevitable delays waiting to get our insurance payments, he was patient and worked with us. When no rentals were to be found after the hurricane, Mark put us up in one of his properties! It was a win win blessing. We discovered that he has a keen eye on what is trending and was able to guide us through selecting paint, and materials, and the rebuilding process. He kept us informed on his progress and would sometimes call later in the evening letting us know he was checking on building materials. While insuring we had the best materials, he actually saved us money. When he finishes we will have a house that we cant wait to show off to our neighbors. I would recommend Mark and NolaGreen with great enthusiasm. He told me once that when we turned our home over to him he took it seriously that we trusted him to fulfill our expectations. Well...he surpassed them!

Unreliable. Mark and his crew repaired an irrigation leak, checked out the system. I m hiring them to do yard maintenance as well, they re going to maintain lawn and beds. They were responsive and professional, at least initially. After several visits, lawn and plant beds were much improved. I was pleased with their work, and I told Mark so. However, after a month and a half of (sometimes) weekly maintenance visits, they stopped coming. Mark has stopped responding. I texted him several times. He promised to put service agreement in writing but never did. Then he stopped responding. I don t know why he decided to ghost me. When they were here they did a good job working on trimming and weeding. Not so good on the small lawn, that developed large bare spots. Mark should have at least had the decency to tell me they wouldn t or couldn t work for me anymore.

Mark was very responsive, and thoughtful. He helped me troubleshoot a couple of issues with respect to in-ground irrigation, and a hardscape / drainage solution that was bugging me. He and his team were very responsive and easy to work with. I will go with NOLA green for maintenance as well.

Mark Arenales and his crew were a lucky find for me several years ago. They proved to be totally reliable and efficient workers at yard work, trimming palmettos and wall vines, clipping bamboo, raking plant beds and clearing the yard of leaves and out-of-control vines. Lately they have cleaned out my rain gutters and trimmed tree branches away from my roof. I completely trust Nolagreen to do any and all outside work at a fair price. Mr. Arenales is my idea of an ideal contractor: totally responsible and communicative. I understand that Nolagreen also does inside renovations. If I had that need, I would call Mr. Arenales first.

I have a condominium with an outdoor 40 foot deck in the Warehouse District that Mark has managed, planting flower boxes, flowerpots and decorative shrubbery. This is a great company. They came out and gave me a free quote. I told them my ideas and what I was looking for. They had some suggestions and we got to work Together with them. They gave me exactly what I was asking for. They were always on time and very courteous. As the project progressed they kept me informed. The irrigation system is amazing. I told him I wanted a Versailles type garden and they knew exactly what I was talking about. If I had any questions I could text them and they would call me right back. We had an issue at one point with the irrigation and they came out that day and fixed it. I Would highly highly recommend this company if you are looking for an honest and fair priced job.
