They were very professional and understanding with what was needed and fixed it promptly. We hired Landscapes Unlimited to design and create our landscape for our new home. We are thrilled with the result and would strongly recommend Landscapes Unlimited. The yard looks amazing, they did a great job coordinating all the irrigation and all decorative areas really elevate the look of the entire property. Special recognition for Mike Mathwig who helped design and coordinate the project. He was always available to answer questions and came out often to the property to meet with me to do walk throughs.

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. WAY OVER PRICED AND UNCOOPERTIVE!! THEY CHARGED 3 HOURS FOR SHOVELING 50FT OF SIDEWALK THAT BARELY HAD A DUSTING OF SNOW.

Our home builder used this company for our landscaping. We had an upgraded package for trees. The trees were selected by the landscaping company based on the area they d be planted. We haven t had any of the trees make it thru a season yet. Numerous other residents have complained about the same thing. Landscape company simply replied that they there is no warranty after the first ones are replaced . They suggested I hire them to come evaluate the types of trees we plant and where we plant them. I asked if they did not do that in the first place. I never got a response from them. They suggested initially they d had turn over last fall and fell behind on warranty claims. Customer service isn t a strong attribute for this company.

This company has done a wonderful job ony landscape, very professional.

Estimate for a small retaining wall was ridiculously high priced. Had 3 other quotes from other companies and they were $4-5k less than this company.

Landscapes unlimited crushed it on my landscaping. Granite boulder walls, plants and trees look fantastic Patrick was given our vision and knocked it out of the park. A big thanks to landscapes Unlimited and Chris Holmgren for their professional work.

This was a great company to work with from start to finish and we absolutely love the work completed in our yard! The designer really listened to what we wanted and turned it into a reality. They divided our project into phases to meet our budgeting needs. The project manager and crew that came to install the various aspects (boulder walls, patio, walkways and plants) were all very friendly and hard working. They are very knowledgeable. Our yard went from ho-hum to family fun space where we can relax and entertain. We love it and couldnt be happier.

Service was professional, quick and such good quality. I am so pleased with how my pool area and back yard came out. Chris was great to deal with and his team did an absolute amazing job! Highly recommend!

We needed a mow, trim, edging, and clean up at a large rental property in the area, and we needed it the next day. I called Joel and he was able to move around their schedule to fit us in, and they did an excellent job! Joel was very responsive, and his team did a very thorough job. I spoke to a few of the employees, and they were all extremely friendly and accommodating. Id recommend Landscapes Unlimited to anyone thats looking for a lawn care and snow removal service!

Chris Holmgren at Landscapes Unlimited is the consummate professional! We had a very large retaining wall replaced, 3 levels, each about 8 feet high. The wall look perfect, the steps are spectacular, and the project went as planned and on time. Also, the existing landscaping was restored impeccably. Furthermore, the crew was knowledgeable, hard working, polite, and cleaned up everyday after work. The entire experience was nothing but positive and I strongly recommend Landscapes Unlimited for any landscaping project you way have.

Their work is so so terrible. Do not waste your money working with this company. The owner is a sad excuse of a human and you will regret it.

Their services were not good. They did not do a good job of staying on schedule for their results. It took them over 3 weeks from their original completion date to complete the work. If I I had to do it again I wouldn t use their services.

They could not hold up to their promises. After their work was finished they billed me for more than what we agreed on. I talked to the owner Chris who disregarded what I had to say and pretty much said that they billed me for their mistakes. Will not be choosing this company again.

This company cannot stay on schedule and they do not have very good ethics. Their communication was also poor. I would not recommend this company in the future.

Would rate Landscapes Unlimited a zero if I could. My wife and I wanted to redo the rock bed in front of our house, and saw a post by Landscapes Unlimited. When I spoke to Chris, he promised that it will be done within 2 weeks. The project ended up taking almost a month with no explanation when I asked Chris. Also asked for a little bit of a discount and he basically spit in my face.

Overall a great experience working with LU for our patio installation. An issue encountered during the install required another contractor to address. This took several weeks to complete and our PM, Patrick, kept in contact with that contractor and the day that work was complete, LU was on site to continue work. Project was on budget and completed on time within the scope of their control. I would recommend their services.

Landscapes Unlimited designed and installed the patio and fire pit at our newly built home. Their team is professional and their work is of the highest quality. They returned this spring to perform the spring enhancement of our landscaping. We are delighted with the final product and hope to continue working with them to maintain our landscaping. Jake is a great communicator.

**** Long Review Please Read**** We moved back to Minnesota from Charlotte NC where we live for 3 years and had issues after issues with landscaping companies down there. When we moved back we were bracing ourselves for a horrible experience with landscaping companies here especially since we didnt get to choose the company as our builder already contracted with landscaping unlimited. With that said, I was able to reach out ask questions and upgrade and change things we wanted to change prior to install. I expected to get huffing and puffing and a grumpy response due to questions and changes we decided to make. To our surprise we got the exact opposite. We were first instructed Mike Kling who couldnt have been happier to assist with questions and sending pictures as well as providing his own suggestions on what should be done. While Mike was out on vacation I communicated with Lindsey who had the same demeanor where she couldnt have been happier to assist as well as provide her professional opinion on certain items. We also had a last minute question regarding our package late at night where I emailed her at 10pm. I fully didnt expect to get a response until the next day but she responded within 15 mins. As I told both Mike and Lindsey as well as their manager John who was also a pleasure to speak with. The company that did work for our builder in Charlotte showed us what company to stay away from, and the company that did the work for our builder here in Minnesota (Landscapes Unlimited) showed us what company I want to do business with in the future. This company takes the customer service side of the business seriously and Id be happy to recommend them to anyone in the future.

Landscapes Unnlimiteds crew did an excellent job. They cleared and cleaned all the garden areas and put down the best mulch. I am so pleased with the integrity and work ethic of this company and the guys who did the work. They worked hard. They cleaned up the area and the street in front of our house when they were done. I highly recommend Landscapes Unlimited for any landscaping work needed. The deer even liked the new landscaping.

I have been very pleased with all the services I have received from Landscapes Unlimited. They are very professional and always responsive. The work is done within the time table they give us, as long as weather cooperates. I would love to have them for lawn and garden maintenance all season but I know they switch over to their hardscape business after the month of May. Thanks LU!

Landscapes Unlimited, did another outstanding job for our business, here at the League of Minnesota Cities. They worked diligently and efficiently, on our perimeter flower beds and our parking lot islands. Freeing us from weed intrusion and cleaning up the landscape within said areas. We had a fantastic experience with Mike and the entire crew of Landscapes Unlimited! Our yard has very dense, water logged soil. Pools coming up with every dig...They recognized the issues and no matter the extra labor, they set the foundation to ensure the build was done right the first time! Mike presented us with a design exactly what we envisioned and worked with us on ensuring it was in line with our budget! The crew were on time and extremely professional and fun to chat with. We will be using them for our future landscaping needs!

Patrick came out to the house to provide a quote and after multiple weeks of reaching out to him, I finally gave up. We never received the quote or follow up information. The initial interactions started off well so its unfortunate that he was unable to even provide a basic response back.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Landscapes unlimited did a total back yard remodel for us 4 years ago (which turned out fine). This year we wanted to make a change and add some additional pavers. They installed grey pavers in our yard- that completely don t match the rest of our brown pavers. They claimed that their designer thought they would look good. It s horrible and very embarrassing. They came out and looked and agree that they don t match (which was also obvious from the photos I sent them. And then sent an estimate o over $4k to replace them with the the right color. I m absolutely convinced that they used left over pavers from a previous job to save money on their end (I paid full price from them for these and to install them). Super disappointed with their follow-up and resolution. I d love to hear from others on what they would do with this space??

The entire team was wonderful from the initial visit to talk about the project to installation. I was extremely impressed with everyone I talked to. I would highly recommend them. Work was top quality and it was a great experience.

Landscapes Unlimited arrived exactly on time for starting my project of regrading the yard away from the house. They were quick and quiet and cleaned the work site thoroughly. When I went to check the final product it was like they hadnt disturbed a thing because it was so well done!

Anthony came out on a late Friday, seriously late Friday, who does that nowadays....shocked me, but he fixed all my needs even after I had all the original installers from another company out to adjust everything. This guy was fantastic, totally professional, did his job better than what i ever expected! I even offered him a beer and he refused...lol. Great guy, give him a raise...he was awesome! We hired Landscapes Unlimited for a front yard make-over and couldnt be happier with the results! Everyone we were in contact with (from the sales staff to the crew that did the work to the office support staff) were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. The price was reasonable and competetive and the quality of work they did is exceptional. Ive already recommended them to friends and family and strongly recommend them to anyone else looking to have high quality professional landscaping services done.

We had them come out to finish grade our new lot and get it ready for seeding as well as do some retaining walls and edging for plant beds. They did great with the retaining walls and plant bed edging. But did not complete the finish grading. We ve done multiple projects with them before because their designer Dave is incredible. But after this we will no longer use them. Dave has always been our point of contact and does great relaying any of our needs. Problem is the project manager apparently doesn t care to finish it. Dave has reached out multiple times to him over the past month to get guys over to finish the job and no ones has came. I ended up having to rent a skid steer myself to finish the grading.

Where to start with the compliments? These guys did an amazing job and we couldn t be happier. We had a tight timeline with an upcoming backyard wedding and the crew was very cognizant of that. Al, JJ and Dolman did amazing work on all of the hard sales and garden beds. They are highly skilled, meticulous and very professional. And they were quick to get all of the work done. Jeff did an amazing job designing. He even came over in the evening and walked me through plant and light placement. Brian, our project manager, was wonderful. He called and stopped by every day with updates and to chat through questions or changes. He was very patient with us and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. He focused on the details and worked really hard to get things perfect. The lights are awesome and the sod is beautiful and the perfect final touch. We really enjoyed working with the whole crew and we are very grateful.

Landscapes unlimited did landscaping in my backyard on a difficult slope. Done very well. They have very good skilled team and machinery. Jake was very prompt in communication and keeping updated. Price was reasonable too. I would recommend them .

We hired this company to do a retaining wall and yard restoration post a pool install. While the retaining wall was very well done, they had to come back out to redo the restoration due to not executing the water flow. Throughout the process it was very difficult for anyone to return our calls or for us to understand the timing of the process. We would reach out and it take over a week for anyone to return our call. When they would call us back, they said they just have been busy. It just felt there was a complete lack of organization and communication throughout the company. The sprinkler people would say this and the landscaping team would say this, they just weren t aligned. After $24,000 and all summer for it to be complete, it was just a very frustrating process for us. While the rock wall looks amazing, I would absolutely not pick this company to do work for us again and not recommend them.

I hired the wrong group first, and needed help in a pinch. The team came to my property, assessed what was needed, and delivered outstanding results, on time and on budget. They are not the cheapest provide, but the quality, and professionalism are top notch. Call these guys first.

Am writing to share my experience with Landscapes Unlimited on our recent landscaping project. Our project included installation of an irrigation system, box drains and drain tile, boulder walls, landscaping/ flower beds around our entire home, installation of a large pavers patio, and selection/planting of trees, shrubs and perennials. Our project was flawless from start to finish. Our landscape designer, Lindsey, was awesome. She developed an initial concept plan, and worked with us tirelessly to refine and perfect the plan. We made numerous changes during the process, and Lindsey was incredibly responsive, clearly interested in our complete satisfaction. The project required considerable coordination/flexibility due to our home builders ever-changing schedule for final grading, inspections, sodding, etc. Lindsey and our project manager Brian did an outstanding job of choreographing everything. Our finished product exceeded expectations. My wife Jeanne and I would recommend Landscapes Unlimited without reservation.

This was a great experience all around. Were still early in the ownership of the new landscaping, but the cleanliness, speed of work, and communication were all quite good. As a credit to their efforts: I have received almost universal positive comments from both neighbors and random walkers-by. Small challenges that we encountered along the way were resolved in a customer-forward manner that now has built my trust in them. I strongly recommend them for the work they have done so far.

Landscape unlimited planted a high quality tree replacement and was very responsive to both the estimate and executing the job. Clean up after the project was also top-notch.

We recently had a hardscape project done by Landscapes Unlimited. It included 2 patio areas connected by a winding path. We couldn t be happier with it! The materials are beautiful and the work is outstanding. One of our neighbors said that we upgraded the whole neighborhood with this project! Jeff did a great job of making suggestions, explaining options and solving problems We particularly enjoyed working with Brian. He s a great guy and made sure everything was done according to the plan. We would highly recommend Landscapes Unlimited.

I cannot speak to the quality of any landscaping work this company performs, but they are extremely non-responsive to prospective customers. I have left multiple messages over the course of 14 months and spoken with an employee twice who took my information and assured me that a member of their design team would contact me (now weeks ago) within the next business day. Very unprofessional. I would much rather that a company simply inform me that they are unable to take on any additional work than to explicitly tell me that they will be in contact and then fail to do so multiple times.

Great to work with! The design was beautiful and took all of our wants and needs into consideration. The end result is a wonderful outdoor space that we will enjoy for years to come!

Landscapes Unlimited was hired this summer for what started out as a basic landscape project. The project originally started out with goals of adding a fire pit and landscaping around our septic tank covers. However the end result was a complete transformation of our backyard into an oasis complete with a spectacular water feature (think mountain stream), fire pit, paver patio, hot tub, accent lighting and outdoor speakers. It is simply beautiful and no doubt our favorite spot to relax and entertain. Landscapes Unlimited also addressed a number of grading and drainage issues which have provided long term benefit for our home. I cannot say enough about their professionalism, attention to detail, creativity and focus on customer satisfaction. At every turn, there were little touches that made a world a difference. It always seemed like each and every worker treated the project as if they were working on their own home. They arrived early, stayed late and we truly enjoyed the experience. I cannot say enough about Celine, Kevin, Eric and the entire team. They were simply wonderful to work with. I do not write many reviews and compliments typically dont flow easily. With Landscapes Unlimited, it is absolutely my pleasure to write this review and give them all of the credit they deserve. There is no doubt that for any future landscape projects, we will be turning to Landscapes Unlimited.

Chris and his team of experts did a fantastic job of revamping our landscaping and creating an amazing outdoor living space for us to enjoy at our new home. I was impressed with the strategy in deciding on what to plant, as well as the precise measurements of their foreman in building the patio and walls to be perfectly level and beautiful as they layered textures and colors that accented our newly built home. Everyone we worked with was accommodating and I could tell that they cared about excellence, as we do. I have referred them to many friends and will continue to do so. Oh, and my vision of a stone staircase that I couldnt find a picture of, turned out to be a beautiful entrance to the patio and we couldnt be happier!
