Update: Since my review, our local office has gone through a restructuring and has new managers in charge. Hopefully they improve their services as well. ........ Such potential here! We had high hopes for Trugreen in our area of SoCal, near Pomona, but unfortunately our experience was terrible on many levels. I do not leave negative reviews lightly, however this has been going on for over 6 months. The pros: The service guys were great, very polite and professional and did their jobs quickly. The cons: Everything else! Whoever schedules the servicemen routinely sends them to our house at the wrong time, on the wrong days/months, and even with the wrong services! It is very frustrating to have to call customer service again and again, and explain what we actually signed up for and want to pay for. The sales team, customer service, and service departments obviously dont communitcate with each other and they promise services and prices that the other departments dont uphold. We were told a particular service was 6 installments, only to discover the servicemen at our home again after the 6 were completed. We called customer service and this time they said, no, there are 8 installments. We did not agree to pay for 8, but its too late because they already came when we didnt expect or agree to it. Several times we rescheduled a service appointment and no one told the service guys who came anyway (what a waste of their time!) so we had to go out and tell them to stop working because we had already rescheduled. One service member said that happens a lot. Another time we rescheduled a 1 time service and on the appointed day they sent the wrong tech who did something completely different. It has been one headache after another. A customer representative even came out to our home to talk to us (which was rather strange in and of itself), but they were evasive, unhelpful, and tried to upsell us on new services instead of offering solutions. We just want the service we originally agreed to when we started, nothing more or less. If the different departments communicated better then I can see how this could be a great compay to work with, but instead we are left with a lawn that still looks awful, a hole in our wallet, and a frustrating lack of answers.

Prior to treatment of my lawn, i told the technician about some issues that I was experiencing. He completed the treatment and explained that he was going to treat the area of my concern. He also was patient enough to wait for my gardener to finish before he applied the treatment. I have no complaints. Very satisfied with the services..

The service is fast because the products & equipment they use is new and uodated.

I have the lawn fertilizer and weed plus the mosquitoe service. Both seem to be doing a great job keeping my lawn weed free (the yard was sod grass put in December 2023). The mosquitoes that I used have a lot of has been drastically reduced. However, there app needs improvement. Also they dont notify you they are coming until the day before they do the service. Thats a problem as I have 3 small dogs and a cat, and I need to make sure they are kept inside the house when they come. I currently have some medical issues that limit my mobility and many doctor appointments. I wish they would fix that. Seems like an easy fix to their app and computer scheduling machine.

Professional, polite, and knowledgeable. All the technicians have been great. Today Kyle came and was great. I wish I had started this service years ago. Best decision yet for my yard.

Krystle S did a good job applying the lawn food and applying the weed killer. She was very knowledgeable in lawn care and gave a detailed explanation in what she applied today.

Been fighting this Clover all year. Cant get rid of it comes up in an abundance and when they treated the lawn its 2 or 3 days already and its really dying and I hope it doesnt come back thank you Im really impressed

Came the same week I signed up. Some of the weeds didnt die and they came back and hit them again. Much better job and responsiveness.

Promptly replies to inquiries. Service personnel are trackable, on time and courteous.

This 2nd visit was free because (maybe?) the tech had not been told about my after 10 am time restriction for his first visit... He came before 7:30 am when the side gate was locked; I didnt hear him knock & also hadnt seen the realtime notification updates on the app (brand new customer). I was home again this time and met him after 10 am - so, my cat was brought indoors, and I told Ethan which areas (fruit trees) to avoid spraying. Thank you TruGreen customer service for responding to my call and rescheduling this service to meet my originally-stated requirements...that is THE best way to make new customers happy & keep them loyal long-term!

I had a bit of a disappointing start after signing on with expectations presented by the salesperson. I have since come to appreciate the responsiveness of the company. They have quickly answered each concern I have had and made great efforts to resolve my lawn problems. Each person that has come to my home has been accommodating and professional. Alex Z came today and was great.

Richard applied mosquito control with a portable sprayer. if possible, I prefer you use your truck compressor to apply your mosquito control spray.

I am very grateful for Orions help in keeping my lawn in shape because I couldnt keep the Oxala weed from taking over my yard. I needed professional help. It is well worth the money. Thank you very much.

Went with Truegreen because I felt that I needed some help with my yard. I called out the rep and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. I figured lets see what they can do and signed up for their Full Lawn Care and Shrub. Well on the first visit the care specialist did not do anything that the rep said. Not looking at the grass for what it needs, no checking the soil, nothing. He just came sprayed the grass and then threw fertilizer on it and done. Took less than 20 minutes on my yard and I thought to myself, thats it. I think he spent more time writing up the receipt than actually servicing the lawn. That cost me $67 dollars! The second time someone else came. They just fertilized the back by throwing Revive and spent less than 10 minutes. Another $67. What a rip off. Totally not worth it. I can buy a bag for half that price and do it myself. I thought I was getting a Specialist who actually look and care for the lawn. Nope! Dont waste your time. What a ripoff!

Terrible service. Billing problems from the start. Identified two major problems which were never addressed. All that was done was an attempt to up- sell. We asked for a supervisor to contact us, which happened twice. No relief at all. Waste of time and money.

When we started using True Green our lawn went from large bare spots that no amount of water and fertilizer seemed to fix, to a fully green, luxuriant lawn that looks as good if not better than any in the neighborhood.

It was very pleasant and I have total confidence in this company!

I have been a TRUGREEN customer for many years. I mow, but TRUGREEN takes care of the weed control, fertilizer, and grub control. My neighbors continually comment on how much better my lawn looks than theirs. Henry Marshall was the tech. for my last treatment. Henry took the time to talk with me both before and after the application. He was patient as I ask questions, and answered in a way that I understood.

Quick, efficient, and little to no effort on my part. Will see in a few weeks as to effectiveness, but based on the service throughout the year results have been very good.

I recently had a problem with my shrubs and I contacted TruGreen. They were very responsive to my issues and sent a shrub expert to examine the problem. I have found the same to be true for any lawn problems that I may have had in the past.

My lawn definately looks greener since the service has started this year I still have a dandelion problem, but my technician said this last treatment I just got would help take care of them. My technician is very friendly and courteous, and seems to know his job. We are very pleased with his service.

I prefer the TruGreen service because I know my lawn and shrubs are receiving the proper feeding on a regular basis that is needed to maintain a healthy lawn and surrounding shrubbery. Knowing that the TruGreen service is regularly scheduled gives me piece of mind and provides me with some additional free time. I would recommend the service to everyone.
