They are extremely respectful, responsible & courteous...one time, Emilio was supposed to come & give me an estimate...he called me about 15 minutes sooner than the time he was expected to tell me he would be a little late...most people dont even call & just show up 30 minutes later...I was very impressed...the crew does a nice job...as my neighbor now uses them too!!!

Update 10/17/24: We used them this year to install belgium blocks as a curb and it looks amazing. They leveled out the landscaping to the new curb and we ve received a lot of compliments. Very professional. We ve used them for years and for a variety of projects from tree and shrub landscaping and maintenance to weekly lawn services. Always punctual and at a fair price.

Softwind Landscaping took a VERY overgrown ( with weeds) side lawn and a VERY messy and overgrown backyard garden and turned a truly horrible mess into a normal green lawn. They even removed our broken down greenhouse and our decrepit compost fence. Then they created three different areas with different types of plantings, and today they installed sprinklers. They also removed a cracked cement walk and broken stoop and put in the most beautiful stone stoop and paved walkway with a new railing and mailbox. The house looks 1000% better. I am thrilled with the results.

Softwind Landscaping did work for me this month- Their work was excellent- - More than I expected- They redid a garden bed in the front of my home -replaced alberta Spruce trees- replanted some of my perenials and added many more to the bed- It looks great- The colors are so well coordinated. Emelio did a wonderful job in designing and also working very hard with Kevin(who is terrific)and a very hard worker- They had to remove alot of old rocks that I had in the bed and replace with mulch- When they finished it was so well cleaned up- did not know that work was done- Looks great- I would highly recommend them- They are also very responsive and prompt. Softwind Landscape & Masonry are true professionals and visionaries. I finally decided to redo my driveway for spring 2024 and my front stoop which led to a new walkway and a similar one in my backyard which I extended. I was undecided on colors and just wasn t sure which direction I wanted to go but talking to Anthony and Emilio, the vision came to life, and I appreciated their knowledge of the pavers which they use Cambridge (toffee onyx) which are excellent quality, and that company stands behind their product as well. Softwind uses only the best! My driveway with apron came out beautiful and the walkway is gorgeous. Against the elements of the weather, they worked around my timing and got it done efficiently without lacking quality. They work as if it s their own home think about that premise. It is a messy process with the materials and laying down the work, but they do pretty good clean up afterwards. We did have a bump with the stoop as I needed new framing, but Anthony was adamant about making sure he secured the area to avoid any future issues and placed a storm guard as well. I also needed help with landscaping design in my back yard which Emilio helped me with designing nothing elaborate, but more than I would have done on my own and Anthony had a lot of input as well with the garden beds and relocating a bush plus advising on safety regarding removal and trimming of trees. He was very nice to work with and you may wonder about pricing because I had a lot done between my driveway, stoop, walkways, landscaping, tree work and even fence issues but he was fair, and I kept to my budget well as I wanted to get things done all at once so that helped with cost. I never felt pressured or anxious they always put me at ease. I have them set to handle my landscaping needs for the year to include spring and fall cleanups, adding mulch and treating areas where I never had grass grow properly. Anthony connected me with a wonderful sprinkler company as well nice, professional, and fairly priced. Softwind Landscape & Masonry is an all-in-one shop where you deal with a nice team, the owner is great, you get assistance if you re unsure what you want or need a little guidance if you have an idea. They are really the best around and I am so happy I reached out to them to help beautify my home. As homeowners, you want to take pride in appearance of your home and Anthony, Emilio, Samantha and so many others on the team were really great and made an intimidating process an easy-breezy one. I m not a client but I wanted to leave a 5 star review. These guys did a huge clean up for a neighbor of mine, they parked their trucks in front of my house. I thought for sure they would leave behind a mess for me to clean up (which I usually don t care too much about but I just had my clean up yesterday) but there wasn t a leaf left behind. This goes to show what pride this company takes in their work and speaks volumes about respecting others (even if they re not a client). Good work!

We are extremely happy with softwind!! Anthony is incredibly easy to talk to and truly listens to what you want, he checks on the jobs and makes sure everything is done to your satisfaction. Emelio has been an absolute treasure! After purchasing our home we knew there was work to be done in the garden beds and had no idea where to begin. After trying to redo things on our own for a while, we decided it was time to call in some help. Anthony an Emelio came to help design beds in our backyard to start where we planted privacy trees and hydrangeas. We absolutely loved the look and quality of work and plants. We then had them back to redesign 2 front garden beds and add a garden bed on the side of our property. Emelio took the time to listen to what we liked, what we didn t and even planned out how to reuse/rehome some of our existing bushes to keep cost very affordable while creating the look we ve been going for! We couldn t be happier with softwind!!

Where do I begin, Unreliable services, poor communication and unprofessional, on several instances I had to make complaints. Its Friday and my lawn has not been cut nor have I been contacted to be advised why it hasnt been cut. Attempting to overcharge me for applying treatment to a small area on my lawn is ridiculous. My grass under your care has worsen over the course of the season. Blaming the previous landscaper is not the answer and continuing to spray at this venture is not the answer. Your mowers are butchering my lawn and spreading crabgrass seeds on my grass. All the information provided to me in the beginning have not been honored. We Ended up hiring another company to clean up the horrible job do ne to our lawn. I think its unethical when the owner and his friends provide reviews on his own business. Buyer beware!!!

Hired Softwind Landscaping to level my side yard and lay some Top Soil & Sod. They arrived early in the morning and turned my disaster of a yard into a gorgeous lawn; and at a Great price! Very happy with Softwind and would 100% use them again.

Softwind provides great quality work and very reasonable prices. We had our stoop, columns and railings replaced. We were very concerned with staying within budget. We did so and the result of the construction was fantastic. We are very happy.

Excellent work and excellent staff

In preparation for a family gathering, I needed my yard trimmed and cleaned asap. I called Softwinds and they sent someone over that day to give me an estimate. The estimate was fair and equitable and I was promised that it would be done that week. The NEXT DAY, at 7:30 in the morning, two trucks and five men swept onto my property and in five hours completed what would have taken me more than a week to complete. I highly recommend their services and already have to everyone who has asked.

Called after having our pool installed and the yard was a disaster. Anthony was there the next day and gave an estimate. Explained he was busy and would be a couple weeks and would put us on the schedule. Kept in touch with updates and started in the few weeks he said. Nick and his crew leveled the whole backyard, added new sprinklers, graded with new topsoil, added a sports court, moved a shed, laid sod and did the front gardens. Unbelievable work and finished when he said he would. Also, came back right away a few times to fix minor issues when I called. Would highly recommend softwind.

Unreliable. Poor communication. Very overpriced compared to others in the market, considering the quality provided. Showed up outside of the agreed upon schedule and did the work while no one was home. Stopped returning calls/texts. Had to have other companies come in to do additional work to make the yard look better, and to redo the in-ground sprinkler work. Also had to have them repair the non-working gate Softwind left behind as we were still waiting for the owner to take care of it for over a month. All that and our newly planted yard is half weeds. Buyer beware.

Soft Wind Landscaping has been a breath of fresh air to me. They are so professional. They come when they say they will, they check in with me to ask if I d like extra services, but they do not pressure me. Their extra services are done beautifully. The billing and payment system is so easy, with receipts and records texted and/or emailed to me. I highly recommend them!

Softwind did an awesome job with the sprinklers and sod installation at my house. They price was very fair and the quality of the work was excellent. Buyer beware: 100% Unreliable. I booked Softwind Landscapers to blow out my sprinklers last fall. They took so long to come that by the time I realized they weren t coming I had a lot of trouble finding someone to blow out my sprinklers. Anthony Briody did not return my several voicemails or my several messages on his Facebook page. I finally posted my experience on Facebook today and he had the comment removed. Anthony then proceed to message me personally on Facebook until I felt it was necessary to block him. Since they don t want to be held responsible for their mistake, I m sure there will be a comment from Softwind right here below mine justifying their inability to hold up their end of an agreement. If you book them, just have a back up plan in case they don t show. Also, please note that negative reviews posted here are replied with excuses every time. But do you notice a pattern?

Anthony and his crew did a great job assessing our yard based on our needs and complete overhaul. Their sprinkler revamp updated our system perfectly; great coverage for the whole backyard. The sod removal, top soil leveling and new sod were all top notch. We had a TON of rocks to be removed; Anthony made the best recommendation that allowed us to get it all out quicker versus our initial plan/thoughts. The backyard is perfect!

Had these guys come and adjust my sprinkler locations, fixed bad valves, topsoiled, leveled, seeded and treated my entire property. The guys worked very hard and were very professional. So happy to have found a landscaper that actually cares about their work! Highly recommend them!

I must say. He by far has one of the best landscape companies on long island. The owner anthony is friendly and easy to talk to. He only hires professional workers whom do the job right the first time. Best value for your buck hands down. Keep up the good work guys. God bless

Our lawn and yard has never looked so bad. We had to spend additional money for another company to come trim bushes/hedges. We also spent $$$ and time doing work, weeding, seeding on our own bc of their lack of performance. Ppl hire landscapers so they don t have to do it! What a waste of our hard earned $$$ and time! Each time we ve complained to the owner he said he would take care of it and each time NOTHING was done. Look closely at who is reviewing this company on google, Facebook and yelp! It s a lot of the owners family and friends.

Anthony is very honest, up front and knowledgeable about a lot of things. Just starting with them this year and so far, so good.
