I had high hopes for this company, given the strong reviews and early responsiveness of Melanie. She answered my many questions before I put down deposits for a spring cleanup and weekly mowing. I had scheduled a previous fall cleanup with another company but they never showed up. When leaves stay on the ground over winter, they’re harder to remove, but that’s the job Melanie bid on after walking the property. The results of the cleanup was substandard in comparison to previous cleanups by another company. Jamison’s crew left a lot of leaves on the lawn, stuffed under the shrubbery, and sitting on top of the hedges. They blew a large amount of leaves onto the neighbor’s lawn. As the work day was coming to an end, they asked if they could just mow over the remainder. I agreed when they told me how small the leaf bits would be but the mower did NOT chop them as small as promised. Plus, the mower blade was dull and shredded the grass blades, which can cause disease. I spent many hours raking up leaves where they were still concentrated on the lawn and pulling leaves out from under the bushes where they had been packed in by the leaf blower. I filled a 96-gal trash bin plus 6 large plastic bags with leaves. There were more, but I ran out of time and light. That was not how I had hoped to use my last days of my visit. The day after the crew left, I emailed Melody about the deficiencies and included photos. Instead of apologizing for the substandard work and offering to fix the deficiencies, her response was that they wouldn’t be able to work with me. She did offer not to charge me for the cleanup but I wanted to recognize the work they did do (they hauled away at least one truckload of leaves, perhaps two and applied Preen but didn't appear to do the weeding that was promised) so I agreed to generously pay all but $200 of the $720 quote. I had already prepaid half for the future mowing so Melanie was going to credit my mother the excess after accounting for what I owed for the cleanup. Months later - my mistake for not checking sooner - as I was reviewing my mother’s credit card statements, it appeared that Jamison still owed Mother almost $100. I emailed Melody twice, weeks apart, asking that she review the payments and correct me if I was wrong, but she did not respond.
This was our first season of having our lawn cut by the Jamison Lawn Care team after trying many other services in the past with disappointing results. This team certainly stands out as the best that we've come across so far. They are consistent with their performance, very professional, and the price was very reasonable. Setting up the service was very easy, and the payment system is very convenient. We plan to continue using them in the future for the next season and would certainly recommend them to anyone seeking lawn care services.

Melanie designed a beautiful plan for the front of my house. She listened to what I hoped to achieve and drew up a plan accordingly. She recommended plants that would work well in the area and fit my budget as well. Tom and the installation team arrived when they said they would, were very professional and worked hard for two days to carryout Melanie's plan. They left the surrounding yard space in better shape that it was prior to their arrival too. I am very happy with the end result and hope to use them again for another project.

Im absolutely delighted with Jamisons design and implementation of my landscaping project. I wanted to create a large garden of flowering bushes in my front yard that would be a habitat for birds, bees and butterflies. Melanie worked with me to suggest plants that would achieve my objective. I am just delighted with everything in the project from start to finish. Melanies planting team is wonderful - so incredibly hard working & gentle with the plants. Its going to be so beautiful when the bushes bloom!

We have used a few different lawn care companies. Each cared for our lawn over a few seasons but our lawn never improved that much. We still had a lot of weeds and the grass was patchy. After one year with Jamison Lawn Care there was a marked improvement and we are looking forward to another year of continued improvement!

I have had so many compliments from my neighbors on the work that was done by Jamison Lawn Care staff on the garden beds in front of my apartment at Brittany Pointe Estates. The staff are very professional, skilled and knowledgeable about the plantings and very hard workers.
We used Jamison lawn care for a big project and they did a great job. Hard to get a hold of. When they did come out to give me an estimate they never called me back to tell me how much it would all cost. Even after calling multiple times and speaking with the men that came out....I received the same response ..Im sorry. Ill email that to you today. But nothing ever showed up.

I looked for a while to find a reliable, honest landscape group that would do a smaller job and not think my needs too trivial to bother with. Jamison Lawn Service was exactly what I hoped them to be. They trimmed my existing bushes, designed plantings to create a small focal point in front of my home and spread mulch throughout. They came on time, did professional work, and cleaned up after themselves before they left. They even replaced a plant they had installed that I had concerns about and did not charge me for the exchange. I recommend them without reservation.
The owner Melanie was very professional and on time with appointments and the quote. Her company was our pick to do a large landscape project but our relative had an opening with his landscaping company to do the job. If we have lawn work or other smaller landscape jobs she would be my first phone call!
I contracted Jamison Lawn Care this spring to plant flowers and sprice up my front yard. I recently used them to fill in bare spots on my front yard with topsoil and seed. Jamison Lawn care has taken care of our mowing needs for 2+ seasons. I either s/w Melanie or communicate by email. Always receive prompt response to questions and resolution to minor issues(we prefer our lawn short for 10 lb dog). Try to let her know when staff does an extremely good job like today. Adhere to same day each week (unlike other services we used).Email notifications for bad weather delays. Usually complete work the next day. Billing made easy with automatic payments. One less thing for me to worry about each month. Offer seasonal services and special jobs. Quick quotes and fair prices. Love the edging and weed whacking (idk what else you call it), under bushes, trees and along fence line. Cannot tell you how pleased we are. Employees are respectful of property: blow clippings away from car(s) if we are home; check for dogs outside when entering yard and latch our gates when leaving (escape artist dogs). They are polite to us and I have observed (and heard from inside) employees training newbees with a demeanor, direction and explainations I would appreciate if they were speaking to me. Staff always look professional with business logo shirts so you know who is on or entering your property. Equipment appears well maintained and clean. Provides the feeling of pride and caring about the business. Figured businesses receive enough complaints; they should here the praises. Would recommend.
Great company to work with. Melanie and her crew are very courteous and respectful. The work was done on time and looks terrific and professional. The price was very competitive and fair. The job was to clean up the mess that was made after installing a basement egress in a townhouse community with an HOA. That involved filling in and seeding the lawn that was gouged out by the egress people, extending the existing mulch bed around the egress and to also plant bushes to hide the new bilco doors and to provide privacy around our deck by planting 3 trees. Jamison was very patient while waiting for us to get approval from the association for the work. Furthermore, on the day of install we asked if they could add 3 more trees to the order. They were happy to oblige - again at a fair price and were able to complete the 3 new trees the next day. Would definitely recommend!

Good Service! Its very nice to find a service provider that actually understands that providing quality service is their primary responsibility. They are responsive to all feedback and do a very good job of keeping us informed as to when we can expect them to arrive. In addition to cutting our lawn, they provide landscaping and snow removal. We are very satisfied and hope to maintain a mutually profitable relationship for many years to come.
Make sure you shop around for the best proce. JLC tends to run higher than other companies. Previously had great work done by them at a great price but their recent prices were not competitive with other companies.
