I live on Jackson Lake and have been using Turf Masters for many years. In 2011 I went from st augustine grass to empire zoysia. I had always tried to take care of the grass mysely but was never satisfied with the outcome. After recommendations I went with Dorsey which is now Turf Masters and it was the best decision I could have possibly have made. Gabriel Lee is one of their technican and has been taking care of my lawn from the beginning and that will not change until he retires. Turf Masters is very professional company in everything they do from dealing with the people in the office and their technicans in the field. I contract with Turf Masters every year for 7 treatments and the cost is very reasonable and the results is a very satisfied customer. Mike Daniel.

The one that looks poorly looks like it hasnt been treated any this year. Ive reported it, weve had rain theyre only taking care of the front and its a mess.

I have been a customer for over 4 years with very little results for my lawn and shrubs. This is a secondary home and this service supplements the work provided by the HOA. This year has been the worst service. Plants are not doing well and grass is also struggling. I can solve the problem, however the lies from Steve and Gabe has caused me to cancel this service. There is a lack of integrity and the service guy admitted the manager lied in what was promised and what was actually done. This is so disappointing and disgusting from this company. I would NOT recommend them.

Someone said they would be coming back out to give me a free service because I wasnt satisfied and no one showed up. My lawn still doesnt look like it should look and Im getting service every month. My lawn look just like my neighbors and then I getting any service.

A couple of years ago. I was using another lawn company but it seemed my grass was never looking as green as my neighbor across the street. So I asked him about the company he was using called Turf Masters and I decided to give them a call. It seemed like shortly after a while I had a whole new yard. My grass was nice thick and green. I have recommended them to 2 other neighbors. I love the look of my lawn. The service people that come out that I have spoken with and asked them questions have been knowledgeable, professional and kind. I highly recommend their services.

I started my lawn fertilizing and weed service with another company two months after purchasing my home. Twelve months later, my lawn was still full of weeds. I made the switch to Turf Masters and have not looked back. My lawn looks great and I do not have to mow my lawn as frequently due to unsightly weeds.

I am mostly happy with the service. I started mid season last year and had a very tuff time with crab grass. This year I started with the first treatment, have had the second treatment and am starting to see crabgrass. which I was told would not be there.

As I was having huge problems with my previous lawn service (True Green), a very good friend of mine suggested I contact Turf Masters. I called them up, someone came out, and I have a happy front lawn. Now the backyard is still getting there, but when I called, I had two people at my home working on my lawn. I would recommend Turf Masters to anyone looking for lawn service and a happy healthy lawn!

Get job. My grass within a year is green without weeds. My neighbors are baffled. I must admit, I have the greenest lawn on the block. My neighbors on each side of me saw my lawn and decided to contact turf-masters. They are on their way to a greener lawn.

Technician applied pre-emergent on brand new sod causing the new sod to be stressed. - In response to your reply, we already had been in contact with Duncan who checked on the lawn the day after the application. The charge for the application was credited, as it should have been. He stated he would return and check on it again and be in touch. We never heard anything more from him. We have since cancelled our service. I would just caution others to be weary of the salesman Anthony Beach as he assured us at the time we signed up for service that the technicians were well trained, but that certainly wasn t the case for our technician. At the time of the application it was clear that it was new sod as the seams were still visible. We are still nursing it back to a healthy lawn.

I would not recommend this company for your lawn care needs. On the first visit, they applied a high rate of Urea on a 90 degree day and burned the lawn pretty bad. Of course it came back but looked bad for some time. They stained my fence, driveway, and the house several times with the chelated iron but did come out to pressure wash the areas. However, recently they preformed a growth regulator treatment and burned the lawn all around the edges. I reached out to the company and was told it will recover. I do this for a living so I know it will recover but for several weeks, it looked bad. I tried explaining this to the field manager and he was not helpful with the situation and I ended up canceling my service since they werent willing to make it right.

Ive been their customer for a little over a year now. Every now and then they will send out emails stating that they will give you 5% off if you prepay. Today they sent me a message stating, ..., a thank you gift awaits! Save 5% on Turf Masters services when you prepay. That felt very disingenuous since they always offer the 5%, but they wanted me to think it was a thank you gift. I texted back stating that that wasnt a thank you gift, and that a thank you gift would be something like 10% off. The representative responded back that that was all they have. I wasnt satisfied with their last couple of services, so I told them they could do the 10% off my next service or they would lose a customer. They opted to lose a customer over 10%.

The servicemen are always thorough and respectful. They will always give answers to queries and if they dont have the answer, they will call the office for the expert to get the correct answer. Weve been using their services for about five years now and is quite satisfied.

I never have to worry about the job getting done and getting done right! Every square inch is taken care of. My tech is the bomb!

I am exceptionally satisfied with the service that I have been receiving. The technician goes an extra step for me. I ask that he treats the area near my busy street. It is done without hesitations or reservations.

This year the service we have received has been unsatisfactory. When we try to get in touch with the Jackson location the manager will not return out phone calls. Very unhappy customer and am cancelling this service. If you use them recommend you be there when they come or have cameras out so you can see what actually goes on.

They have took my yard from weeds to grass. They do exactly what they told me they would do for a reasonable price. Im a builder by trade for a very large company. Believe me that isnt the norm of doing business these days unfortunately. I have only seen them 1 time because Im at work. The young man came to my house last time I had the pleasure of meeting, he was very nice and noledgeable in the process and materials he was using.

I like the tech who usually comes to my home. He is thorough and always answers any questions I have. I have recommended your services to others. No weeds and my yard looks great!

RESPONSE, I did. The Jackson supervisor called me and was eager to cancel my service. I asked for his boss to call me and have yet to hear from him. My name is as on my account, look it up, its well documented.

Filthy attitudes/very poor management..their products are way better than their staff..techs will come and sit in their vehicle & not apply product if you ask me get 1 or 2 applications and leave, the product will hold up for a year or so without continued servicing as my neighbor has shown me!

Canceled my services was told a service manager would follow up with me and never saw him. He called to leave me a message saying he would be out and never came out. I wouldn t recommend this company to anyone looking for any kind of lawn maintenance. Started services beginning of may and things started really looking good. Couple months into it I added a new service called a growth regulator. After the first application I noticed my lawn start looking brown and as time went on it looked as though it has been burned so to speak. It looked absolutely terrible and still does to be honest. Called and canceled the service yet, they came back out and sprayed it again and sends me a bill for $108.00. Not only did they destroy my lawn due to technician negligence they want me to pay for a service I no longer wanted and threatened me with sending to a collection agency. Wow is all I can say and if your looking for lawn maintenance DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!! There is better choices that DOES stand behind their work and makes a wrong right, and they also train their people accordingly along with their management team unlike the other experience I ve had here. It wouldn t allow me to respond to your message and NO it was not army worms because we had Anthony come out and take a look at it. He stated we had a fungus so I told him to take care of it. About 1 week later the tech came out and stated in his notes that the turf didn t have a fungus and it appears to have been burned by the fertilizer. So, I stick with my original review that this company destroyed my lawn.

I havent noticed a visible difference in my lawn since Ive started using your service a year ago versus doing it myself. In fact other yards on my street look much cleaner (weed free) and greener right now with other lawn service companies. I am actually cancelling my service and pursuing other companies

Waste of money

Beware of this lawn care company! I came to visit my parents that moved here in 2018 from Australia and their lawn care service has been eating at their pockets since last year. Youd think that the reputation that Turf Masters has would be enough for a customer to believe in what they do. This is not a rant.. This is more of a Truth Behind the scenes kind of review. My parents have their lawn and bushes taken care of by Turf Masters. The lawn is what is was when they moved in but the bushes have been replaced five times. The bushes were very expensive. Not like Turf Masters is going to refund what they lost. They were told that someone would contact them shortly and that was three weeks ago. They were told that bushes will look better even with their services. That was a slap in their faces. Having any services from Turf Masters seems to be redundant. My parents even have video of the bloke not doing his job. One tiny spray on one bush. Then leaves the rest of the bushes w/out getting the proper treatment. Taking advantage of customers that pays great earned money for a service just to find out that theyre getting cheated out of... thats rubbish service and should be known all around about their services. If this is what Turf Masters is teaching their staff/employees, then my parents are and will be cancelling their services! P.S. To whom this may concern, Word of Mouth travels.

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!This company is absolutely horrible!! I specifically requested no services be performed without consent, and they failed to honor my request not once but twice!! The first time my husband paid however we refused to do so the second time. A supervisor called and stated the issue was resolved and still expected to payment. I refused to pay for unauthorized services, and he stated he will send it to collections ( the bill is $42.95), so i invite him to do so. Its not about the money ( for me anyway) it is about principle. If the company is that desperate, prayer is required not more business.

We have used competitors in the past, but we never saw progress. Somehow, with very little effort on our part, most of our weeds are gone, and the we have grass where once, none would grow, and that thick luxurious grass I used to envy. The only thing it could be, is Dorseys service. I love using a small business as well! Excellent support from the office, to boot!

My lawn has never been healthier nor looked as lush before I started using Turf Masters of Jackson (Dorsey) Lawn Care. I had used a rival company but was never as satisfied as when I switched to Dorsey a couple of years ago. Their website says they place emphasis on Quality, Pride, and Customer Service. If my lawn is any indication, they have certainly achieved their goals. Brandon notifies me when he will be treating my lawn and leaves a detailed report of what he did to my lawn with any suggestions as to what I might do to enhance the effect of that treatment. The best decision I have ever made in regards to lawn care was when I switched to Turf Master of Jackson (Dorsey) Lawn Care.

I was using another major lawn service and had weeds everywhere. Dorsey came in and got it all pretty again. People tell me all the time that our yard looks like a golf course.

Excellent service! What I like most about their service is that they are always on top of things identifying problem areas that needs addressing to improve the overall look and quality of my yard.

When I first started with Dorsey services my lawn was full of weeds and brown. Now my lawn looks like a golf course. I also have Dorsey for pest control. I highly recommend this company!

We used a national service that has two Ts in it last year and it was as if they were feeding the weeds. Our lawn looked much worse then before they started and quite frankly it was a complete waste of money. After only three treatments this year our lawn is beautiful. Its a remarkable difference. We also used the pest control service as a one time service and they managed to rid us of a severe ant problem that we had been treating ourselves with the top of the line consumer purchased bait systems. I highly recommend their services.

So far so good. We had our first lawn and pest treatment about two weeks ago. The lawn was far from taken care of when we moved in. I wasnt expecting much of a result from the first treament but there was a night and day difference within a few days of the treatment. The yard looked greener and the weeds were disappearing. That makes me a happy camper.

My zoysia grass is beginning to green up. I still have several brown spots and areas where there is no grass. Im hoping these spots will begin to fill in as the summer progresses.

Great Service!!!! My front lawn is weed free and very green. (Zoyzia). I am surrounded by homes with a large amount of weeds. I hope after looking at my lawn daily, they will give you a call. I have been struggling with weeds in my new house for 18 months. I have gone through several lawn service companies. None of them were able to put a dent in the problem. I was very frustrated, when I received a call from the Branch Manager at the Peachtree City location. I told him my problem and he assured me they could get it fixed, but it would take time, I assured him I would fire him too if I did not see results. They treated my lawn 2 weeks ago and it has never looked this good. I still have weeds, but significantly less than before. I can see where many of them are dying. We still have a ways to go, but it appears we are off to a good start.

I expected the 2 gentlemen that showed up to do the Core Aeration to be busy for a couple of hours, due to the size of my yard and the fact that one machine was down, But to my surprise, a second vehicle showed up with 3 more machines and 2 more workers. Now three workers were busy and finished in under an hour. Since this was my first experience having this done, I had a lot of questions. The gentlemen and lady were more than willing to answer each and every one of my questions. They were professional, skilled, knowledgeable and willing to impart their wisdom. I started using Dorseys a few years ago because I was unhappy with the poor service of another company, and Dorseys was recommended by a landscaper friend of mine. My lawn has looks great ever since, and I have recommended them to my neighbors who stop by while out walking and comment on the yard. What I particularly like is that Chon, my service technician, is the one who comes to service my lawn every time. Consistency can be hard to find in this industry, but Chon and Dorseys delivers every time. I am a landscaper so I am pretty picky about my yard, and I choose not to store the chemicals needed to make it look good due to my pets possibly getting into the chemicals, but I trust Dorseys and they have delivered. In the rare event I need a service call for a question, they are very quick to respond. Their prices are very competitive with other companies, too. Thanks, Dorseys! Edit: several years later and Dorsey is still doing a great job. Never have any complaints and dont even have to think about the yard!

This is my second review of Dorseys service; however this was the first treatment on this new property so its too soon to tell; however we loved the technician who was very personable, and professional. I do recommend Dorseys to all my friends because of the service we used to get after firing TruGreen and Scotts for skimping on the products. I am a very picky customer and cant wait to get rid of the undesirable weeds in my lawn.

Very responsive to my phone calls and very pleasant to deal with. I appreciate that they call the day before they come to treat. Thats a nice add on that I didnt get with my previous service.

The last few treatments have not been effective. I have weeds growing on both sides of the house more then before. The last time I received a bill on my door I dont believe my yard was sprayed. No sign in the yard...no chemical smell as usual...wife says truck was in front for a few mins and gone. Not happy at this time.

After only six months, my lawn is looking so much better. They are dependable and very professional. I also got the treatment for the red fire ants and have been blown away. For years, my yard has had colonies of ant hills - this year - I saw two small hills and Dorsey came right out and treated them. I love being able to enjoy my yard again!!

Before using Dorsey lawn care, my yard was full of weeds and distraught looking. Once I hired them to take care of my lawn, I no longer have the issue of weeds and my yard looks much healthier. The only thing I wish is that my yard could look a darker green. Other than that it looks great. Whenever I walk my subdivision, it is obvious who uses Dorsey and who does not. Their work is great! I refer them out whenever possible.

The lawn was terrible when I purchased the house. Therefore I hired Dorsey Services. Im not sure Ill maintain the service because I havent noticed much improvement...currently undecided. Moved into my home 7 years ago. I tried Scotts, after a couple of years i tried Trugreen. My lawn continued to look just as bad as it did when i first moved in. I finally ended up trying Dorsey and I saw results that same season. It was amazing. Ive been with them ever since and our lawn looks great. Their service is great. I purchased my home with about 35% grass loss. I had started with a national competitor but saw no improvement after a year. I actually had gotten additional loss and fungus attack. I signed up with Dorsey the following year and within 12 months I regained 85% of the lawn. Today I have a full lawn (with grass) little to no weed issues (even from runoff that enters from untreated neighbors) and when I get any spot attacks, Dorsey sends out service (at no extra charge) to treat those places. I have gotten aeration and advice from Dorsey and I have a great lawn, thick and healthy looking, best service and I will be a longtime customer.

We were switched to Dorsey after our other lawn care company left the area. Weve had a few wet season so we are told that is why we are continually fighting weeds. We are giving them one more season and then might have to switch. The staff is very nice and whenever I call, I get a real person and rarely have to wait to talk to them.

At first, my wife and I were skeptical about Dorsey Services claims that they had specialized knowledge, expertise & experience in servicing centipede lawns. My skepticism was based on the fact that our c lawn had been severely damaged by a prior lawn service company. Not only that, but at least one vendor I contacted informed me that they no longer even serviced centipede lawns. Having given up on the little centipede left, I was simply looking for someone to help kill weeds. The Dorsey rep convinced me that our centipede wasnt a hopeless case -- he was, of course, selling lawn service -- but we decided to give Dorsey a try. And we are very happy with our decision. The centipede is recovering and covering nicely. And, although we still have some weeds - actually more than some - Dorseys weed-control-plan definitely appears to be getting the upper hand on em. If our centipede continues to make the remarkable comeback weve seen so far . . . well, all I can say is Viva Dorsey Services! Rating: 5 Stars

My centipede lawn was looking pretty bad when I first started with Dorsey Services. Now my lawn looks wonderful. The grass is really green and spreading into areas where I didnt have any grass before. My neighbors now refer to my golf course lawn. I also get the ant treatment every year and have been amazed at how effective it is in getting rid of all the ants.

My lawn was a disaster when we first moved in 2 years ago. We contacted Dorsey right away upon the recommendation of a neighbor. The grass is lush and has filled in nicely and neighbors have been complimentary about how well the lawn has recovered with a little TLC and Dorsey Services.

My lawn was a disaster when I called Dorseys. The Bermuda was dying and what was left was very weak. The Weeds however were very strong and multiplying daily and I had about given up on saving my grass. My kids had stopped playing in the grass due to the weeds having thorns on them and every time somebody went into the yard the Fire Ants would bite. My 3 year old got it the worst - every time she went outside she came back in crying with multiple bites on her arm. I had tried multiple Fire Ant Killer and also different types of week killer and fertilizer but it just kept getting worse. When Dorseys said they could fix all that - I was very skeptical and thought it was just a sales thing. I gave them a shot and havent looked back. Im not sure what they did to the Fire Ants but they left screaming. It is so weird to look out and not see their mounds anymore and since Dorseys started treating there has not been a single fire ant bite in the family. The grass took a few treatments before it started responding but it has come back and is green and lush (except in the winter it is dormant). Even in the areas that were BARE HARD GEORGIA CLAY with no grass left, we have noticed that the grass is starting to run back into those areas which is great. Love the fact that Dorseys just gets it done and done right. I also love the fact that their prices are very reasonable for what they provide. Thanks Dorseys.

The majority of our grass looks great and our problem areas (shade issues) continue to be a work in progress . Our technician is always very pleasant and friendly and the company has always been willing to help with suggestions for our problem areas.
