Excellent results & courteous Technicians!

Jerry arrived on time. I met him in the yard because I had questions. Jerry identified the types of weeds growing my yard. Some of which Id never seen before. He explained the effect treatment would have on the weeds and that application extends a little bit beyond into my neighbors yard. Good, because my neighbor on one side has nothing but weeds in the yard. After treatment he explained when I could expect to see results. Overall, a very pleasant encounter.

The lawn technician knocked on the door and introduced himself explaining what he was to do to the lawn. We discussed the presence of some bare patches in the yard. There are also several patches of weeds in the front yard where previous applications of herbicide could not eradicate.

Only one time did service cancel scheduled service then reappear without notifying us. Thus gates were locked interrupting service; having not been notified they were returning, so we could reopen gates. Service seems very effective to yard.

Really not sure what the guarantees guaranteeing we have Magnolia scale on one of our trees we have the Horticultural bug and spray and everything else for our plants shrubs and trees but I guess the guarantee is only for 30 days and you have to pay for another treatment if you get an infestation of any kind theyre guarantee is nonsense

Truegreen is the worst don t use them. I cancelled service last September 2023 and they came out in May 2024 without my permission and serviced my yard and also June 2024 while I was out of state. Now they are saying I only cancelled my service for Sept. 2023 month and the service reactivates every year. The lady I spoke to said the recording was too old for them to go back to verify I cancelled the service. She would not refer me to a manager either even after she told me her manager told her the audio of the phone call was too old.

Symone always does a wonderful job! I m enjoying not having bugs outside in the evening. We can enjoy outside time without all the bugs! I ve tried all kinds of things in the past, this year I tried TruGreen and it s the best!

Very impressed with Justice s overall service delivery. He notified us of his arrival by ringing our doorbell. Justice explained the service to be conducted. Asked if we had any questions. We monitored the service delivery and Justice did an outstanding job. We are requesting Justice for our ongoing future service delivery.

Some of my bushes couldnt be spayed due to proximity to retention pond. Is it possible to use a small handheld sprayer in lieu of of the hose and pressure tank on truck?

Dan talked with me about today s service. My yard is lush and weed free when I had given it up for dead two years ago. TruGreen does a great job of keeping me informed when they re coming and what they did. You can accurately track your account just using their app.

Awesome service....

Only lasted one service: this company is too big to give good customer service. The technician was suppose to come to the door so I could have my dogs in and didn t. He also was unaware I have cameras in my backyard and saw he didn t cover my whole yard. When I tried to talk to tru green they were unable to respond and only sent text they would come out. Never an apology or wanted to make it right. I canceled the service on a Saturday, the agent disconnected me . I called back and they said they canceled it. Monday I get a text that they will be out to treat my lawn on Tuesday. I called again and canceled again. The lady even said she saw in my notes both times I called to cancel on Saturday. She assured me she it was canceled. I then got a text message Tuesday morning that a technician was coming out today. I called a 4th time to cancel and said if someone shows up from TruGreen they will be trespassing. Absolutely to big of a company to keep track of what s going on in different areas. Isn t will to actually deal with customers needs with pets.

Im giving you this review because you woke up my sleeping husband and freaked out my dog with your salesman. Stop knocking on peoples doors. Anymore, door-to-door salesman tend to be scammers. You make yourself look bad by knocking on doors. This is an archaic practice and all it does is piss people off. Just leave your flyer in my mailbox and youre a hundred times more likely to get business from people.

I hate door to door salespeople because they are disruptive. SOME people have babies that sleep during the day and when my doorbell rings for some raggedy salesperson and makes my dog bark then it can wake up the baby. Oh, and also, coming to my door to sell me lawn service is practically telling me that you think my lawn is ugly and needs work. THANKS! I appreciate that :)

My Mom and I used Tru green in 2021 for weed control and lawn fertilization. We canceled their service and went to another company mainly because twice they came to my Mom s house but never got out of the truck to treat the yard but charged her for the service. We also were not happy with how our yards looked. They called my Mom this year (2023) to reactivate the service and my Mom did so as she was confused and thought it was our new lawn service provider. She called a couple days later to cancel and was told the account had been canceled but she never received her refund of $308. She has called twice but still has not received a refund. This is not a very reputable company in my opinion and not one that I would recommend to anyone.

So far what a terrible experience. I sincerely have no idea what Im paying for. I called to get recurring services. I asked for aeration and overseeding, they said they only do overseeding in the fall but I could get aeration this spring. Okay, great. I also requested they only treat the front lawn because the back is great, and I dont want my dogs and children playing on the chemicals afterwards. First service comes, and they do half my front yard and half my backyard, and no aeration. I call to ask about my service and they said I wont get aeration until fall? So I had them remove it -so I still dont know when they aerate. I also said please do not come into my backyard, customer service was helpful and said she sees a note not to enter backyard so they will send someone again for free. Surprise, they come and do half my front yard and start doing my backyard. I have to tell the guy to please get out of my backyard. So I call again, and customer service says theyll put a note in not to the backyard. I said you guys have already done that, can I please just get the other half of my front yard complete? She said I understand your frustration and would understand if you decided to cancel your service. Honestly unbelievable. Bottom line: getting 1/2 the services in paying for and getting services I specifically requested not to receive.

I canceled my tru green service in August 2022 and in March of 2023 a technician randomly showed up and sprayed my yard un announced. Tru green performed service without authorization. Ive repeatedly called the 1-800 and 1-833 number and the operators mostly just hang up when I tell them Id like to cancel service. I did speak to a representative named Kyla 183960 on April 18th at 10:53 am. She assured me that my account had been canceled and the charges would be removed from my account. I received a bill after that call and again called in to confirm that I am not a customer of Tru green and did not authorize them to perform service on my property after August 2022. I called in again on May 8th 2023 and was told that I couldnt cancel my account until the balance was cleared. I am now being actively extorted for money with penalty of my credit score.

If you are considering this company, be prepared for lifetime membership, constant sales calls, poor service and paying for things you never asked for. I have canceled my service multiple times, the first time was last year, hopefully the last time was today. Why do I keep canceling? Because they keep showing up. It s beyond irritating paying services you didn t want. I have also noticed others commenting on TruGreen specialist not performing or completing a service but being charged as if it was completed. I have also had this experience. This company doesn t seem to care about customer service or performance. Would not recommend

Friendly service!

Do not hire this company. I literally called 3 weeks ago to postpone a scheduled service because of the drought. And yes they were going to put chemicals on my brown grass. I say I want to postpone until we get some rain. The person was not from this country and said ok we can postpone and reschedule. I called today (by the way you will never speak to someone from your area code let alone state) and they tell me the service has been cancelled. Tried to call home office and got someone in Pennsylvania. Nope, Im out. Horrible customer service!!!! So now they ask me to email them back with my name and phone number when my name is literally right at the top of my review!! All you would have to do is look up my account information. So dumb!!

Last year I had an issue with them when they told me they couldn t get equipment into my back yard after setting up the service. I called to just share feedback that I should have known before. Come to find out they do have smaller equipment but I wasn t told about it. I said cancel my service. They didn t. Fast forward to this year they come out and over sprayed my yard killing most the grass in my backyard. I messaged the service in the app, they say a manager will call me in two days. A lady calls me 2 days later and asks for the same information and then says a manager will call me in another 2 days. I wait three days and message again. Finally a manager calls me. I told them to keep my business they would need to reseed my yard. He promises to come out Monday. It s Tuesday and no word. Run from this company.

Our yard was sprayed for mosquitoes this morning! I want this professional every time! Throughout the time she was here she was pleasant, and made sure she covered our yard completely! After her applications the mosquitoes are gone - she just does the application so much better than your other service technicians.

Regina came out extra to respray a tree newly damaged by an insect, even though she had been out 3 weeks ago to spray my trees and shrubs for insect control.

In my neighborhood of about 30 houses, I was the first to be using Tru-Green and my neighbors always complimented my yard the green, no weeds, etc. Now, it is spreading as I see Tru-Green being used by more and more of my neighbors. Remember, horticulture is an ever changing science based on changing weather conditions which affects disease and insects that target grass, trees and shrubs. I find Tru-Green to be on top of the seasonal changes and constantly evolving. Love their service and can t find a company that can outperform them. In addition, I find their people to be specifically trained in their craft it s not just some dude spraying chems on your yard. Very knowledgeable.

Since I did not actually observe the work, I can only say that the first application for 2022, was done two days early, 3/7/2022. So far, 3/24/2022, everything looks good!

Professional work and friendly people.

I have had the same horrible experience that other people have had with Trugreen. Last year I wondered why my yard looked so horrible after being treated several times during the summer. I still had weeds, grass didn t green up or thicken. I put cameras on the house and I actually caught them ghosting a lawn treatment and leaving a ticket saying everything they did while they were there, the guy never got out of his truck except to put the ticket out. When I complained about it they took it very casually that that never happens. Video doesn t lie I had to complain to the higher ups. I did finally get a partial refund on the years service that I had pre-purchased. Unfortunately that didn t make the yard look better. Never ever ever do business with them.

I had ask for a text from the tech so I could be here when he was here and that did not happen.

They are the worse, everytime they come out they dont do what they say and theres always weeds. They always kill my grass so I decided to cancel them and they try to charge me 3x what was due. If u want green grass order ur seed from double dark its way better. Hey Tru green u should change your name to TRUBROWN!!

I also receive mosquito control and treatment for bugs especially fleas and ticks as I have a dog. Glad I do as the bigs have been very minimal and I do not have any flea or tick problems. Mosquitos have been next to none, and I would know as bugs love to bite me.

Company gets 1 star for doing work without my approval. I didnt want a full yard mosquito or any mosquito spray at all. Declined mosquito service from the beginning. But they did it anyway. Alysha from the call center is the best thing about this company. She gets 5 stars from.

Was doubting the mosquito service, but ever since I started have had zero issues with mosquitos and we are outside nearly every night. Would highly recommend this service from TruGreen.

Ronald Alexander is an awesome technician! Came to the house, performed the weed and feed prevention, covered the entire yard as promised, explained the service, left info on the door, left yard signs to let us know he was there. Exactly what I would expect!

They have done a good job for me the past 4 years. Lawn is pretty much weedless.

Unknown weed control or fertilization

Ronald Alexander in our TruGreen lawn technician and he is fantastic to work with! He is the reason why we co to ur our service with TruGreen. He takes care of our lawn needs and is thorough with the job he performs and is very personable. If you had more technicians like him I bet you would have more business. Trying to reach someone in customer service at TruGreen is a horrible experience. That is the worst part.

We used Trugreen s Tree and Shrub service. Sherice has been our service specialist and does a great job. She always checks in with us to understand our concerns and needs for our trees.

I purchased a house and hired TRUGREEN to provide the services of weed control and to fill in the bare spots. After a year of services, neither of my lawn issues were resolved. A representative said that a supervisor would would be able to do a walkthrough with me through my yard. That email was sent to me in October and it is now Nov. 21st. No one has called me to set up my walkthrough. I canceled my services because of the lack of communication and just plain not being satisfied with the service. I would definitely not recommend. I spent way too much money for my grass to look the exact same way that it did when I started the services. Absolutely ridiculous.

Call me all the time after Ive said I dont want to use their services. Then they call and wait til I answer to hang up. It took me awhile to make this review, but at this point it had to be done.

Had two ghost applications where they never performed the service, but wanted to charge me. One application where they burned my yard. Too big for their own good, over stretched. Best to find a local service.

This company is a complete scam!! Fraudulently billing for services which were never performed! They came out to perform a tree & shrub service that I never signed up for in the first place. I have no shrubs & only one tree. My son was there when Brandon P came. He was there less than 5 minutes . All they did was stick a sign in my front yard & hang something on my door! Never even went on the side of my house or in the back yard where my one tree is located! This same thing has happened to someone else I know. FRAUD!! And to save your time, I do not want an apology response this is not a mistake, it is fraud. I am not sure how you stay in business!

I got my first service today. It was terrible. When the driver pulled up, I approached his driver window since I was leaving. He rolled the window down and had a cigarette in his left hand about 1-2 feet from my face. I asked what he was going. He stated weeds. I asked about fertilizing and he said I would to call the office. I get home 30 minutes later. He was already done. I am not sure how long treatment takes. There is no ticket on the door, no sign in the lawn, and no sign of liquids used on, or around, the lawn. I am not sure anything was done. I check the back yard to see if I could find any sign of treatment. I dont. I cant see anything, smell anything, or any grass moved or stepped on. Im not a lawn technician. I could be wrong. He left my gate open when he left. I was told a specialist would come out to diagnose my lawn and its needs. According to a call center rep I talked to later today, the technician was supposed to do that as well. I call the national number. I get put into queue and receive a callback around 30 minutes later, no problem. I explain the issues to the rep and she is very nice and helpful. She puts notes onto the account to have a local rep call my phone and not my wifes. Well, my wife gets a call. A woman from the local office called. She was very indifferent and apathetic. I explain my issues and she just sits silently. I have to double check she is still there. She says the tech said he fertilized on his paper, and that she has never known them not to do both. I had to emphasize our conversation. I said I was canceling twice. They lowered my monthly bill a little. There was not a customer service drive or sincere concern for what happened. Now I have to wait 2 weeks for them to come back out. Tech smoked in my face, told only doing weed control when he reported he also did fertilizer. No specialist inspection as stated at sign up. No invoice, service report, or yard sign was used. Gate left open. Not convinced any product was actually used. Apathetic local office. Literally nothing went right. I am going to try another company.

I called that the dandelions are growing on our lawn despite of having been serviced. They sent someone to take care of the problem with no charge. I m recommending to my neighbor. Do I get some kind of discount rewards for this? Please email me to respond. Positive

I called TruGreen a couple months ago for a quote. They signed me up for the service even though I stated that I was not going to be able to afford it at this time. Be careful talking to their sales team, you may end up getting a bill for services you never agreed to purchase. Additionally when I called to tell them I never purchased it they stated they would cancel the service and then sent someone to my house again. Unorganized across teams and tricking consumers into charges for services they never agreed on. They should be better for as large as they are. Had plans to go back to them once we had the budget to get the service, but I will take my business elsewhere in the future.

Beware of this company. Twice I received emails that mosquito spraying was done. First time I was home and I know that no one came by. I even checked Ring cameras to be sure.. I called and Tru Green Indianapolis sent someone else out the next day. Then it happened again today. I received the email with a report on what they did but nothing on cameras, no sign that someone was at my house. I cancelled. Just a warning to anyone else using Tru Green in Indianapolis area. if you arent home during the so-called service time, you might want to make sure they actually are doing the work.

When I started with Tru Green I had a sea of dandelions in both front and backyard. I now have a weed free yard and it s lush and green. Even though my neighbor doesn t care for his yard keeping the weeds down since using Tru Green it took 2 years before I saw a dandelion in my yard. I would recommend Tru Green to my friends and family

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY TRIED TO SCAM ME MULTIPLE TIMES. I called Tru-Green to do an initial weed spray and fertilizing. They told me it would be scheduled service by service, and I would need to call each time for them to come out. They called me within a couple days and said that I had an over seeding and aeration scheduled the next day, a service that cost $100s of dollars which I never mentioned to anyone let alone scheduled. When I called they canceled the aeration saying it was a system error but then said my original date of service had to be rescheduled to a day I was not available. Fed up with the situation I told them to cancel the service. THE NEXT DAY THEY COME OUT ANYWAYS AND SERVICE THE YARD. When they came to the house, I got a text they were there, and not event 20 minutes later I got the text they had left. My yard is nearly 2 acres and there is no way a treatment could have been done in that time. They put two flags in the yard within 10 yards of each other. Not sure what they mean but it was odd they were only 2 and they were basically right beside each other in a yard of nearly 2 acres. The paper on the door also said that there were certain areas of the yard that were not problematic, even though they are, and other areas that were fine that I know have issues. I called about a week later when I got another text that they were coming in 2 days to AERATE AND OVER SEED AGAIN. After waiting for nearly 30 minutes I requested a call back and never got it. I called back another day got through after waiting another 15 minutes, only for them to try and give me money off another service to stay. They scheduled me for services multiple times I never asked for, serviced after I canceled, didnt even service the yard and tried to cover it up by offering money to stay. Dont use this company.

If I could give a negative star rating I would. Multiple times they claim to perform my service, and indeed had not. Today when I caught the technician red-handed lying about this he proceeded to verbally assault me. Trugreen has been contacted. Waiting for a supervisor. Do not use this company!

Do Not use these guyz. They have the worst ever scheduling system and always provide false promises. Especially dont ever go for the Aeration service and they get the money from you but no service till the end of fall.

People that came out to provide service was great but the WORST customer services through the phone support and chat. I don t think I have ever been lied to or hung up on so much. I ve requested to change service dates through the chat. They say they did. True green shows up when they aren t suppose to so. I asked them not to provide the service. Still charged the full amount and when I call support all they can do is send someone out for a free treatment but guess what they changed me the full amount again and refuse any refund. It took FIVE calls to cancel my services. Every person either hangs up when you request something or literally lie and say they will cancel it. Icing on the cake is calling to cancel and being told I prepared so I should let them come one more time since it is no change to me. I finally agreed just to get the person to stop talking. And of course after the prepared service last service I get charged again. It is now day 7 since I requested a refund. No refund.

Trugreen is so horrible its not even funny. Constant canceled and rescheduled services, aeration and seeding. Its honestly a complete joke and have no idea how they keep customers. Definitely did NOT get what I paid for. Id give 0 stars if I could.
