Everyone at River Heights Outdoor Solutions was responsive, knowledgeable, and easy to work with from the first contact. They really listened to what we were looking for and provided an overall design for a complete re-landscaping of our property that met all of our requirements. They worked with us to break the proposal up into phases. Phase one was started this fall and the amount of work they accomplished was amazing. The crews that worked on the project were extremely friendly, worked hard, and left the space clean every night. We are looking forward to the continued work on the project once spring arrives. I definitely recommend River Heights, Nick, and his team for quality landscape work from a company that really cares about their customers.

We had a great experience with River Heights Outdoor Solutions. We had a project to redo our aging and unkempt front yard landscaping. Mike was our designer/project manager, and listened to what we wanted and came up with a good plan (even reusing existing plants). He's very knowledgeable and passionate about plants and landscaping. Melchor lead the landscaping crew when it was time to execute the project, and they all did a great job. The time from us starting the plan to completion was long, but that had a lot to do with us adding more to the scope early on. It was still finished during the planting season this year. River Heights did a landscape project involving both plants and hardscape (some stairs, a path, and accent boulders) in July 2024. Overall, our experience was just okay. The design was uninspired. I guess we expected more for almost $800. We often felt like our input and concerns were not reflected in the design. Changes to the plan we're not accurately updated, and we never did get a copy of the final plan to review and work from. This resulted in a lot of frustration on both ends. In hindsight we should have demanded change orders and an updated plan/estimate. We are people who are actively involved in our projects. We know what we want and can be very particular (shouldn't we be if we're spending tens of thousands of dollars?). They seemed okay with that for a while, but then essentially told us to butt out. Communication about when work was to start, when crews were going to be there/not be there needs significant improvement. The work crew was great. Worked hard, easy to talk to, and respectful of our property. All that to say the end result looks great but the journey there was frustrating.
River Heights Outdoor Solutions has done three projects for me over the last 5 years or so, but the latest was the largest. My two tier retaining was just finished and is awesome. Nick was very easy to work with in designing and answering question. The crew was at my house a week plus and were such hard workers, so polite, quiet and perfect cleanup each day as was the case in the other projects. My neighbors even commented on how nice they were. I would highly recommend this company. I worked with Dakota on the landscaping part of the project and his plans turned out perfect. The plants he chose are such a compliment to the retaining wall and the house. Again the crew at River Heights are hard workers and so polite.
We recently had a significant patio repair completed by River Heights Outdoor Solutions, and we're very happy with the outcome. It looks as good as new again. Nick was excellent at communication, always responding promptly. Despite encountering an unforeseen issue during the project, the crew's quick action prevented it from escalating into a larger problem, for which we're grateful. I highly recommend them!
I live in a gated community in Apple Valley. River Heights does all of the snow removal, and they are AMAZING!! I never have to worry about leaving for work or walking my dogs around the property. Previous years have not been so easy… My car always makes it out of the garage, and all the drivers are very professional. I will be hiring them to take care of our future home. I would highly recommend River Heights to anyone!
The last couple years we’ve been using River heights to help restore our grass as it was riddled with crab grass and weeds. Joe Stennes is very knowledgeable and has made our yard look Absolutely amazing with his knowledge and fertilizing program. Last year we also used them to install a new paver patio, Moises and Pedro were awesome to work with and did a wonderful job and we’re very professional! I would highly recommend River Heights for any outdoor solutions!

Joe and the Riverheights team surpassed my expectations for ongoing landscape and lawn maintenance. I had struggled to find someone who would show up consistently, manage garden beds including hand weeding, replacing plants as needed and make suggestions for improvements. In addition to lawn care and garden management we had them take over mosquito spraying and sprinkler system. We are so satisfied. You can get photos of the work from Nick. Had an old small deck removed. Then grading. Had a larger, maintenance free deck installed that wraps around East to South of our home. About 3 times larger than what we had. Then pavers placed at ground level to give us even more room and esthetically a big improvement. Then had a pergola placed over the paver area to decrease the Sun from baking us crispy. Field stones were carefully placed around all. A drainage system was installed to keep water from coming into the basement. The team cleaned up every day they were here. They protected the lawn as much as possible and re-seeded as needed. The entire crew are very polite and professional. Good folks if you talk to them. You would want to have a couple beers with them. Got to say that I asked most of the crew if they were happy working for Nick. Each and every one of them were sincerely appreciative working for Nick. Most of them has worked for Nick many years. Budget was fair and on point. I can t say enough good things about the work and crew!
