I had fairway for 2-3 years. I cancelled because my yard has deteriorated in the last year where the entire side of my yard is dead and infested with crab grass now and now my front yard is struggling with chinch bug/sod web worms. When I called, the said I wasn t covered for bug treatment when I was under the impression I had been since I started. As long as i was in cahoots with them, I also have to regularly spray my yard with sedgehammer and tenancity to control the weeds. In my tenure I also upgraded services to include my flower beds, and removed the services that I felt had no impact on those plants even though they willingly sold me the product. I recently switched to another company that has double tapped my yard with treatment because they noticed these types of issues that fairway left me with. The provider is also less expensive. I enjoyed them at first and would have given them 5 stars but in the last year they ve given me a lot of work to make up for.

I got fairway lawns after resodding my front yard. I must say the service is absolutely terrible. Since having them, my yard has looked absolutely horrible. There is weeds everywhere. The problem is not going away. I was told I would speak to a general manager to help with the issue. Nobody has reached out to me.

This company charges you to basically water your grass. But, they re not alone, according to the supply house who has the contract with 90% of this companies, they all do the same thing. Instead hiring these clowns, save your money and go buy some Bifen.

Due to some situations for me personally, I ended up switching to a different company for lawn care; however, I was extremely impressed with their customer service and my conversation with the manager when I told them I had switched and why.

I have Fairway lawns taking care of my lawn for over a year. The grass looked ok last year when they took over the care of the lawn in the spring of 2023. We had some weeds, but it got worse over the summer and fall months of 2023. I was told by the company that they will fix it next year. They said that they have to spray in the pre-germination period. In the winter time to achieve good results. I believed them, and I continued to hire this company. Now is August 2024. My lawn looks much worse. Doveweed specifically almost completely took over my lawn. They come every month, they write monthly email that they applied some chemicals, but whatever they do does not work. There is no follow up, no reevaluation if their chemicals work. The Doveweed just continues to spread. The person that comes to spray seems to be interested to be in and out. Nobody in this Company cares about the results of what they spray or what they do. I am very disappointed with this company. Horrible work.

Our yard continued to look worse and worse once we switched to fairway lawns. After close to a year, our backyard is largely brown and dead. We have contacted them numerous times about the service and our concerns. We never received a response. We finally canceled and hired a local company instead. They came out today and immediately identified chinch bugs. Very disappointed in Fairway Lawns and wish we had canceled our service sooner. Large waste of money and now we may need to replace sod too.

I have been with Fairway lawns now 2 years the Branch Manager Chris, is one of the best people to work with if I have a question or if something does not look right to me I can call, text, email him and he will take that time to make sure I have the answers or will find them out for me, my tech Jordan, is the best he has treated my lawn for 2 years the pictures below shows how well their products work and with watering and mowing how they advise it does work!!

Customer service is TERRIBLE. The tech destroyed my lawn and after weeks of calling to speak to the manager I have still not heard back. Charged for a visit that they did NOT show up (I have cameras and a lock on my back gate) to which they said they looked over my fence and observed insect activity. So now I have more weeds than before, dead grass, and mushrooms that I never had. Absolutely unacceptable.

Fairway lawns does a great job in making sure your weeds are taking care of, as the season progresses. My grass looks beautiful and the weeds are removed as they pop-up. I used Discovery Services llc in the past , but they cannot be compared to Fairway Lawns. I know that Fairway Lawns provide better care for your lawn than many other companies, who provide the same service. Thanks.

Fairway Lawns has reduced my weeds significantly; in a rocky area, along my sidewalks/driveway, and in my yard. I am happy with the results.

Fairway is the best lawn service we have had so far. Weve had several other lawn services. They are very knowledgeable and great customer service.

NEGATIVE ***** The price is fair, So Isigned up for a year service at end of January. The first round was done mid February, because I had to call since no contact for almost 3weeks. The monthly payments definitely on schedule. 4 payments already done April been the last payment and only 1 one service done. I got an email on second round, but there was no service done since I was home that day doing my lawn! I call the main # and they told me it was a glitch in their system. I ask about the second round, at this point we are in March, and rep. Told me services are done every 6 weeks, at this point 6 weeks are up, but guess what, No service! The 6 weeks service is one detail they forgot to mention when agreement was established. I asked for a manager call, no call was received. Disappointed already specially with the glitch and the No call with Fairways and the service. I call AGAIN on April 1st this time to CANCEL the service and To REQUEST a refund on services that I HAVE BEEN CHARGED FOR IT AND NO SERVICES HAVE BEEN PROVIDED!. THE Rep tellls me a call WAS DONE AND VOICE MAIL WAS LEFT, Right about this point I had it with Fairways! No call or Voicemail was done at all! The REP right after I REQUESTED THE REFUND SAID NO REFUND, AGAIN I REQUESTED FOR A MANAGER CALL and as of today April 7 no call! I m no person to write negatives comments but not only as a customer, but a PAYING CUSTOMER! If no paying services are provided Then I should get my money back! Now the irony after the call on the 1st, I was charged again with NO SERVICES PROVIDED and not only that but I got an Email telling me I m a VALUABLE CUSTOMER! Fairways YOU ARE NOT BEEN FAIR!!! IF YOU DONOT WANT TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK THE LEAST YOU CAN DO IS TO PROVIDE THE SERVISES I ALEADY PAY FOR IT! EARN THE FAIR NAME!!! Absolutely terrible service. Large areas of my yard died out each year. They also didn t treat one whole section of our yard on the other side of our garage. I brought our concerns to their attention several times, but no improvements were made. As a result, we have had weeds throughout our turf and re-sodded parts of our yard multiple times. I would not recommend this company.

Service started good but then they changed technicians and my yard started having multiple problems and the technician either did not identify the problem or address it correctly. I had dollar weed spread around the yard and more weeds then I ve ever had. After they sprayed there was no die off of any weeds within the yard. Called to cancel after picking two five gallon buckets of weeds and Fairway sent a Manager out to speak with me. He was polite but unprofessional in that he had was on a phone call the entire time so the other recipient on the call could hear me through his apple earbuds. I only knew because part way the phone Bluetooth lost connection and was on speakerphone and he quickly disconnected. Learned later that the tech was the managers brother. Very unprofessional in my opinion. They offered 3 free services but the yard problems have still persisted with more dollar weed, a large dead spot and weeds.

Would recommend this company to all my family and friends. My lawn has never looked so good. Employees are service oriented, somewhat of a rarity today. Thanks

Ive had MANY lawn service companies over the years... it is hard to find one that consistently does what they promise, visit after visit. Jordan and his crew are one of those few... they do a great job every time, are always on time every week, and very receptive to special requests as well. If you are shopping for a lawn service, your search is over... these guys are top notch. (full disclosure: I was not paid of given free services to write this review... they simply deserve it!)

After multiple companies failed, great lawn treatment success with Fairway Lawns!! With only 3 treatments, results are clear. Lawn is thicker, weed & insect free, and looks great! Its a decision you wont regret.

Kyle, Chis and Jay are always responsive to my request and interest. Chris consistently follows-up even with is busy schedule assisting other customers. Anytime Chris or Jay are in the neighborhood assisting other customers, they make the time to drive-by my home and take an assessment of my lawns health. In addition to the President of Fairway Lawns, Kyle, looking over his fence into yard, making his assessments and taking the necessary action to correct any of his concerns. Outstanding company! I have recommended them to a number of friends and family.
