Invoiced for 45 minutes OVER the actual time spent on a 2.5 hour job ($125/hr). Their website says "Any job big or small". This really means that if the job is under 4 hours you will be invoiced for 4 hours minimum ($125/hr). Time accrued discussing the job (aka. getting-the-estimate) is something you will be billed for if you hire them. Be concise in describing the project and minimize the small talk OR call someone that provides free estimates and instead charges an "equipment delivery/pick-up charge" because Mr Outside will also bill you for the time it takes for them to go get the equipment, maintain it and fuel it and the time to bring it back to their office and unload it. That cost/time will only be revealed when the invoice arrives and it will make you wonder what was included in the $125/hour rate? Other than the over-estimated time spent on the job, Mr. Outside did a great job on the small task they were hired to perform. They were prompt and started the job within an hour of discussing it. THE_TAKE_AWAY Ask to have a set cost for the job rather than an hourly agreement.
