I have used SLS for a couple of items over the years. They have done tree trimming, landscape design, and soil quality restoration for us. They do these projects at a fair cost with superb quality. Value wise they run a great operation in comparison to larger companies. They have their eye on sustainable practices unsurprisingly. I think the differentiator for them, and why I keep using them, is that they are much more responsive and flexible to meet their customer needs. I wanted SLS to run their aerator over my lawn more than usual and they were the o ly company that worked with me to do so.
Our yard is so much better this year after having SLS work on it last fall, and we know next year will be even better. The staff is knowledgeable, accommodating, and very friendly. I highly recommend them!
We had SLS do some curb edging around our home and they did a great job, exactly the way we discussed. The work area was very clean and everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable!
These folks were great to work with. They came out to see the project and gave me a quote on the spot. They even worked with me as to when I was taking a vacation to work me into their schedule. The work was completed and it looks fantastic. My wife was a little sceptic as to what I wanted to do with our landscaping but after she saw the finished project, she really liked it. They care about the customer and the work they do. I am 100% satisfied.
Virginia and team did a wonderful job on two landscaping projects for us. We had some overgrown bushes removed on a shady side of the house in 2023 and native shade tolerant plants installed. In 2024 we had the grass on our Right of Way replaced with trees and native prairie plants. We are very pleased with the outcome, the SLS team and will be working with them as future projects arise.
Sustainable Landscape Solutions has been a fantastic company for us to work with on multiple projects. We have hired them for several large and smaller projects over the last few years. For example, they have taken care of a huge water drainage issue in our backyard, landscaped our back and front yard, and performed their soil quality restoration (SQR) work yearly for us to keep our yard looking awesome! My partner and I have been very happy with the quality of work and the incredible crew we have worked with each time. They just finished landscaping the front of our yard and around our shed, and the project manager, Kirk, was fantastic to from the planning phase through the close of the project. The crew leaders, Shawn and Helaina were super knowledgeable, friendly and thorough, even as we made minor adjustments along the way! The other crew that assisted, Zach and Ian were also wonderful to interact with and did a great job! We are so happy with this, and every prior, experience with SLS and we plan to continue to use them for all of our landscaping projects moving forward! Thanks, SLS!
I decided to get a Soil Quality Restoration done this fall and the results have been remarkable! I was very impressed with all involved including the owner, the office staff, and the hard working people in the field. They were very friendly, professional and super conscientious! Couldn’t be more pleased.

Extremely happy with the work SLS did to transform our overgrown, unremarkable backyard into something so lovely, I cant stop staring at and wandering through it. Virginias design is unique and tailored to our particular space and family - she even incorporated aspects for my kid to enjoy. She was responsive, kind, and knowledgeable and the SLS team was respectful and professional, and did a great job bringing the design to life. I appreciated how the design was broken into components, giving us flexibility if needed. I was given aftercare instructions and recommendations, and check-ins to make sure things are growing well for us. Couldnt recommend working with SLS more!
SLS is a gold standard for landscape services and installation. I use them as much as I can and their communication and consideration is top notch. I always enjoy the people they have on site who are considerate and ask questions. They keep you up to date on what they re doing (unlike most contractors) and they are locally owned/managed. Good work on soil restoration.
I highly recommend SLS! The project manager/designer incorporated my ideas into her final plan, and had wonderful recommendations for plants. The landscape team was efficient and amazing. All the bushes they planted last fall are thriving. My backyard was transformed into a space without invasive species, and now the focus is a majority of native plants. My goal of an easier to maintain space that supports the environment is well on its way.
My company mows a multitude of lawns that Sustainable Landscape has done work for and they are top notch! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for landscaping in the corridor area.

The SLS team is the best in the business. Kirk project managed our residential landscaping project and provided excellent communication throughout. During the design phase, SLS provides a visual mock-up and even a virtual video walk through. This really brings things to life and increases decision confidence as a customer. The on-site team was professional and very efficient. We work from home and we did not have any noise disruption. We would highly recommend Sustainable Landscape Solutions. Our project consisted of tearing out an old concrete patio and replacing it with something nicer and more usable. We could not be happier with the process (fast) and the result (beautiful!).

Ive now worked with Sustainable Landscape Solutions for 2 projects and was very happy with the outcome on both. Amanda Welch (Office Manager) does a great job with communications throughout. Im looking forward to a greener lawn after the the application of compost and seed. Amanda handled the application with the City and followed up to make sure that I got my 50% reimbursement for the work. Highly recommend this company.

Cant say enough great things about this company! Everyone was so friendly and easy to work with. Even with weather challenges, changes to the scope and details of the plan... SLS was able to make everything work without a fuss. They may take awhile to get to your project, but its well worth the wait. Just remember that they are taking the time to make someone elses project perfect, just like theyll do for you!

SLS used the latest in engineering and materials to build our retaining wall with guardrail anchors. I am very happy with the product which looks like it will last longer than me.
