Bush Trimmers in Jamestown

If I could give 0 I would. They came in and I told them they can leave the wood and they flung debris everywhere. Poison berries are everywhere and we have dogs. They didn't clean their mess nothing. I had set up plywood and a broken bench to keep my dog in the yard and they destroyed that as well and couldn't even move things out of the way so it could be set up again. Very unprofessional and I really thought they were about to drop a tree into my bedroom they were rattling half my house and I stayed in the living room farthest away from that area. 0/10 would not recommend.

Dealing with this guy is a nightmare merry go round. I had called on May 17th and asked to get an appointment to get a very dead ash tree taken down in our yard. The owner of Bush Trimmers, Ryan told me he doesn't make appointments but he puts you on the schedule and gets to you when he can. At the time he said it would probably be about 2 weeks. On June 4th I called and asked if he was still coming by and he say "yah this week or the beginning of next week." Nothing happened for a couple weeks (no communication either) so on Monday June 17th I texted and asked if he was able to come by this week. He wrote "weds for sure only got 1 job ahead of you and started it today." Sure enough the one day he stopped by on Wednesday the gas company was landscaping on the road from the gas lines they dug up in the spring so he couldn't do the job (he wouldn't have been able to actually do the job anyways because he needed a permit to block the road and didn't have it). On Friday June 21st I texted him to please let me know if he can't make it early next week because the tree had already broke a huge limb off in the neighbors yard and it needed to come down ASAP, he wrote back "yah." On Wednesday June 26th he wrote that he realized he needed a permit to block the road "it will be done on Friday" (he had been by to give us a quote and by again when they were landscaping so it's unfortunate it took him this long to figure out he needed a permit). I get home Friday evening and the tree is still there so I message him, get nothing, he writes back Saturday that he got the permit but can't get there til Wednesday. What's frustrating is that I had to keep asking why the tree wasn't down every time he said he was for sure coming by, I would never get an update from him so it was a constant guessing game. Wednesday July 3rd comes along and I text him that morning to see if he's coming by so I can get people to move their cars if so. I get no response. At 6:38pm I text again and say I guess not because the tree is still there. On Friday July 5th I texted "hello?" because he never wrote back from Wednesday. It wasn't until I texted and asked if he normally ghosts customers like this that he leads on for a month and a half and then I get the responses that he tried to come that one time but they were landscaping (mind you he didn't have the permit so it would not have gotten done anyways) then he had another excuse for the week of July 1st that wasn't my fault (and also never communicated that week once to tell me he wasn't coming by when he said he would because he took the end of the week off). After this, my boyfriend (the property owner) called him because I clearly was getting nowhere and Ryan said he'd be there early next week (the week of July 7th). This week on Monday (the week of July 15th) I texted again and said I guess you're not coming since the tree was still there. Got 0 responses. So today on Wednesday July 17th I fianlly had enough and said I'm hiring someone else and that this was ridiculous and he just ran excuses at me. Today is exactly 2 MONTHS later! He said it would be 2 weeks and led us on for 2 months with no communication on what was happening or why he wasn't showing up, we had to message him every single time and ask why he never came by. I have no idea how this guy is still in business and I could never recommend them to anyone. What a nightmare. I feel like the job was too big for him so maybe he should stick to trimming bushes instead of trees.

Not very professional. Cut my tree down ,chunked it ,stump ground it. I had him leave the wood for us. When we removed the whole tree and cleaned up the stump shavings there was still big chunks of the stump sticking up.Called him to come back . Never showed up when he said he was going to. Then they show up to grind the stump again .When we cleared the chips away for the second time there was still stump sticking up! Had to hire someone else to grind the stump right !I would Definitely not recommend stump grinding from this guy!( Picture from the 2nd time being ground)

Ryan promptly responded to my call for an estimate. He removed a tree sampling growing under our front porch, and charged a reasonable fee for his services. Highly Recommend.

Called 6 at night. The tree was down and the yard cleaned by noon the next day. Great service.

Bush runners do a great job! They removed many trees for me including 4 huge pine trees that were difficulty placed in between 3 houses and a garage. I highly recommend Bush Trimmers! Great service and at a reasonable price!!

They were prompt, and got right to work. Took down two trees and two big bushes, removed about 6 tree stumps and cleaned up. I was very satisfied with Ryan and his crew.
