GoldenRule Lawn and Landscape in Issaquah

Very happy with the reconstruction of my yard with new drainage, sprinklers, grading, plantings and especially the new lawn via seeding. This company really cares about their work and a proper outcome and keep coming back until it’s perfect. Scott knows what he’s doing, follow his recommendations and you won’t be disappointed.

Scott is truly a design artist. Ive been gardening 20+ years mostly for privacy on property that had been clear cut, void of any particular interest. he was able to work with my existing landscape while understanding my vision creating more beauty than i had imagined. I have been enjoying his work for three years, nothing has given me more pleasure.

I was a long-time customer. I appreciate Scott and GoldenRule's honesty, integrity, and commitment to customers (several issues that were resolved quickly and without question). However, before and through the pandemic, we started to have gaps in services even though we were paying monthly (we were told that we were far out of the service area for existing customers). We decided to end our service, but the commitment to come and do at least two final passes on our yard for missed time and winterize our sprinkler system didn't happen (even with pictures of the weeds and things we wanted to have removed). In the end, we were disappointed with how our service ended, and I would recommend triple checking with the company how many customers are in the same service area as you.

We have used Scott and his team over the past few years and have had a great experience. They initially installed a new irrigation system for our house and built a new rock bedding area along with a garden. All of them have turned out great. Scott is very responsive to any calls or questions we have and they have replaced two irrigation parts(due to manufacturer issues) within 24 hours of my first call. Thankful for the quick response and action by his team!

Scott and his team completed an incredible upgrade to my backyard. They laid down turf and re-graveled all the footpaths around the house. Quality outstanding. Great communication. Team, friendly, productive, professional and caring of the work they do. I highly recommend Scott and his team for any landscape problems and/or upgrades you need help with. These guys are fantastic! We love our new front and back yards! From design to execution, Scott and his crews were efficient and super pro. The experience was a good mix of us communicating what we wanted and ideas we had, and Scott's perspective on what is possible while being budget conscious. The guys always arrived on time and left the worksite clean after every day. Whenever things came up and changes needed to made during the process, Scott communicated those things clearly so we were never surprised or felt out of the loop. Very happy customers!

This spring, our back lawn was destroyed by crane fly larva. Completely annihilated down to the roots. Scott recommended reseeding with "slot seeder" and literally one month later went from desolation to green paradise with just the seeding. Saved significant money and pain/suffering vs sod. Thanks Scott!

Scott and his crew did a fantastic job on a complete 12 month re-landscaping of our front and back yards, including the addition of a new irrigation system. His supervisor Alvaro was really helpful and accommodating, and everyone was easy to work with. These guys are trustworthy and do excellent work - I highly recommend Golden Rule to anyone needing landscaping or yard care!!!!
