He did a better job than the last technician. He sprayed the edges of the main lawn and covered all the lawn area. I would like for him to service my lawn from now on.

I would warn everyone to not use Tru green for your weed control . We paid for the year in advance . They came and did the first service and said if you don t notice a difference in 10-14 days we will come out and respray the weed killer . We literally have one way and and one way out of our back yard and it s like the entire path they walked they didn t spray weed killer . What they did spray killed my grass off but did nothing to the weeds . After them coming back to spray over and over and the weeds continued to grow and grow I called and made an appointment for them to come out and I took the day off work . When the man showed up he says oh wow it looks like they sprayed the wrong weed killer on your yard and it killed the grass . Calling Tru green and complaining to them does absolutely nothing. The manager Dean is a joke . Needless to say my yard is trashed and they don t want to do nothing to it but spray fertilizer in the spring .

Worst customer service of any company. One guy straight up lied. The same guy didn t tell me that I would be paying $120, upfront!!! The lady on the online chat ended the chat, basically hanging up on me when I wanted to cancel a service. I should ve listen to my neighbor who said NOT to use them. You ve been warned.

Tyler Jones has been taking care of my lawn for a couple of months now and he does a very good job! He is very professional and takes the time to do a thorough job! Best lawn guy I have had in many years with trugreen!

We ve been trying to grow our grass and mostly get our weeds under control for 2 years now since we bought this house. We finally hired True Green. Aside from one OBNOXIOUS employee that we complained about and instructed never to send to our house again everyone has been very, very nice. However we are very unhappy with the weed control. I wonder if they are spraying water or barely spraying at all. So frustrated. We are paying so much money for this and we hear we are getting a deal. So, so unhappy with these results especially since we are paying for this. These are a few of the areas with weeds and this is after our 5th application.

Ever since McCall Service transferred their lawn care services to TruGreen my lawn has declined. Tech didnt even treat the backyard on the first service call. Had to call to get him sent out again. Between missed service and whatever they are spraying my yard is going the wrong direction. So much so I had to partially re-sod the backyard this summer. Again, today, the technician did not treat the backyard. Just called to cancel service, need to look for better and more reliable alternatives.

I will not be renewing this contract! They don t show when they say they re on the way and then cancel (twice). On another visit, they only did the front lawn and tried to leave till I stopped them. My lawn looks worse than before they started many months ago.

I just had a man call me after telling the company I was still looking. He TALKED OVER ME and then HUNG UP ON ME. He seemed to take offense that after mansplaining what Angie s List is and how to search that I was already quite familiar. This makes the decision easy.

The last technician I had would never complete the whole yard. Thank you very much for sending a different technician that actually completed a job due to this. I will keep TruGreen as my lawn maintenance provider.

I cannot express the worthlessness of this service. Do NOT waste your money. Bald spot? Got worse. Weeds? Got worse. Grass? Nope. And, if you could see the obscene level of sandspurs in my yard youd be shocked. Called and complained after each service, at which time theyd send someone out again.... and again... and again who Im quite sure was actually planting sandspurs. Please choose someone else to help with your lawn. These guys promise everything and give negative results.

They are hit and miss always, one month they do their job and the next month they spot treat your lawn leaving it spotted for months. Then you complain and they come out and give you a free spot treatment. Your yard will never look consistently good through the whole season. I seriously believe they have only 2 good techs that know what they are doing and unfortunately I dont live in that upper scaled neighborhood to get those 2 guys. Thats why there are a couple of good reviews for them.

I started using TrueGreen services just only two years ago, I had been using a deferent local company since Ive owned my house, around 15 yearsago, and as far as Im concerned, I got with TrueGreen, 15 years too late! They were able to accomplish in 18 months what the other guys couldnt get done in the previous 15,, which was filling in all of the blank spots that would just never fill in regardless of what the original guys tried,, couldnt be more satisfied. The young man who has been taking care of my property, kind of a bonus here, is also outstanding in his professionalism and extremely courteous to boot! Id definitely give them a call if you need a change of providers,,

Re sodded my lawn with brand new sod front and back in April of 2023. Hired Tru green. They let my lawn get infested with sod web worms in the back, which killed 3 or 4 patches of grass to the dirt. They left my gate open numerous times, twice my dog got out, neighbors found him two streets down. Supervisor usually shows up maybe a week after you call the call center in India. Said he would give me a preferred tech every time, different tech every time. Said he would plug grass in back yard and treat weeds, two weeks, he never showed back up. Paid them over 500.00 from Feb 2023 to Oct 2024, about 50.00 ish a month. 9 months.

I wanted to cancel with them my Lawn service and I got absolutely no response back! Am not happy with the lawn service done too !They don t treat all weeds !

WORST PLACE EVER!!!! They killed our grass in a matter of 2 weeks. Our entire yard is now mud, and purple grass! The technician who came out last said he wasn t touching our yard and that his manager needed to come look - that the manager would call in 24-48 hours. That NEVER happened. I called them over a dozen times, emails sent, escalations done by them internally and NOTHING. Even the staff didn t understand why he wasn t getting back to me. We have been left with our yard worlds worse than it ever was before we used trugreen!!! We now have to re-sod all 5,000 square feet of our yard to fix the damage caused by this terrible company. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

The quote process with this company was terrible. A guy showed up without an appointment or even saying he would be out. Made my kids that were home alone very nervous by sitting outside the house for almost 20 minutes. When I arrived home he kept pressuring me to buy and pay now. I told him multiple times no and finally had to ask him to leave. Then for 2 weeks following that I kept getting multiple calls a day even after telling them I signed up with another company. They kept calling and a different guy even came to my home. This sales tactic is borderline harassment. I had to block their phone numbers to stop the 3-4 times a day phone calls. Buyer beware anyone that pushes this hard to sell something doesn t have a product that can speak for itself. Choose a company with better sales tactics!

I been using True Green going on 3 years and once I started getting the same Technician my yard is now managed consistantly. I know the turn over of employees cant be controlled, but if some consistency could be established review rating would improve. The technicians are all very knowledgeable, and professional and the products works.

Their service is the bottom of the barrel!!! Stay FAR AWAY from this company. We tried Trugreen a number of years ago, was horrible, was better off treating lawn myself, the New company we chose to go with was bought out by Trugreen and we had them for less than 6 months, again lawn treatment was horrible. Current company we chose was great until they sold their lawn care service out to, you guessed it, Truegreen. Have had them again for less than 6 months, Lawn is ruined!!! They treated our lawn and the neighbor across the street with one treatment, then because the technician felt we needed a boost for bug control, he came back a second time a few days later unannounced and sprayed yard heavy again. Neither of us knew he treated and it went un-watered and burned our lawns to the point that sections are dead while at the same time the spray was inconsistent leaving batches of green mixed with the dead lawn. Have been trying to contact the Field Manager (John Salisbury) with no luck as the number provided on his card is the standard answering system number. The Field Manager and the technician not only stated that they screwed up with the application but also disclosed this same information to the neighbor across the street and to the neighbor next door whom they treat too but did not apply the additional treatment that day?? This company should be run out of business for not delivering on their guarantees! Their Mission Statement is to provide science-based lawn care solutions that help people enjoy healthy outdoor spaces. The way they damaged my lawn makes me feel ashamed to even go out on my lawn or for neighbors to see it!

Worst experience- did not show up on original day , they showed up at the very end of the make up day only to leave because no one was home. Then put in the system equipment issue , but camera says different. Would not recommend, quick to sell and get you to pay upfront, but can t speak to anyone except in a call center in KC. The reps keep breaking my landscaping lights, by dragging the application hoses around my yard. They re not concerned with the owners efforts of landscaping.

My technician Canisius is always polite and as well-versed on what the product is and what needs to be done to keep my yard looking green. He s very knowledgeable about his job and is very professional in the way that he does it.

I had to call and get irrate to get someone to come out after changing my service date 3 times and noone showing up those 3 days.. after preparing over 500$ for service you would think they would communicate with the people who use their service.. Totally burned my yard. Initially the yard was mildly burnt, after I called and specifically asked for the same tech not to be sent back, the same tech comes 2 days later. I also asked that the tech not do anything more to my yard until he talks to me, luckily I was looking out my window and caught him before he starts to put more stuff on my yard. I talk to him about the current spots and he advises hes going to put potassium on the yard today. I ask if this will futher damage the yard, which he assured me it would not. Literally an hour later my mildly burnt yard turns yellow and is totally scorched. Ive lived here 10 years and my yard has never looked like this!

If you are not satisfied with what you see. Just call them and they make a return visit. I was able to speak with the technician today, Brian Hogan. We walked around the yard and he was able to see that I had some issues with bugs and he was able to treat it accordingly. He explained what he was going to do. He was very thorough with his work.

After more than 4 years paying for trugreen service I caught the tech saying my lawn was done but he never came to my house. I called and they rescheduled for the next day. He did it again. I called again and they said its fairly common, they werent surprised. No offer of any free services to make up for what I suspect as multiple times of doing this. I fired them and they didnt seem to care. Dont trust these people.

Concerned about abundance of weeds and asked why it s been nearly 2 months and was told someone would be out today, 4/29 and guess what???? GOT A BIG BO SHOW

The tracking system is awesome. The technician arrived during the time frame given. They were courteous and knowledgeable. All of my concerns and questions were answered.

Service tech Fernando was great today explain what was going on explain what he was going to do today and the rest of the year also explain to me what I should do in the meantime with watering and cutting. Very knowledgeable service tech wish I had him at every service call

I need to have you call me ahead of time to tell me when you are coming. I don t get a text of a call to what day you are coming . Every other lawn care service I used would call or text or email me when they were coming .

First treatment today had Luis Toledo as my tech and he was informative and personable. Explained everything and gave me a full print out of my services.

Im always pleased with Tru Green The employees always do a good job and are very pleasant.

My lawn was 99 1/2% overrun by weeds and vines. Before surrendering to a desperate and complete start over of my lawn - St Augustine grass (I hate it , by the way, lol) - I called TruGreen. I subscribed to both the TruComplete Tree/Shrub and the Lawn Care services, but I canceled the Tree/Shrub service as too expensive to keep with the the lawn care service. TruGreen applied weed killer and it was working great. However, because the lawn was nearly completely overrun, I requested a second application. 2nd applications are free! I am now weed free after just a 3 months! I am actively growing St Augustine grass again! Technician personalities have been great - nice, social folks. This next comment is not a ding, but I may suggest that prior to visiting, the technician should be aware of all the services the customer has and be able to find/provide schedule information.

The True Green Tech that came out today was so knowledgeable and helpful. He explained everything he did. He was very kind. Finally we got someone that knew what they were talking about and did the job right. His name is Shaun Ross and he definitely needs to be recognized. Thank you Shaun for doing a great job.

Fernando Bernales,completed a full service on my grass. I met him at the front door and he explained the issues about the weeds. He spent a good 20 minutes on my grass. Finally after so many phone calls and bad technicians. I have a good one please keep Fernanda servicing my grass. He does a full complete service. Sincerely Tony & Ann Stoner

Richard came out to do the first application on my lawn. He was not only friendly, he was very thorough and explained what he was going yo do and why. He gave me my next steps and went over what to expect. In the coming days and weeks. I can t rate the progress because it is only the first application, but I can tell you that my experience with the rep that came out today.

The technician was on time and proceeded with the service appropriately and job well done. My yard stay brown and after three months of service without any improvement I canceled the service

The technician assigned to this project is very knowledgeable and friendly. His advice is spot on with the problems of this yard. We have total trust in his ability to correct all our yard issues. So far I am impressed with TruGreen. Thank you.

Tru Green is just that. In about 5 weeks 90-95% of weed s are gone or going away and lawn is greening up beautifully. Can t wait to see it next month.

This review is based on the customer service that I received today from Francis the phone representative. She was very thorough and she understood exactly what I was trying to get accomplished. I appreciated her and willingness to make sure. That I was happy with everything that we talked today.She made a difference in me deciding to stay with Tru Green. I was initially calling to cancel my service. Thanks to her I m still a customer. Great job Francis!

They have literally killed half of our lawn. We hired them to help maintain and improve what we already had. I have no idea what they did but now we have to pay a couple thousand! dollars to sod and treat our yard. They claim to put down fertilizer and weed killer. All thats left now, in less than a year I might add, is dead grass and weeds. Please look at my photos and be warned. Update: We had our lawn diagnosed with someone other than TruGreen. Apparently, we had some sort of lawn fungus and the constant fertilization was helping to spread the disease and was the exact opposite of what we should have done. It cost us $5,067.24 to have the damaged area resoded. This whole time no one from TruGreen said anything about treating anything. They just showed up, put down fertilizer, weed killer and said to water our lawn. All Trugreen offered was to have a manager come out and assess the situation. Too little too late. They are coming nowhere near my yard. Its already cost me too much.

The TruGreen in Jacksonville is the worst company Ive ever had to deal with. a year ago I put brand new sod down. Had TruGreen come in and now theyve damn near killed the whole yard off. Its horrible what theyve done to my yard and theyre not responding to any of my phone calls so they can come fix it. Okay over the past few months TruGreen has been out trying to get my yard back to where it was. They have been out several times applying fungicide,potash,and fertilizer. The yard is doing better and the grass is coming back. Theres still some dead areas,but they planted some temporary rye grass to fill in the bare spots until next spring when they will be out to replace the dead sod. I will update at that time. Waiting on TruGreen to come back this year and replace the St Augustine sod that died last year. They did seed the yard with winter rye grass but it will be dying off pretty soon. TruGreen sent the crew out to resod my yard today. The guys did an awesome job

I cannot comment on the actual service (we never got that far, thank goodness), but I do have some thoughts on the customer service. Bobby reached out to me via phone. He inspected my property, gave me a quote, and I said I ll get back to him because I was in a meeting and wanted to discuss it with my partner first. He starts saying things to pressure me into signing on with him right then and there, even offering me a discount. I told him multiple times I ll reach back out, and he started getting borderline aggressive. It sounded very scam-like and I was pretty flabbergasted that they would speak to a potential customer in that manner. I called a few other pest control services near me and had a much better first impression with them. Don t let Google reviews fool you- check Reddit & Yelp for more accurate reviews!
