We love what Alex, Ben, Will, Nick, Caan and Fred have done to our garden. We gaze out in awe during the day and night (thanks to Warren and Dave s mastery outdoor lighting work) and still can t quite believe the amazing transformation. A brilliant, incredibly professional, team that we would highly recommend!

The Essex Garden Co business model is second to none. The Project Manager, the designer & the landscape gardening team transformed my overgrown garden into my ultimate dream. Our experience with The Essex Garden Co. has been nothing short of fantastic. We met initially to discuss what we hoped to achieve and the team produced some amazing design choices. They listened to what we wanted and gave us plenty of ideas to also think about. We wanted a garden that was going to be a natural space that we could relax and enjoy, with plenty of plants and colour as well as an area where our dog could roam freely - without us worrying about whether he would dig or chew everything! Our new garden has delivered on all of this and more. Together, the team of Alex, Ben, Kaan, Nick, Sharon, Warren and Will have designed and created an amazing space. The craftsmanship, especially with the paving and sleepers, is superb. The lighting creates a wonderful place in the evening and the rustic nature of it all is exactly what we had hoped for. Throughout the process, communication was excellent. The transparency on timings, costs and all aspects of the project were handled professionally throughout. Once again, an enormous thank you to the entire team as they have absolutely transformed our outside space - we love it.

I m so pleased with my garden design and landscaping done by the Essex Garden Co. The initial garden designs were thoughtful and appealing and once I settled on a design everything continued to run really smoothly. I got a great impression from my very first meeting with Alex, she understood what we wanted to achieve and I could see the passion that she has for her work. I knew then, that our garden would be in safe hands with The Essex Garden Company and I was right. From the offset, the team were incredibly accommodating, initially coming to see us at very short notice and then, coming to our house for numerous design meetings on Sundays, as that was the only day that worked for both myself and my Husband. Sharon, their lovely and very talented designer, made additional visits, to go over measurements and ensure that everything was just right. I continued to be impressed once work began. Ben, Will, Nick and the whole team were professional, hardworking and the craftsmanship on a particularly tricky build was second to none. It wasn t a straightforward project, an unusual shaped garden with different levels and a curveball of a hidden drain thrown in, yet the team still managed to complete on time, as promised. The electrical side of the project was also impressive. Warren and Dave are the best electricians I have come across. Again, the electrical aspect wasn t straight forward but Warren dealt with the whole thing impeccably, dealing with UK Power Networks on my behalf and went above and beyond (with the help of the whole team) in removing/replacing a 3 meter high mirror, in order for the works to be completed. I am very detail focused and as such, kept a close eye on works as they evolved. No question or request was too much and Ben was always extremely accommodating and understanding of my need to have everything just so. Alex project managed the whole thing impeccably and was an absolute pleasure to work with. Lines of communication were always open and she was extremely responsive in answering all of my many queries, giving advice on choice of materials, colour decisions, planting, the list goes on. She (and Ben) also dealt with our neighbours directly, who were concerned about various aspects of the project, in an extremely professional way, which was a big weight off of my mind. Our project has recently competed and we are absolutely delighted with the end result. There was previously a lot of unusable space in our garden, the transformation is incredible and we now have a beautiful space that is entirely usable. We can t thank each and every one of The Essex Garden Company enough, for their tremendous work. A brilliant, cohesive and happy team, it was a pleasure to work with them. Highly recommend.

During our first meeting with directors Alex and Ben from The Essex Garden Company, we knew that they were the company we wanted to work with. They were friendly, personable and professional. After discussing our brief, the wonderful designer Sharon began the design process working with us on our likes and dislikes and she soon produced a set of detailed designs options, which we loved! Once a final plan was agreed, work started on the front and back gardens. This began with tree work from the excellent Ian and his team, followed by the rest of the on site team (Ben, Will, Nick, Khan, Trevor and Fred), who from the outset were friendly, skilled, driven and incredibly hardworking, as were Warren and Dave who took care of the electrics. Every stage of the project was managed closely by Alex and Ben and the whole team took pride in their work. Their passion for our project shone through and we really felt that every detail mattered to them as much as it did to us. The logistical challenges of the project, due to location, were also managed efficiently and professionally at every stage. We recently had a badly damaged fence completely replaced by the team and some re landscaping work done. We are absolutely thrilled with the work, Alex company is an absolute pleasure to deal with , we have used them for several years and cannot recommend them highly enough.
