Tip Topp Lawns in Indianapolis

I used Tip Topp to treat my lawn. I bought the annual package. They communicated every single time, even letting me know if they couldn’t make it because of rain or bad weather. Professional in every sense of the word. Recommend.

While spending more than a month at the hospital by my wife’s side I reached out to Tip Topp Lawns to help with my yard. I take pride in my yard and HATE to ask for help. Tip Topp did not hesitate and worked me into their very busy schedule AND made my yard look amazing! I couldn’t be more impressed with everything about this company!

Had Tip Topp Lawns install drains in our backyard where we had some drainage issues and also redo some grading and lay down new grass seed. Chris and the crew did an absolutely amazing job and ensured everything was done right. Would definitely go with Tip Topp Lawns for all of my landscaping needs!

WARNING: The owners will do the job incorrectly, take your money, and run. They won’t respond and won’t come fix what they never did right. I had their landscape team come out to work on my yard last fall. Their job was to remove around 5 garden beds, all plants, all rocks and debris, and plant grass seed. I requested I be home when they do the job but they came when I was away on a vacation. When I returned, they were almost done with the job, and all of the dirt was laid down and grass seed and hay. Fast forward to this spring. As the winter weather passed and as the spring rain has begun, their dirt they put down has started to shift only to find that they did not remove any of the rocks/bricks around my garden bed, and they didn’t remove the roots of any of the plants. They simply covered it all with dirt. Every garden bed looks exactly like it did prior to their service, except they now have grass inside of them and my mower hits rocks every time I mow. They also didn’t cover the fill areas with grass seed, so you can see very distinct marks of where they placed seed and where they didn’t. Unfortunately, I trusted they did the job right and watered dirt for months on end, raising my water bill for nothing. Take a look at the various pictures below from this spring. I reached out to the owner, the same person who came to do the job, (alongside around 3 high schoolers, not a cheap service by the way) and he said he would come out to talk and take a look. I asked for a day and he said he would have to check his calendar. He never responded after. I called him once a week for two weeks, sent a text both weeks too. Left voicemails. Nothing. The third week, I called their office, asked for a call back. Nothing. The next week, they send an email with my invoice saying the job is done. I respond with all the pictures showing it isn’t, and they never responded. I’ll never get this work done properly, and I’ll never get any money back. Run. Find an honest and real landscaper who will own up to mistakes. Not answering your paying customers calls is childish and unprofessional, Chris. (By the way, his wife runs the office, so good luck getting anyone who doesn’t hold the same opinion on the job).
